Catch of the Day.. Juvenile Reef Cuttlefish Spent the morning at Hantu on my own to test new camera rigs and new accessories.. The Elusive Hantu "Donut" Doto Today we affirm two Hantu myths 1) New rig, New species found 2) First timers will be blessed with beginner's luck There was not much to see during the second dive at Nudi garden today, until my buddy Brian had to resort to just shooting the random corals on the seabed to familiarise his new camera rig.. even I was quite demoralised, and resorted to playing with the skeleton shrimps.. It was only until the 50th minute, when I was about to inform Brian its time to go, he showed me this, hidden in the bush of hydroids.. Kudos to Brian Livestrong aka DDM (Donut Doto Man) for finding this Hantu Epic Rare doto on his own 💪 It was only until when we returned to the boat, only to realise that we were one of the three people who took the first photos of this critter today.. Tenellia Sibogae This is by far the smallest critter I have ever taken underwater. This puny fellow is small, my fingernail on my pinky can just squish it without much effort. When Kelvin Pung pointed this little fellow to me this morning, I was wondering what it is, is there even a head on this thing. 😂 We had to gently brush with our giant fibgers to sweep away the silt and seaweed to reveal the face, except for that strand that is on his body, because I was afraid I'd just squish it entirely.. So here it is, my first Tenellia Sibogae 😁, it's not much, but i guess it will do for now..
