WALL E AU RANDOM INFORMATION DUMP BECAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT
General information:
It has been 700 years since humanity left Earth
The climate system has gone to absolute smeg, they're supposed to be somewhere in England but the weather gives them random dust storms and extreme weather conditions
Other Wall-E's are essentially the crew of Red Dwarf in the show (Kochanski, Petersen, Todhunter)
Cat, Kryten and Holly do exist in this universe, but we're not being introduced to them just yet
Holly is Hattie!Holly in this AU because I love her
Story loosely follows main plot points of the Wall-E film, but with quite a few differences and more opportunities for angst I think
Lister information:
Lister has been out of stasis for 11 years, he's been alone for 5
In this universe Lister's quite strong
He finds sporks absolutely hilarious because they're so stupid looking
Was quite lazy before the others died, let them do a lot more of the work. Attitude changed after he became the last one left
Used to live in the workers centre but ended up setting up the storage unit house because the others wouldn't stop complaining about the mess he made in the main area
Rimmer information:
His 'eyes' on the visor are very much like the eyes that EVE has but also he has eyebrows (literally just two lines)
Likes to use his blaster because it gives him a sense of power, doesn't actually like using it on people though. He only shot at Lister the first time they met because he wasn't entirely sure what Lister was (couldn't see him so y'know)
To be able to properly scan people's identity, like he scanned Lister, he has to get quite close to them
Sometimes his visor eyes go white if he's really emotional about something
Not gonna tell you guys much more other than that so far because I need to save it for plot related reasons tee hee (also Im still figuring stuff out lol, dw I've got the main bits sorted out)
#im actually quite pleased with myself that Ive managed to keep this idea going for so long#usually i rushedly start an idea#and then write like 5 chapters with no feedback#barely talk to people about it at all#barely plan it out properly half the time#and then forget about it#so hopefully that won't happen this time#red dwarf#Red Dwarf Wall E AU#wall e au

Fwb Leona got me thinking about Leona so much..... not necessarily fwb but Leona taking you to the locker room right before the match to have the naughtiest quickie (not that quicky actually-) 🙈
To let off some steam and relax before the match he says.... and then rushedly helping you put the pants/skirt back and urging you out bc the match really is about to start in a moment. Ofc no cleaning up, keep everything inside, because knowing is like a lucky charm that'll help him win 🤗
Him saying some smug shit like "hold this (cum) for me while I win" gggfgfff,,,,,
OH MY. 😵💫 this is so yummy... *chef's kiss* he absolutely would say something like that AAAAAAAAAAAA. orz orz he always plays well, but somehow he plays even better than he usually does. OOOOO and the other beastmen can smell you all over him. >:D the other team doesn't stand a chance. Leona's running on post-sex exhilaration and the need to show off (he needs to impress his (future) mate, after all). <3 OMG OMG and then when he scores he deliberately looks out into the crowd searching for you, sending you the most smug smirk ever from where he's balancing on his broom. The fans in the stands have no idea who that smirk was directed at, but the beastman sitting next to you knows (and so do you) hehe.

rpcdev trick or treat - day 4
While it may not exactly be an old attic, shut away for decades and eons, but it might as well be. How long had it been since he'd last been in his sister's room for any amount of time? Once every so often to rushedly refresh the lavender and get out again, looking anywhere but the bed. And now here he was, standing in the doorway, gaze fixed on the glow and the lingering stain of death right in the middle of the room.
Flinching slightly at the touch, Lockwood glanced over as Lucy placed a gentle hand on his arm. He managed to relax a touch, the ghost of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, but he can't quite bring the full force of his usual smile. She knew how hard this was for him and was willing to not say anything. Or push past him and force the issue.
"Lockwood, if you're not up for it--"
"No, it's time." He'd made up his mind about it and knew that if he didn't do it now, he would shut it all away again and never get around to doing it. Clearing his throat, Anthony straightened his shoulders and took a steadying breath. The smile he flashed at Lucy was nowhere near the full force of his usual charming self, but it was real. And the way her face softened into a smile of her own, the type that seemed reserved JUST for him told him that she knew how real his smile was. "Right... so... let's just... get started, shall we?"
He waited for her nod, not that he really needed to wait for her, this was all on his time. But he knew that Lucy wanted to be a part of this and he also knew that he needed her for this. George would have been good, as well, but there was just something a little more special about the way Lucy's presence seemed to help steady and calm him, even in the worst of situations. Not that this was THE worst that they had faced, but it was one of his personal worst. So, knowing she was ready and would be by his side throughout it... Lockwood knew that he would be able to get through this.
Knowing it was truly now or never, he steeled himself before stepping across the threshold and into the usually locked off bedroom. The air was stale with the lingering scent of lavender. His first thought was that it would need refreshing soon. Not that Jessica had ever come back and not that she would...
"Lockwood."
Starting slightly as the sound of his name jarred him from his thoughts, Anthony looked around and gave Lucy a reassuring smile. "Sorry, bit lost in thought about the last time we... anyway, it's not important. Shall we open the windows? Get some fresh air in here for a change? I think that might be best..."
He busied himself, trying not to dwell on the thoughts of his sister that he knew would be pushing into his head for the rest of the day, if not longer. She had never come back as a Visitor and after he'd braved crossing to the Other Side in the protective wrappings of a Spirit Cloak with Lucy by his side, her hand gripping his tightly through their gloved hands, he knew that she wouldn't. She wasn't fully ready to properly cross over, even now that the gates were open again and they were all able to. They had actually spoken… or as much as possible given that his Listening ability was basically nonexistent, but he trusted Lucy in what she said his family was saying while he stared at them like a hungry dog stares at its empty food bowl at dinnertime. He can still remember the sting of his tears freezing against his exposed cheeks in the chill of the other worldly air. He’d seen the same on Lucy’s face, though neither of them had spoken about it, letting each other quietly wipe them away after and pretending like it had never happened. Knowing that his family were literally WAITING for him before crossing over into whatever lay beyond was… both comfort and terrifying. The idea of them waiting there for years… DECADES even. It was hard to fathom. But, again, from his own experiences on the Other Side and what Lucy had conveyed from his parents, time doesn’t seem to work quite the same there as it does here among the living. Which made a certain amount of sense. Still, the thought of them just… waiting for him… it seemed terrible. He knew that thought had shown on his face because he could remember Lucy looking sharply around at Jessica before laughing in absolute delight. Even his parents had seemed amused as he asked what was so funny only to have Lucy relate that Jessica threatened to find a way to bring him back to life just to kill him herself if he died young because he was being reckless and stupid.
It’s that thought he holds onto now, stepping deeper into the room and crossing to the window that he lined with sprigs of dried lavender. He hesitated slightly, fingers resting against the iron barring across the glass for a long moment before dropping his hands to the latch. He opened the latch and gripped the sash, pulling it open. The movement and the breeze that suddenly came in scattered the sprigs of dried lavender out across the floor. He made a half-hearted grab at the nearest ones, missing spectacularly and just making himself look silly. A muscle in his jaw jumped. This was going to be harder than he first thought. A quick glance to the side let him know that Lucy had either thought ahead or learned from his mistake, sweeping the sprigs into one hand before unlatching and opening the window. It created a decent cross breeze, sweeping the faintly lavender scented, heavy air around the room and letting fresh air slowly seep in.
With the windows open, he turned to the bed and took a deep breath. He could do this.

In the process, Saki's own reaction to the poor youkai starts giving Neo an idea of the kind of person that the pegasus is. In fact, she's starting to see what the whole business is at all- someone who has lived among criminals for a few years would be able to tell when an equal is in sight.
Partially, the illusionist couldn't even help but to think about her long-lost partner, a certain redhead...
Carefully, the nervous youkai tries to attend the cooking pasta until her boss finishes the beer; startled and jumping a little, she goes to pick a new can for the spirit, and rushedly serves it on the table before going back to the food.
