i can see mei taking on satoru’s role and staying behind to fight toji

i see uta taking on suguru’s and escorting riko in, along with kuroi 

i see shoko stationed somewhere safe, in case she’s needed as backup

.

toji kills mei like he did satoru

and he goes in and shoots riko in front of uta

kills kuroi and uta too

he goes back out and faces mei who’s been revived by shoko 

they fight and they end the match in a draw - mei and toji both dying 

only mei has shoko and she is revived

shoko rushes to utahime and riko and kuroi

but even she’s tired reversing

she’s just learning her technique, she doesn’t know how to replenish her energy fast enough 

she can’t reverse everyone’s injuries

she can’t revive everyone

she has to choose

she chooses utahime in the end 

.

it is utahime who spirals into a deep depression 

shoko and mei ask her if she’s all right and she just tells them not to worry 

.

i can see so much depth in their characters too

it would be cool too, seeing how these characters would’ve developed in this heartbreaking arc

gojo’s finally returned utahime’s books 

and slipped in a couple of his own...
