Fan fiction is wild cuz sometimes i absorb a line from a fic into my every day vernacular and I can’t explain to someone how it’s from a fic I read in 2012 so you just have to let them believe you’re really smart and came up with that on your own

#usually this is about either duncney or teen titans but i suddenly got an insane flashback to an X-men fanfic i read when first class came #out where Erik says ‘he (Charles) confuses ruthlessness with cruelty. it’s naive but he wishes it will never change’. I haven’t read an xmen #fic since the one set in the 70s came out but it hit me like a ton of bricks that the ruthlessness like I think of all the time Is from a #Cherik fic… why are the only ppl turning their fic into movie deals harry styles/twilight ppl cuz i would give my life for some of my fav #stories to turn into a movie. imagine how hype the duncney collective would be lol #and then I can say oh I heard that line in (this really popular movie) and not from a smutty fanfic I read in middle school