Taking the casserole with the noodles out of the fire, the fake youkai then serves the noodles alone in a bowl. Picks some vegetables that still seemed good, and then goes to sneakily pick some dense teriyaki sauce to write a message over the toppings.
It's obviously not what Saki asked for at all- the air isn't plagued by the good scent the ramen usually makes, and it's only once the illusion puts the bowl in front of the pegasus, that she smiles a little and takes a step back.
"Sorry. I was weak and shattered easily, boss." She says, in a tone that escapes the range of the previous shyness. On the bowl, 'Watch your back' can be read- the message starting to slide and disappear the more that the ingredients get drowned in the soup.
...and from behind, from the shadows, the predator finally comes out of her spot, ready to charge for Saki's table.
A small scoff escapes from Saki's lips when she hears the youkai's excuse. There isn't much sympathy coming from the pegasus as what she cares about most is saving her Gensokyo branch of the mafia. Business is business.
"Hmph. Seems like people 'round this place are pretty soft then. Back at the Beast Realm, we'd find the varmint and hang them by their ankles. Next time, I'll have to find a strong youkai to keep tabs on y'all so I don't have to clean up the mess."
Saki boasts to the other youkai with her will, it's part of what's helped her survive in the beast realm. A feat especially noteworthy due to her being a prey animal, a creature made to be wary of her surroundings and immediately respond to danger.
Her ears pick up the faintest sounds coming from the trees mixed in with the boiling of the noodles. She naturally stops and tenses up a bit as if she's trying to discern exactly what the source of the sound could be, but it's too difficult to tell with the added cooking sounds.
She turns herself back facing towards the youkai in a proper sitting position. It's difficult to shake the feeling of potential danger that is continuing to crawl up her spine. Her furrowed brow and narrowed pupils easily give away her sense of unease.
She hates it.
Tilting her head back, Saki begins to chug the rest of her drink. After several large gulps, the beer is completely drained from the glass.
"Gimme another." Drinking her beer while waiting for her ramen to be finished really is the best she can do right now to calm her nerves whilst also trying to keep a low profile.

» 6,668 words
» Part two will be out as soon as it’s done!
“Do we have everything?”
You looked at Mingyu, who was sitting on the driver’s seat, and then proceeded to look at the others - Wonwoo, Jun and Minghao - while thinking about if you had remembered to pack everything necessary. The other three seemed to be thinking about the same thing, and the thoughtful silence only broke when Wonwoo gave Mingyu a nod.
“We’ve got everything.”
With that, the five of you left, only barely managing to fit in Mingyu’s car. The trunk wasn’t big enough to hold everything you had with you, so in particular the ones on the backseat, that being you, Minghao and Wonwoo, also had some bags on your laps.
You let out a contented sigh when Mingyu opened the windows and you could feel the breeze on your face. It was finally summer, and the five of you had rented a cottage to yourselves for a week. As a group of best friends, the week had been something you had all looked forward to for months, since it meant being in the best possible company with no disturbances whatsoever.
“Apparently there’s a lake near the cottage,” Minghao hummed, and you raised your eyebrows while a grin made its way to your lips.
“Wanna go swim?” you suggested, and he agreed readily, visibly excited about the mere thought.
Wonwoo snorted quietly. “I can take pictures of you guys swimming, but I’m not stepping in the water.”
“That’s okay,” you laughed and momentarily leaned your head on Wonwoo’s shoulder, allowing your body to relax.
It had been quite a while since the last time you had been able to really relax, which was only a bigger reason you looked forward to the little vacation with your best friends. The only thing that had you biting your lower lip a bit nervously was the fact that you had been very needy lately, meaning that during the past few weeks there had not been a single day that you would’ve gotten through without masturbating, usually more than once a day.
Some people joked about how they got hornier when the weather got warmer, and you had, unfortunately, noticed the same about yourself this time around. Naturally, that made being surrounded by four men as attractive as your best friends rather difficult, and you couldn’t help but adore how handsome Mingyu looked behind the wheel.
The loose tank top he was wearing revealed his toned arms and shoulders that had grown a lot ever since he started working out seriously, and it all turned you on beyond belief.
Before your mind could go any further, you closed your eyes and imagined yourself in a cold shower, which you really needed at the moment.
If you were in that state five minutes into the drive, you didn’t even want to imagine how difficult the week would be.
The drive went by surprisingly fast, mostly because you did everything you could to distract yourself from all the testosterone surrounding you, and felt a wave of relief course through you when you all finally got out of the car in front of the cottage.
Jun placed his hands on his hips and looked at the building with his head tilting a little. “It looks a bit… small?”
Mingyu chuckled and gave him a toothy grin while leaning on the car’s roof. “You guys wanted it to be as cheap as possible, so there’s one big bedroom and a joint kitchen, dining area and living room.”
Trying not to let the panic inside of you show too much, you slowly moved your eyes to Mingyu and licked your lips. “...One bedroom?”
He nodded proudly. “There’s a big bed and a convertible sofa. It’ll be enough.”
Your heart beat rapidly in your chest: while you hadn’t necessarily expected that you’d all get your own bedrooms, you had not thought you’d be sleeping in the same room with all of them, either.
Wonwoo snorted and gave Mingyu an incredulous look. “Dude, we’re five people. Any idea how cramped it’s gonna be?”
Mingyu shrugged and walked up to you and Minghao, placing his hands on your shoulders. “It’s fine, we’re all best friends! This will only bring us closer.”
You held back a wince while shuddering a little.
If Mingyu only knew how close you’d be by the end of the week.
The five of you started unpacking the car, and Mingyu looked at the cottage almost proudly when he opened the door. “It’s not half bad.”
As the rest of you entered the building while carrying your own bags and some groceries, you all agreed with him. The cottage was a bit more on the modern side, and you were happy to see how clean it was on the inside. Mingyu had remained rather mysterious about it all, so you had painted all kinds of images in your mind, everything from the oldest, messiest possible cottage to a super modern one. It turned out that the reality was nicely in between.
“It’s pretty nice, actually,” Wonwoo hummed, impressed yet not completely convinced, and stepped into the cottage. By the door, there was a coat rack, and a bit further inside were two doors. Curious, Wonwoo opened both of them: the one on the right side of the hallway led to the bedroom, which was, luckily, larger than everyone had feared, and the door on the left led to the bathroom.
While Wonwoo looked into the two rooms, you and Junhui carried some of the bags further into the cottage, and you felt a sense of relief wash over you at how cozy the big room was, with a functional kitchen, a dining set and a comfortable couch as well as a couple of arm chairs.
“Looks like it’ll be a really nice week,” you stated and got agreeing hums from the others.
Minghao chuckled when he looked into the bedroom. “Y/N, come look at this.”
You did as he asked and felt your heart skip a beat at the sight of what was in the bedroom: a convertible couch and a king-size bed with one nightstand, and that was about it.
“So… how does everyone want to sleep?” you asked, trying to hide your nervousness, and stiffened when you felt Mingyu standing right behind you, his chest touching your back lightly.
“I have no preference. Although, the couch does look a bit small for me...” he muttered, and you nodded slowly.
Junhui chuckled and joined you by the door, and Wonwoo did the same. Junhui hummed. “Think you’d fit on the bed with me and Mingyu, Y/N?”
Shivers ran down your spine at the mere thought of sleeping anywhere near the two when you were as easily turned on as you had been lately, but your brain couldn’t come up with a reasonable excuse.
“I don’t see why not.”
Minghao got his arm around your waist and placed his chin on your shoulder. “You won’t sleep with me, then?”
The way he whispered so that his hot breath hit your neck made a heat pool in the pit of your stomach, and it took all of your self-control to just let out a light chuckle. “Maybe some other time, Hao.”
