uuutrac has a lot of pop culture references 

Uuutrac heavily references Japanese pop culture with the Tower of the Sun being one of them.  

The Tower of the Sun was created by Taro Okamoto and Tsuburaya Productions whom we know as the creators of Ultraman and other live-action Tokusatsu shows.

Taro's design is loosely based on the tower of the sun, Taro's head looks like the middle face in the tower both face and ears are taken from the face in the middle and the elbows on the side.

Taro is named after Taro Okamoto the creator of Tower of the sun, taro in the game is an artist like the same person he was inspired from.

The Tower of the sun might of loosely inspired The Icarus Rangers with the red marking in the middle a reference to it 

the three faces loosely inspired the three stories in Uuutrac where the faces could have inspired love interests like the black sun

or the sun of the underworld might have inspired Yomi since Yomi's name is the Japanese word for the underworld.

Isshikis name.

The name suzu isshiki is a combination of “bell” and “Ich".

Uuutrac references alot of 1970s anime.

There is something i noticed about the name of the characters in uuultracc, Sapphire and Uran names comes from osamu tetzuka works Sapphire from princess knight and uran from astro boy. This may not be a coincidence since there was a cg where akira was playing with shotaros hair in the bath the hair style resembles astro boy. suzu’s real name is Berg Katze, reference to the character with the same name from the gachman series. the visual novel is based on tokusatsu and and kaiju films so it wouldn’t be surprising that is has 1970s anime references  sprinkled in.

Uuutrac has callbacks and inspiration from tokusatsu and superhero manga in the game such as Devilman,Kamen Rider - Specifically Kamen Rider Ryuki,Ultraman, Babel II, Tetsujin 28-go, Super Sentai.
