Yknow there are a lot of reasons that people don't like mc, but I think the reason that boggles me the most is "she lies so much herself in a game where you call out liars"

Like... that's the point.

Liar constantly talks about how in pursuit of love, everyone hides parts of themselves and try to make themselves look cool and like someone that other people would want to love. Why would everyone not include mc herself??? She wants people to like her even if that means she has to hide so much of herself and it culminates in her many, many insecurities about herself.

I fully believe liar utt mc fits the themes of uncover the truth so well BECAUSE she's constantly hiding pieces of herself and BECAUSE she's a liar herself and liar wouldn't be the same without her extremely flawed self

Tl;dr some people who don't like liar mc haven't really thought about liar's writing and story and it really shows (which like yeah I know this is an otome game and people dont usually analyze those but cmon)