Little by little you all started settling down in the cottage: Mingyu put everything necessary into the fridge and some of the cupboards in the kitchen, and the rest of you took some necessities out of your bags. You gave an incredulous look at all the lotion that Junhui took out of his bag.
“I didn’t realize your skin was that dry,” you snorted and shook your head.
Junhui let out a dirty laugh, and you could hear Wonwoo and Minghao chuckle, too. The eldest male put his lotions down and raised his eyebrows. “Oh, Y/N…”
“What?” you asked and turned to look at your friends. Only when you saw the meaningful looks on their faces, you realized what all the lotion was actually for. “...You need that much of it per week?”
Shrugging, Junhui gave you a grin. “You never know, it’s good to be prepared.”
“I don’t know how you’re planning on finding the privacy, but good thinking,” Wonwoo said softly - too softly to be talking about jerking off.
Swallowing hard at the thoughts that were starting to cloud your mind, you nodded. “I see.”
Minghao looked at you in amusement and got an arm around your shoulders. His voice was playful and teasing when he spoke. “Aren’t you happy to spend a whole week with us?”
“Oh, you bet,” you said with a nervous laughter and sighed under your breath while closing the zipper of your bag.
How were you supposed to deal with your own sexual urges when everyone else seemed determined to make it as difficult as possible?
The more you thought about it, the more you started to realize that the week would be one of your worst nightmares. You realized that you had, although as a friend, kissed all of them, whether it was an accident, during a game of spin the bottle or late at night after one too many drinks.
And when you thought about those memories more, you realized that you probably wouldn’t mind kissing them again, nor would you mind doing a lot more.
You tapped your cheeks when your thoughts went too much south again: they were your best friends, who most certainly didn’t feel that way about you. You’d have a fun week as friends, and that would be it.
Wonwoo chuckled softly when he saw you with your eyes shut and brows slightly furrowed, and he nudged you lightly. “You okay? We’re not making you feel uncomfortable, are we?”
“No, no,” you said rushedly and gave him a smile, feeling all too conscious about how close to you he was standing.
“Let us know if there’s anything that we can do - or not do,” he grinned and tapped your shoulder before leaving the bedroom. You looked after him with your lower lip between your teeth, and soon distracted yourself by helping Minghao get his painting supplies out of his bag.
The day rolled by nicely with the five of you getting to know some of the surrounding area as well as the cottage itself. You visited the small beach that was right by the cottage, and Mingyu was ecstatic to find a grill on one side of the cottage, which was pretty much what you had counted on when you had bought all the meat and vegetables for the trip, or at least the beginning of it.
That evening you were all gathered by the grill while Mingyu and Junhui did most of the cooking, and talked about everything nice that had happened recently. Wonwoo told a funny story from his work, and Minghao gave you some insight on his life as Mingyu’s roommate, which seemed perfect except on the days when Mingyu wanted the whole place cleaned up. You laughed heartily when Mingyu clicked his tongue.
“I just don’t want to live in the middle of a mess, that’s all,” he pouted, and Minghao gave him a warm smile.
“I know,” he hummed and snorted to himself. “But really, last time there was almost nothing to clean up.”
“I clean up when I’m frustrated,” Mingyu shrugged, his eyebrows in a frown, and threw Junhui a glare when he snickered.
“Wouldn’t it be easier to just get laid?” Junhui asked and laughed loudly as he dodged a piece of asparagus that Mingyu threw at him.
Minghao shook his head with a soft, knowing smile on his lips. “Mingyu’s not like that.”
Your ears perked up at the remark, and you looked at the tall male curiously when Minghao went on to tell that according to his analysis, there had to be something more between Mingyu and whoever he had sex with, and as far as he knew, he didn’t have anyone like that in his life. Junhui hummed in understanding and Mingyu quietly noted that Minghao was correct.
As the conversation began moving towards more sexual things, you did everything you could so that you wouldn’t get too caught up on what was being said - you could already feel your body reacting to your best friends, so the last thing you needed was knowing just how horny Junhui had been recently, or how Wonwoo hadn’t had time to jack off recently.
Shuddering at the mental images, you got something to eat from the large plate of cooked food, hoping that eating would distract you from everything else at least a little.
The first night at the cottage was just as weird and exciting as you had thought. It was rather warm in the bedroom so you were all wearing minimal clothing while still comfortable with one another, which in most cases was underwear, with or without a shirt on top. You had a top and shorts on, and even that seemed like too much when you were lying down between Junhui and Mingyu.
“Good night,” Minghao said from the convertible sofa, where he was lying next to Wonwoo, and the rest of you replied to him with similar words.
Mingyu turned to lie so that his back was facing you, but Junhui remained with his face to you, and he grinned at you when you looked at him curiously.
“It feels like a big sleepover,” he whispered to you, and you chuckled quietly.
Nodding, you smiled at him. “It really does.”
Junhui closed his eyes with a small smile still present on his lips, and you let out a quiet sigh as you moved your gaze to the ceiling instead.
You could only hope you would fall asleep as soon as possible: your body was already showing signs of arousal, and that wasn’t something you particularly wanted to suffer from with hardly any chance to take care of it.
...
The week started all kinds of pleasant for the five of you. The sun was shining, the wind wasn’t too strong and the lake by the cottage shone under the sunlight so temptingly that you found yourself looking at it every now and then from the window. You went to swim briefly with Junhui and Mingyu during the second day, and the cool water was the perfect balance to the hot sun. Minghao and Wonwoo were in charge of that day’s lunch, so the three of you didn’t return to the cottage until you were called in.
However, as pleasant as it was to simply be away from the city in the best company you could think of, you hadn’t realized that you had also signed yourself up for a week of your best friends shirtless. You tried your best not to let your gaze wonder on their upper bodies too obviously, or enough to get to you, which was difficult when they were so close to you, and the lines of black hair that went downwards from their belly buttons were just that exciting for you.
The hot weather worked its magic on you, too, and so you weren’t too surprised when you found yourself getting aroused regularly, particularly around your friends. The heavy breathing, minimal clothing and openness about all kinds of feelings did nothing to calm your hormones down, and instead prompted you to play with more and more thoughts.
What would Wonwoo sound when getting a blowjob? Would Junhui be as good in bed as he was at dancing? Would riding Mingyu’s cock be as mind-blowing as you imagined it to be? Would Minghao be as good at giving oral as he seemed?
Stuck with such thoughts, you slowly tore your gaze away from Mingyu’s toned upper body and looked out of the window instead, all too aware of how wet your pussy was.
Mingyu quirked his eyebrow, having sensed you staring at him, and the corner of his mouth tugged upwards a little when he saw you shift in your seat, your lips parted in what he thought was a silent moan.
The rest of the day was not in any way easier, and by the time you all went to bed, you were burning to be touched, or simply fucked - both would work for you. It took all of your willpower so that you didn’t just turn to Junhui, kiss him passionately and guide his hand between your legs, when that was quite likely all that you wanted and needed.
...
The next morning, still half-asleep, you made your way to the kitchen in search of some cold water and breakfast supplies. Your stomach grumbled a little, and you pouted at it.
“Morning,” Junhui said, his voice so low that you could tell he had just woken up, too and sipped on his tea. Placing the cup down, he looked at you with a lopsided grin. “Are you even awake yet?”
“Barely,” you mumbled and yawned, leaning against the counter for a moment. “Is there more hot water?”
“Yeah, the kettle is half full,” Junhui hummed.
You melted into a small smile. “Beautiful.”
As you were about to walk up to the kettle, Junhui was also about to get out of the kitchen corner, and as a sum of both your half-asleep state and his apparent rush, you bumped into him and nearly lost your balance, which resulted in the two of you sharing quite likely the most awkward hug you ever had, as he tried to keep you on your feet and you clung onto him.
