Did Bart know who he was? Of course he did, he scolded himself. Don't be stupid, Tim. Clearing his throat awkwardly, Red Robin took a step back. "Bart. Nice... Nice to see you again."

Connor’s heart had dropped into the pit of his stomach at the sight of Milagro, and he had to fight the pure rage that welled up in him. He wanted to find the asshole that did this and hurt them, hurt them bad, but right now, Milagro needed him. He wrapped his arms around her carefully, not wanting to hurt her, one hand moving up rest gently against her hair. “It’s me, it’s Connor,” he said soothingly. “I... Just did a lot of research,” he replied quietly. He wouldn’t tell her how he had been in panic mode ever since she’d been taken, how he had worked day and night until he had been able to find her.This was part of the reason why he hadn’t wanted to be on a team-- because then he would start caring, and other people could hurt him. But it was too late now.

“Can you stand? Or do you need me to carry you?”

Explaining a random trip to her mother was easy enough. She said that her work needed her in another city for one night and that she’d be back home shortly. She hired a friend that she trusted to help her mom while she was gone.....well...hired was the nice term. what she really did was held her friend by the throat and said if she gets a single word from her mother that she’s not feeling ok then their own ears are going to be their last meal before she cuts them open.

Thankfully her old car had a big enough trunk to fit an entire suit of armor and sword without having to have the trunk open or looking suspicious. She parked in an ally nearby the address that John had given her and climbed into the trunk from the drivers seat so she could put on her armor without being seen. She locked got out of the trunk and locked the car before looking around and coming out of the alley. 

She had planned this out and so far everything was going right. She got to the address as the sun was going down for the day so The Red Hood wouldn’t be out on patrol yet. She wondered if her armor was necessary for this meetup and figured it was better to be safe then sorry. She gave a hard, but not too hard now that she knows about her power, knock on the door and waited for an answer. She must look like a cosplayer meeting up at a friends house to the people of Gotham since the title of The Light Knight hasn’t spread very far from her town
