I never thought I'd see this in my own, once so safe, small country. First New Zealand. Now (maybe) the Netherlands

With bated breath.. We're watching TV, watching live streams or listen to the radio.. awaiting.

Lots of different stories. (Almost) none confirmed. We can't do anything but speculate and let the authorities do their job at this moment..

3 death.. 9 wounded.. My heart cries and goes out to the family's and people involved. ☹️

Now we know too - how lots of other parts in the world feel, of which some even on a more regular base...

Let's not forget that terrorism has NO religion or nationality.

As reported by the news website AD, the assailant then fled the scene. A Police official spokesman Joost Lanshage confirmed that Several shots were fired in a tram and many people were injured. There are unconfirmed reports of one death. Helicopters are patrolling the scene and no one has been taken into custody as yet. Upon initial investigations the police cannot rule out that this incident had a possible terrorist motive.