Both of you remained silent as you felt something pressing into your lower stomach, and Junhui was again reminded of the reason he had gotten out of bed in the first place.
Trying to appear as normal as he could, Junhui unwrapped his arms from around you, smiled at you sweetly and patted your shoulder. “Nice save.”
With that, he started taking long steps into the bathroom, leaving you frozen in the kitchen as your heart hammered in your chest. Swallowing hard, you tried to ignore the way you could feel yourself getting aroused, with your nipples hardening and pussy pulsating when blood rushed to it.
You figured that getting the tea and making breakfast would help, but oh, how wrong you were.
Nothing would distract you when you heard the bathroom sink be turned on, and not much later you could hear muffled panting, moans and grunts from the bathroom. All you could think about was how Junhui was jacking off on the other side of the wall, probably leaning against the wall in the shower corner, desperately stroking his hard cock and fucking into his own fist…
“This has got to be the first time I see you this lost in thought.”
You jumped and nearly dropped the kettle when you heard Minghao’s gentle voice right by your ear, and he laughed heartily at your reaction.
“Shit, sorry,” you rushed to say and shook your head, only then realizing just how tightly you were pressing your thighs together. Minghao snorted and grabbed the wipe from the sink so that he could clean up all the hot water you had managed to spill on the counter, too lost in thought to realize that you had already poured yourself more than enough.
“It’s fine, this happens to me sometimes, too,” he hummed and dried the wipe before placing it on top of the faucet.
I bet it’s not because you’re too busy listening to your friend masturbating, though, you thought to yourself and held back a moan as the mental image took over your mind again, the image of Junhui fucking into his fist all too realistic in all its desperation. Collecting yourself, you put a smile on your face and nodded. “At least I didn’t make a bigger mess, I guess.”
“Yeah,” Minghao smiled and got himself a cup, too, filling it with some water from the kettle.
You got yourself some tea and tried to move your thoughts away from Junhui, as difficult as it was when the noises still continued coming from the bathroom for a few more minutes.
Minghao seemed to pick up on what was going on in the bathroom, and he shook his head with a quiet chuckle. “At least he had the decency to put the water running.”
“Y-yeah,” you muttered while making your breakfast, and soon carried your plate and cup to the dining table, all too aware of how wet you were with how damp your panties felt. Minghao looked at you with a quirked eyebrow before getting started on his own breakfast.
While the two of you ate, Wonwoo and Mingyu woke up, too - or finally gathered the energy to get out of bed, really - and eventually Junhui returned from the bathroom as well, his cheeks flushed and an innocent smile on his lips. Upon seeing him, you were quick to avert your gaze as your cheeks heated up, and focused on the story Wonwoo was telling instead.
Or at least you tried to focus, because a big part of you was too busy thinking about how lovely it would be for you to lock yourself in the bathroom and masturbate. You were awfully turned on already and it was only morning - knowing that you’d spend the day with four good-looking, shirtless guys, you concluded that the day certainly wouldn’t get any easier for you.
And indeed, it didn’t get any easier for you, and towards the afternoon the burning need of your body got too much for you to handle.
I need a cold shower, you thought to yourself and shook your head. Your body was hot in more ways than one, and you knew you wouldn’t find it in yourself to masturbate, at least yet. Grabbing your towel, you went to the bathroom, only to freeze at the door when you saw Mingyu, completely naked as he reached for his towel from the rack by the shower.
Had you not been awfully turned on and mildly embarrassed, you would’ve been amused at how fast your eyes scanned over his body: you took in his lean muscles, the way his ass curved, abs showed a little, and just when your eyes were on his cock, as sizeable as you had always thought based on the outline in his sweatpants, Mingyu noticed you and shrieked.
“Y/N!” he exclaimed and clumsily got his towel around his waist, and you were quick to shut your eyes.
“I’m sorry!” you blurted, unsure if you wanted to run away more than you wanted to take a better look at Mingyu.
“It’s fine, I was just surprised,” he muttered, his ears bright red. How he was able to keep his cool was beyond him, but in the end he merely scratched his nose, embarrassed. “I’ll… go.”
You nodded, your eyes still closed, and let Mingyu out of the bathroom before getting in in yourself. Once you had locked the door, you were quick to get out of your clothes and under the shower. Turning the cool water on, you let out a sigh and slowly got on the floor.
You had to calm down your hormones, which you figured would’ve been a much easier task if you hadn’t just seen Mingyu naked - as if you didn’t find him awfully attractive already.
“He’s my best friend,” you whispered to yourself, but let one of your hands travel lower on your body regardless, all the way until your fingertips found the pooling wetness between your legs. You bit down on your lower lip when your finger met your swollen clit, and for a fraction of a second you again reminded yourself about your friendship with Mingyu.
However, your body didn’t feel as platonic, and as you let your mind wander to everything you found attractive about Mingyu, as well as Junhui, you began massaging your clit and blindly reached for the water switch to turn it a bit warmer.
Right when you had really gotten into touching yourself with the thought of the two guys, with two of your fingers about to push into yourself, you jolted when there was a knock on the door.
”Y/N, will you still be there for long? I need the toilet.”
Wonwoo’s deep voice went straight between your legs, and you couldn’t help but sigh deeply, defeated, while retreating your fingers from your wet pussy.
“I’ll be right out,” you said, and after a quick moment under the water, which you were quick to turn cold, you grabbed your towel and dried yourself enough to leave, then took your clothes from where you had put them.
Once the door was open, Wonwoo licked his lips slowly as his eyes scanned over your body, only slightly covered by the towel you had around yourself. Too embarrassed about what you had just been doing in the bathroom, as well as about how turned on you still were, you avoided Wonwoo’s eyes and thus completely missed just how hungrily he looked at you.
You rushed to the bedroom to put your clothes on, and soon after that joined Junhui and Minghao in the couch area, where they were playing cards. Minghao turned to look at you with a small, sweet smile on his lips.
“Wanna join?” he asked, and you nodded readily, grabbing a pillow from the couch and placing it on the floor so that you could sit on it.
Junhui dealt you some cards, and you put all of your concentration into the game in hopes of it distracting you from how hungry for touch your body still was. Luckily you were right on that, and you enjoyed the game to the fullest, laughing when Junhui complained about losing or when Minghao, with the cockiest grin, rubbed his win into both of your faces.
Hours passed with you finding everything you could to keep your thoughts away from how badly you needed something inside of you, and towards the evening, with a half-finished painting on his lap and a brush in his hand, Minghao suggested that you’d go swimming. The cold water sounded like exactly what you needed, so you got up from the couch readily.
“I’ll just go get my swimsuit,” you said with a smile and walked to the bedroom door, only to frown when it didn’t open. “What..?”
Mingyu shrieked in the kitchen, and you turned to look at him curiously. “Wonwoo said he wants to be alone for a while, so the door is locked.”
“But wh--” you began, but fell silent when you heard a very obvious grunt from the other side of the door, followed by sounds that couldn’t be anything besides Wonwoo’s hand moving on his cock. You fell silent and your cheeks heated up, and the way your pussy began throbbing with arousal made you walk away from the door.
You slumped down on the couch next to Minghao, who raised his eyebrow while painting.
“...I’ll wait for him to come out,” you muttered and fiddled with the hem of the shirt you were wearing. It wasn’t that you wanted to hear him, you told yourself, but you still found yourself trying to listen to the sounds coming from the bedroom, and were somewhat able to hear it all.
The needy “ah”s, low grunts and even moans that you could faintly hear from the other side of the wall by which you were sitting did everything but calm you down. All you could do was imagine Wonwoo on the bed, watching something from his phone while stroking himself hard and fast, using both his pre-cum and Junhui’s lotion as lubrication…
Letting out a shaky sigh, you crossed your legs in an attempt to somehow make yourself feel more at ease, although it was in vain. You were turned on and could hardly move your thoughts to anything besides your friend masturbating and just how badly you wanted to be fucked hard into the mattress.
