could i perhaps ask for some lore on raazel/azrael? how was the council able to reduce an angel as powerful as him to something so pathetic?

Raazel, or Azrael, "whom god helps", was one of the strongest archangels, the only one above him being Lucifer, but because of him being a gen 1 Archangel and his connection to god, he was stripped of the father's light soon after Gabriel's own execution by the council. seeing as he was still strong and very much capable of easily overthrowing the council, he was condemned with Damnatio Memoriae, in order to prevent him ever trying to regain his powers and cause chaos. He was then exiled from Heaven as a whole. The council cast him down onto hell, leaving him to be alone, lost, scared and with his brain basically rewired to soup. then Pegasus finds him. And all starts to go a bit better