Only Minghao’s voice brought you back from the endless cycle of lewd thoughts.
“I hope he’s done soon, it’s so hot here,” he said gently and fanned himself with his hand while his skin glistened with a thin layer of sweat.
Indeed, it had been one very hot day, which had only made it more difficult for you to control your needs. You knew you’d have to masturbate, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to bear it nor take responsibility over your actions.
“We’ll get to swim soon, I’m sure,” you hummed and smiled at Minghao, who then put his work-in-progress away and got his phone out instead so that he could show you his latest works.
Ten or so minutes later you finally heard the lock of the bedroom door click, and soon Wonwoo appeared by the couches. His face was flushed, but he tried to appear as casual and proper as he possibly could. “So, swimming?”
“Finally,” Minghao groaned, and while he stood up, you were quick to go to the bedroom to find your swimsuit.
You closed the bedroom door and quickly changed into the bikini you had taken with you. On the other side of the door, you could hear Jun’s voice.
”You didn’t use all of my lotion, did you?”
Biting down on your lower lip, you pushed away the thoughts of your best friends with their dicks in their hands, and soon got out of the bedroom, holding your towel in your arms. “Ready to go?”
Minghao nodded eagerly, and Wonwoo gave you a small smile, too. With that, the three of you began walking to the beach; Mingyu didn’t feel like swimming and Junhui wanted to take a walk in the forest instead.
Once by the sea, you and Minghao put your towels down and he got his loose tank top and shorts off, which left him in his swimming trunks. Wonwoo took his shirt off, too, only leaving his swimming shorts on.
While you and Wonwoo were slow with your steps into the water, Minghao seemed to be braver and much less phased by the coolness of it and wasted no time in diving in with a wide smile. You shivered.
“How can you even,” you mumbled, forcing yourself to take steps further into the water despite the coldness. If you had thought that the scorching sun would’ve made it any easier, you were wrong.
“You just need to do it fast,” Minghao grinned and swam a bit further away, then swept his hair back.
Wonwoo looked a bit sour, and in the end he shook his head with a smile on his lips. “Yeah, as I thought, I really don’t want to do this.”
“You can watch us,” you suggested playfully, and Wonwoo gave you a nod before returning to the shore and taking a seat on the big rock that your towels were on.
While you continued trying to walk further into the water, Wonwoo got comfortable on the rock and shamelessly looked at your figure while getting his lower lip between his teeth.
You shivered as you proceeded in the water, and Minghao laughed at you and splashed some water in your direction. Shrieking, you threw a glare at him.
“Stop, I’m freezing,” you complained and splashed some water at him, too, although it was in vain as he was already in water up to his neck.
“I can see that,” he snorted and took a deep breath when he focused on how your body looked with nothing but a bikini on. Once his eyes saw the outlines of your nipples, erect from the cold, he couldn’t help but swallow hard and try to move his thoughts somewhere more appropriate.
You took a deep breath as you braced yourself for what was to come, and after counting to three in your mind, you finally lowered yourself into the water with a wince on your face.
From the shore, Wonwoo clapped. “Good job, Y/N!”
“Thanks!” you replied, hardly able not to shiver, and looked at Minghao, who was swimming a bit further. “Hao, wait up!”
He turned to you with a small smile on his face, trying his best to hide the fact that he was getting hard and his mind was filled with thoughts of you in your bikini and how amazing you’d look sprawled on a bed. As his mind went there again, he hissed under his breath.
Minghao needed release, and he needed it fast.
“Is everything okay?” you asked when you had gotten up to him, and Minghao blinked and nodded readily.
“Y-yeah, I just remembered something dumb I did last week,” he said hurriedly and shied a bit further from you when you were almost touching him.
“Ah, hate when that happens,” you grinned and quirked your eyebrow. “So, what did you do last week?”
“Oh, I…” he began, his mind rushing as he tried to come up with something realistic while his train of thought was regularly distracted by how badly his cock needed some attention. “...I just fell for a prank that Jeonghan pulled on me, and I don’t understand how I didn’t realize that it was just a joke.”
You tilted your head a little, but knowing how Jeonghan could be, you giggled. “He’s back at it, huh?”
With a wave of relief coursing through him, Minghao nodded. “Yep, worse than ever.”
The two of you swam for a while, enjoying the way the water had started to feel warm around yourselves, and turned to the shore when you heard Wonwoo’s voice.
“Guys, I’m heading back to the cottage, so I’ll see you there!”
“Okay!” the two of you exclaimed in unison and laughed afterwards. You grinned to yourself and swam behind Minghao so that you could wrap your arms around his neck and get on his back.
“I think we should go, too, and you’ve got the honor of bringing me to--”
You fell silent when you were about to hook your ankles somewhere in front of Minghao, who just stood there, frozen and ready to face the most intense mortification of his life, as you could feel something hard against your ankles.
The quiet grunt that Minghao let out at the touch told you what you already knew: he was hard, and you had just managed to touch his erection.
“...I’m so sorry,” you whispered and pulled off him, your cheeks heating up in record time, not only because you were embarrassed but also because you could feel your own arousal make itself known again, too.
He’s my best friend, I shouldn’t… be feeling this way, you thought to yourself, only to feel your nipples get uncomfortably hard and your pussy pulsate a little with need.
“It’s okay,” Minghao finally managed to mumble, his cheeks and ears about as red as tomatoes, and he turned to you but avoided eye contact. “It’s just… I can’t control it, and… yeah.”
When you spoke next, you could hardly recognize your voice or the words that came out.
“I can help you when we’re on the shore, if you’d like?”
Minghao’s eyes widened, but he was unable to hide how badly he needed it as he just nodded.
With that, the two of you hurriedly half swam and half walked to the shore and sat down on the large rock that your towels were on. Minghao was breathing heavily and his heart was beating just as fast as yours was.
Licking your lips slowly, you looked at him, trying to fish for eye contact, after which you lowered your gaze to his crotch, where his erection was clearly straining in his tight swimming trunks. “So… May I?”
Swallowing hard, Minghao nodded and leaned back a little, supporting himself with his hands. Slowly, you moved your hand to his crotch and felt up his cock through his swimwear, and got a quiet moan from Minghao.
“You’re so hard…” you whispered almost dreamily and pulled his swimwear down a little, biting down on your lower lip at the sight of his cock, hard and veiny with a bead of pre-cum on the tip. “Fuck…”
Still trying to hold himself back a little, Minghao was somewhat able to form a coherent sentence. “Are you… are you sure about… this?”
You froze for a second, but as the heat in the pit of your stomach only continued growing, you nodded almost determinedly. “Just think of this as a friend helping out a friend.”
“Okay,” Minghao breathed and shut his eyes when you pushed his swimming trunks down a little and took his cock into your hand and, after you had spread the pre-cum around a little, began stroking him slowly. He moaned quietly, and his toes curled from the ecstacy caused by your hand around his length.
It was all too hot for you, so you pressed your thighs together in a futile attempt to distract yourself a little from your own arousal. It almost scared you how badly you wanted to just sink down on the cock in your hand, and you found yourself thinking about how Minghao was your best friend - although there was also a second voice in your mind saying how you could be different kind of best friends.
Regardless, you stroked Minghao steadily, thumbing his slit every now and then, and merely ate up his body with your eyes. He was fairly skinny, so you weren’t too surprised when you saw the somewhat toned abs that had your breath hitching in your throat a little, and the way his hips were starting to buck up into your first drove you even further into your own lust.
Minghao forced his eyes open as he remembered what had gotten him so worked up in the first place, and bit down on his lower lip when he began moving his eyes up and down on your body. Your nipples were still - or again - erect and showed clearly through your bikini top, much like your cleavage in general.
You were too focused on jacking him off and thinking about what he must be like in bed to notice his hand moving, and only came back to the reality when you felt Minghao’s hand cupping your breast.
“Is this okay?” he asked rushedly, his eyes glassy as he looked at your chest, his hand just resting on your breast while he waited for your reaction. Rather than giving him a verbal reply, you leaned into his touch and bit back a moan when he slipped his hand into your top and began playing with your breast.
“Hao,” you breathed and started stroking him faster, both loving and hating the way his touch made you burn all the more, and not much later he was desperately bucking up into your fist as he released over your fingers.
Minghao panted heavily, his face flushed, and he pulled his hand away from you.
With a small smile on your lips, you retreated your hand from his length and licked away his cum - the way he looked at you with both shock and hunger evident in his eyes all too delicious for you to ignore.
“I… that’s the best favor I’ve ever received,” he said after a moment of silence with a lopsided grin on his face. You looked at him cheekily, at which Minghao chuckled. “What do I owe you?”
While you didn’t have anything specific in your mind just yet, the question made your mind run to all kinds of directions. You patted Minghao’s thigh before standing up. “I’ll let you know when the time comes.”
He quirked his eyebrow and looked at you while you took your towel and wrapped it around your shoulders before starting to walk to the cottage, your hips swaying just a bit more exaggeratedly than they normally would. Minghao sighed and tore his eyes away from your figure: he’d have to cool down before returning to the cottage, too, preferably without another boner to worry about.

Chapter 2 – Ea, the Sword of Rupture
Read the prologue here.
Read chapter one here.
Read on AO3.
@bl-gifs , @andwebegin there you are.
“Detective Lun?” Shen Wei asked as soon as he heard Kun Lun’s tired ‘hello’. Despite knowing it was definitely the detective on the other side of the line, he still had to make sure. “Xiao Wei, as much as I love to hear your voice, isn’t it a bit late for a social call? I know you must have missed me greatly, but.” The archaeologist didn’t waste time and cut the other man off right away. “I might have a lead for you.” He started, so Kun Lun would know that he meant business, and that it was the only reason why Shen Wei was even calling him. “Someone called the museum today. They were trying to sell an artefact to be added to our collection. They didn’t say what it was, but claimed the item to be very valuable and ancient.” He took a deep breath after that, trying to recall as many details as he could. “There’s a chance it could be Ea.” When he finished retelling the information, he gave the detective some time to process his words, and then continued. “I scheduled a meeting with them tomorrow to inspect the artefact and begin negotiation. Would you like to join me?” For his part, Kun Lun was pretty impressed at how fate worked things out. He had been thinking about the case and then boom, the archaeologist called him with a new lead. It could have been any of the other people he had investigated, but it was Shen Wei who came to him with the information. It made him wonder if there was more to it than just what was related to the case. He was not one to entertain such ideas, but he was still irked by the connection he felt to this man.
Noticing how the other male had gone radio silent, Shen Wei cleared his throat lowly to catch his attention. “Detective Lun? Are you there?” The response to his question came in the form of an obviously forced laugh that was meant to pass the impression that everything was fine. He could guess the expression on Kun Lun’s face, a sheepish grin, eyes crinkling and a hand raised, waving his extended forefinger as if to accuse someone of calling him out without actually saying the words. “Is Shen Wei worried about little old me?” The archaeologist could hear the amusement in the other’s voice and it made him narrow his eyes, trying to make sense of the other man. “Are you going to be joining me tomorrow to investigate?” He pressed the issue to stir conversation away from the flirty banter Kun Lun always seemed to bring up whenever they had a conversation. The detective sighed, bobbing his head in a nod. His expression grew even more tired. “When are we going?” He asked, so he could prepare himself and come up with a plan for when they met with the suspect. “Late afternoon. We are coming to their house. Come by the museum around four and wear a suit.” What the detective didn’t know was that Shen Wei had already orchestrated a plan for them to catch the suspect if they turned out to be the culprit. “Xiao Wei…” Kun Lun dragged out his name, lowering his voice in the process. “Do you have a thing for men in suits?” In his office, the archaeologist lowered his gaze, eyes closing as he shook his head. The nerve of this man. He ended up sighing out loud, even if he would have preferred to remain silent. “You’ll pretend to work for the museum like me. I told him we would be sending two people to inspect the item.” He explained, brushing off the detective’s flirting yet once again and quickly added. “I’ll hang up now. I will see you tomorrow, Detective Lun. Sorry for disturbing you so late.” Kun Lun was surprised by the apology and chuckled lightly. “Goodnight, Xiao Wei. Dress nicely tomorrow, you’ll look even more handsome with me.” Shen Wei didn’t there respond to the second part of the other’s words, instead, he just muttered a ‘goodnight’ and hung up the call. He was feeling rather aggravated now.
Sighing, the archaeologist stood up from where he was seated behind his desk and adjusted his glasses against his face. He was pretty tired as well and this conversation with Kun Lun had left in him a strange mix of emotions. To some extent, he was excited to be helping with the case somehow, even if the item turned out not to be the Sword of Rupture, but he was also feeling other things, mostly regarding the detective. He felt a strange sense of longing when speaking to Kun Lun on the phone, as if he would have preferred to be face-to-face with the other man. The detective’s constant flirting made him wonder if the man was like that towards everyone, if this was just with him, or even if he was serious with it. He also felt a little bothered by how much Kun Lun had managed to affect him in the span of twenty-four hours. It had never happened before.
Shaking his head to get rid of those thoughts, he parted his lips to exhale a deep breath. The clock marked half past eleven in the evening. He was supposed to have left three hours ago. Gathering his things, he locked his office, said goodbye to the security guards and left to go home. He would need all the rest he could get in order to face the day ahead of him.

“Is this your house?” Chu asked, glancing at the mansion they had stopped in front of. At first glance, he wouldn’t have expected Guo to be one of those spoiled rich kids with way too much money to spare and no regards for other people’s efforts and struggles. His expression soured up almost immediately. The writer just nodded, turning his head to look at the boxer. He had no idea of what was going on in the older male’s mind. Despite the fact that their car ride had been mostly a silent one, nothing seemed to be wrong between them, which was why he was surprised by the anger in Shu Zhi’s voice when he talked to him again. “You can get out now.” Changcheng was hit by a sudden wave of sadness. He didn’t expect that kind of behaviour from Chu. He was about to ask the boxer what was wrong when someone knocked on the car’s window. Rolling it down, Guo noticed that it was his uncle on the other side of the glass, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. “Why didn’t you pick up your phone? I have been calling you for hours. I was about to send a search party after you.” He scolded, tempted to grab his nephew by the ear. Then, all of sudden his expression and tone both changed. He lowered his head and looked at the man driving the car. “Who is that? Your boyfriend? You could have told me you were seeing someone. I wouldn’t be so worried if you had told me. Come outside and get him in, let me meet him.” Before either of them could say anything, the writer’s uncle walked back into the house, forcing him to quickly get out of the car and move to the door of the driver’s side. He didn’t expect Chu to be opening it without needing any coaxing from Guo to join him inside. “M-My uncle is a bit protective.” He explained, looking up at the boxer apologetically. He was met with no response.
The only reason why Shu Zhi was agreeing to this whole thing without an argument was to see whether the assumptions he had made about Changcheng were correct. He had a bit of a habit of jumping into conclusions when dealing with new people and not giving them a chance to show themselves for who they were. Waiting for Guo to lead the way, he followed from close behind, keeping himself quiet until they reached the entrance room, which was already bigger than his entire house and decorated like the bedroom of a King in movies. He sat by the writer’s side, but left a little distance between them. The boxer could feel the other’s uncle observing him in scrutiny, probably because of the scrapes on his face. “Where did you two meet?” The silence was broken by the eldest one’s question. “Honestly I never thought Changcheng would find someone so soon. He has never seemed in anything other than books, I was starting to think he was a monk.” Chu wondered if Guo was going, to tell the truth to his uncle, or if he would just go along and pretend that they were actually dating. Usually, Shu Zhi would refute right away, but he wanted to know how the writer would proceed. As in on cue, Changcheng stood up, moving to stand by his uncle’s side. His hands were shaking avidly, and it was clear from his face that he was embarrassed by something, either his father figure’s words or the whole misunderstanding. “Uncle, he is not my boyfriend.” The youngest out of them started, lowering his gaze to the ground shyly. “I have just been trying to get him to help me with my book and he gave me a ride home because it was late.” The second part of his speech came rushedly, as if he was afraid of something. Guo’s uncle fixed him with a look that looked suspiciously like disappointment, as if he was staring at a delusional kid chasing hopeless dreams. The boxer didn’t really like that look. “He has some good ideas.” He spoke up, at last, bringing all of the attention to himself. “I think his book will be a bestseller when he is finished.” Honestly, Chu had no idea if Changcheng’s writing was even good, but from the little time he had spent with the boy, he could tell that his social skills were not the best, that he preferred to observe rather than talk and that he was passionate about this. Writing sounded like Guo’s last hope, and Shu Zhi didn’t like the idea of someone looking down on the writer for that.
“Does that mean you are going to be my muse?” Changcheng asked, voice slightly louder and full of surprise, breaking up the trance they had all been in since Chu’s little speech. The boxer resisted the urge to roll his eyes and sigh, and merely nodded at the boy, though his gaze was more focused on the writer’s uncle, waiting to see what his reaction would be. Unexpectedly, the man broke into a huge smile and stood up as well, patting Guo on the back before pointing in the direction of Shu Zhi. “Nephew, you should keep this one.” And then he chuckled, as if everything made complete sense and ruffled the writer’s hair. “I’m going to bed now.” He started and then his gaze fell on Chu. “You should join us tomorrow for dinner. Auntie has already gone to bed, so she couldn’t meet you, but I’m sure she will like you.” The uncle then moved towards the stairs and looked at his nephew once again. “Help him clean those cuts and don’t stay up too late.” There was genuine affection in the man’s words now, a stark contrast from the look he had given Changcheng when he explained the misunderstanding. The boy, for his part, just nodded, and moved back closer to Shu Zhi. He shyly tugged on the boxer’s sleeve as his uncle left the room to urge the man to follow him.

The following day, Shen Wei was on edge the whole day, something that was odd given his personality and steely determination. Everyone at the museum noticed that, and even the students as he explained some of the histories of the objects they had on display for them. It was like his head was somewhere else, which was not far from the truth, but rather than thinking about the meeting with the person trying to sell the artefact, he was thinking about the man that would be accompanying him, Kun Lun. Time seemed to drag on and on, and he was tired of urging the clock to hit the scheduled time of their meeting.
As the clock finally struck twenty to four in the afternoon, the archaeologist excused himself from his duties and proceeded to the staff room to get changed. He had actually bought a new suit before coming in to work and he wanted to try it on before the detective arrived, so he could make sure it looked good on him. The task didn’t take much of his time, and soon enough he was standing in front of the mirror. The man was now dressed in a midnight blue suit piece with thin white stripes, a grain pattern white and dark blue shirt underneath coupled with a midnight blue tie and trousers in the same colour. Even his black shoes were new and shining. “You look handsome, Xiao Wei!” The voice caused the man to quickly spin on his heels to look at the intruder. There, leaning against a wall was Kun Lun, looking stunning in a cream coloured smoking with midnight blue details on top of a white shirt and midnight blue trousers. The sight gave Shen Wei a fuzzy feeling inside his stomach, and he noticed that their outfits matched. It was not always that he was caught /this/ out of guard, but the detective had successfully rendered him speechless.
Once some time had passed and he managed to compose himself, Shen Wei adjusted his glasses, just so he would have something to do before looking at Kun Lun again. There was a blush threatening to spread across his cheeks, but the male fought it as much as he could. “You look good as well, Detective.” He finally said, tugging at the bottom of his suit and walking towards the exit of the staff room. His words earned him a cocky smile from Kun Lun. “Shall we go?” He gestured outside of the room, trying to keep the conversation in the line of work, so he wouldn’t be caught in yet another session of getting flustered over the detective’s incessant flirting. Kun Lun laughed in amusement and then gestured outside as well, eyes locked with the archaeologist’s own. “Lead the way, Xiao Wei.”

Guo took Chu by the hand to lead him to the bathroom, where he made the boxer sit down, so he could rummage around and get the medical kit. Using a piece of cotton soaked in disinfectant, he gently cleaned Shu Zhi wounds, blowing the skin afterwards, so it wouldn’t sting. Thankfully, they were not very big and just scrapes, so he wouldn’t have to give the older man any stitches or anything. After cleaning, he applied some medicinal ointment to speed up the healing process and put a light blue Dragon Ball Z Band-Aid on a particularly bigger scrape on Chu’s jaw. After he was finished, Changcheng smiled boyishly down at Shu Zhi, both hands hidden behind his back as he bowed slightly forward. “It’s done.” It made for an adorable and endearing sight, but the boxer only ruffed in response.
After that, the writer took them to the kitchen, where he grabbed two bowls of fruit salad and poured some yoghurt on top of the cut fruit pieces. He figured that Chu might be hungry after being at the academy for so long and then bringing him home. “Don’t you have adult food?” The boxer asked with that same usual sourness to his voice, which made the boy frown a little sadly, but when he went to get something else for the man to eat, Shu Zhi grabbed his wrist to stop him and just started eating the fruit salad. Guo smiled brightly, as if such a small thing had made him the happiest person in the world. It was rather strange, but Chu found it fitting to the other male’s personality. “What happened to your parents?” The boxer asked after a little while. The question had been nagging at the back of his mind for a little while now. He knew that it could come across as rude and insensible, but he just had to ask. “They died in a car accident.” Changcheng responded in a feeble voice. “My uncle and aunt took me in after they passed and have cared for me since I was little, even though I never did much for them in return.” The writer smiled a bit sadly, but quickly tried to cheer himself up. “But I know they love me very much.” Shu Zhi didn’t respond immediately, he just stared at the other male with an unreadable face and nodded, taking the time to process the information. “I lost my family, too.” He admitted, but didn’t elaborate nor offer any more information, but it seemed like Guo understood, because the writer just pressed a hand to his shoulder and smiled, though Chu could see tears brimming in the corners of his eyes.
“I’m leaving now.” The boxer stated, getting up and moving to exit the kitchen with the other male followed him. The writer took him all the way to his car and when Shu Zhi got in, Guo smiled at him through the window and waved goodbye, though before Chu could leave he hurriedly shouted. “Don’t forget to come tomorrow or my uncle will be upset.” The boxer grunted in response and revved the engine to leave, but he had no intention to bail on them. He threw one last glance at Changcheng and then sped out, driving away from the writer’s home and towards his own.

The address given by the suspect was not very far from the museum and led them to a huge house. Gathered by the door, Shen Wei knocked twice politely and waited for someone to answer them. A maid around their age was the one sent to pick them up and lead them to the vendor’s office. She knocked on the door once to announce her presence and then opened it, scouting both males inside. “Your guests are here, sir.” She bowed forward in respect and then moved to stand by the door. The suspect, Huang Jin greeted them with a warm smile, standing up to shake both males’ hands. “Hello, hello! You’re Mr Shen from the museum, right?” He asked, looking at the archaeologist, whom just smiled politely and nodded before turning towards the detective in disguise. “This is Kun Lun. He is our new recruit at the museum, though he usually works in the field.” As if on cue, Kun Lun raised a hand and waved at Huang Jin, he already had a lollipop in his mouth. The vendor smiled again and then gestured towards the chairs in front of his desk. “Please, sit down. Would you like some water, tea or anything?” Both males shook their heads while following the command and lowering themselves into the designed seats. The maid slipped outside of the office and closed the door behind her to give them some privacy.
Sitting behind the desk once again, Huang Jin propped his elbows onto the wooden surface and intertwined his fingers, leaning forward to look at the duo. His smile was rather forced, as if he thought that looking amicable would make them more likely to buy whatever goods he was selling. “So…” He cleared his throat, even though both Shen Wei and Kun Lun already had their attention on him. “I have some paintings from the Zhou Dynasty, a vase from the Han Dynasty…” The detective cut him off abruptly, leaning forward as well to look straight into Huang Jin’s eyes. “We are not interested in any of that. Where is that valuable and ancient artefact you spoke of on the phone?” The question was delivered in a rather sharp and brusque manner, which earned Kun Lun a subtle elbow to the side that had him retracting as Shen Wei smiled at the vendor apologetically. “My apologies, Mr Huang. Kun Lun here has been curious about this item since we spoke yesterday, so he is a bit eager.” The archaeologist patted his company on the shoulder trying to seem reassuring. The suspect apparently bought that, because he released a boisterous laugh and stood up. “Let me get it for you.” He started, walking towards a corner of the office that was behind a tall shelf. “I actually bought this recently from a Western man, but such an item belongs in the museum…” Both men ignored the rest of Huang Jin’s sentence as they exchanged looks due to the new information. It seemed like Huang Jin was not the culprit, but rather the person he bought it from.
Returning to where he had left them, the vendor settled a large box on the desk and opened its lid. Inside of it, there was an exquisite sword. It had the form of a lance, but without the elongated cable. Its handle was made of pure gold and the blade itself was black with intricate red lines adorning its extension. The crimson colour seemed to vibrate as if it were alive. Shen Wei was stunned at the sight. It was obviously Ea in front of them, but the lingering question was, who was this man that sold it to Huang Jin? The passionate archaeologist inside of him was excited to be seeing such illustrious relic. As Kun Lun questioned the vendor subtly to help with the investigation, Shen Wei reached to touch the sword, but as soon as it made contact with his skin the male jumped back in shock, drawing the attention of the other two men in the room. “Are you alright, Xiao Wei?” The detective asked, hurriedly moving close to his partner in this case and placing a palm upon his shoulder. “What happened?” The archaeologist looked at him, but didn’t say anything right away. His expression was still pretty visibly shocked. “I…”

to a jeepney stranger,
today, i've decided to dedicate this letter to you. you may not be aware of the things that i'm about to tell you and might never be aware since this wasn't addressed correctly, given that we're nothing but strangers. but to tell you, the short jeepney encounter we had this afternoon was something i'm thankful for. let me tell you how i ended up in that jeepney where i sat next to you, soaking wet from the rain. well, i had another 'episode of having a hard time sleeping' and just had a few hours of sleep, but since i'm very unlucky, i woke up earlier than usual and couldn't put myself back to sleep again. I felt the weight of my thoughts surrounding me, so I decided to take myself into an unwinding session by going somewhere unexpected—sailing off the map, to be exact.
the sun was shining the moment i got out of the house, that i didn't bother bringing an umbrella with me and got onto a bus going south. on the other side of my seat was a couple heading to a shopping mall, so when i had to pay, i decided to make it my destination as well. there are a few things that i love the most when going out alone—aside from the idea that I have myself as my own company, there's something about the silence that calms me regardless of the noise of the environment. another is that i have this habit of walking endlessly whenever my head is clouded with thoughts, it felt like i'd be able to leave crumbs of my despair with every step that i'd be making. during the whole ride, i was observing through the window, looking at how the world seemed to be so tiny and simple from this view of mine. i got out of the bus, the wind embraced my whole body with coldness. i cast my gaze on where i should head next, somewhere that would relieve the ache i was feeling. as i scan the whole place, here comes the people chatting back and forth, so I went near a bench—to where i think i've decided to just sit and observe for a while.
i went running some errands that i had no idea existed until i saw it right in front of my eyes and, of course, sat by the national bookstore for hours (i know, a bookworm... you'd say). it felt like i entered my own realm, and all the sadness drifted upon entrance. i did a lot for someone lost in her own tracks, i'd say i topped out at being the most productive one. so, getting back to reality, when i was planning to head out with waffles in both hands; the rain start pouring so, i run as fast as i could in a small shelter to save my waffles from being soaked and ended up eating them in just a few minutes, which wasn't quite satisfying.
as soon as i finished up, i rushedly headed towards the terminal, and luckily, i was able to ride the jeepney—as the last one to fill in the tiny vacant seat where only half my butt could actually fit. that's where i sat next to you, same age, i guess. maybe i was just overthinking it, but your style, along with your grocery bag, appears to be straightforwardly simple. parallel to us were a bunch of teenagers in a group of five, never did i ever imagine how i could see someone's wealth that much in their overall outfit and stuff. it wasn't a necessary observation, not until a child climbed up the jeep and started soliciting from us. i don't mean to generalize, but those teens in front of us laughed and trashed the little envelope handed to them. meanwhile, you were there. gave the child a bread, specifically a spansih bread (not sure if i saw it right) and smiled, saying, 'keep safe'. it might mean nothing to everyone, but that simple act meant a lot to that kid and me, it helped me validate my emotions to the point where i only needed to receive a little kindness in my life once in a while to get a grip of everything and not to get mocked for my downfalls.
you still don't get it do you?
here, "life is simple", pretty sure that thousands of people have used that quote by now and i couldn't agree more. as you can see..
we are born.
raised or not, we still grow.
alone or not, we discover.
good or bad, we meet new people.
cautious or free, we ache.
by choice or not, we die.
however, there's something that we've been blinded to. from every difference that we've been using to compare each other, we end up equal, but we've forgotten how we become unequal in terms of the "means" and 'circumstances' that we have in getting through that certain point.
and as you can see, it doesn't matter to society as it lies in between.

You Too
Hoshi x Reader
Coffee/ College AU
word count: 1,445
fluffy one shot
Masterlist
It happened again.
You could no longer visit the coffee shop you so often frequented for nearly a month. All ruined by one incomplete sentence: “you too”
It was an average late afternoon, and like all other days you headed to the on-campus coffee shop to get your usual fix of caffeine… and of the cute barista. You weren’t a stalker, really, but you did start going to this particular shop only after your friend asked to meet there one day and you saw the adorable squish. As a rather shy person who didn’t often try to start conversation with average strangers- let alone cute servers, it seemed like a better idea to just visit and admire from afar the good looking boy who probably already had an equally good looking girlfriend. His name was Hoshi and his smile was adorable. His bubbly attitude fit the cashier position well as he always greeted customers with a sincere bright expression. Despite really wanting to strike up a conversation with the boy, as most other customers did, you barely squeaked out your order before blushing at looking at your beat up shoes as if they were more interesting than the cute round-cheeked boy in front of you. It went like this most days. And when you told your friend of your small- ish crush she pushed you to take a chance and try to talk to him, after all what was the worst that could happen? Well apparently embarrassing yourself within the first two words you ever said to the boy besides “venti iced mocha” was the worst that could happen.
“And how can I help you?” asked Hoshi brightly.
You spoke your order with a slightly more confident tone. Well at least it was above the normal whisper. Your thoughts were more focused on trying to think of something to say to keep the conversation rolling.
“And your name was y/n right? You come here a lot!” he commented happily. Despite your internal pep talk, you only nodded quickly. Where were all the topics you had thought up while waiting in line?
“y/n? Here’s your coffee” he paused with straight smile and tilted head, looking slightly amused by your surely red face, “I hope you enjoy your coffee!” he rushedly called to you as you turned towards the door.
“You too!” you blurted over your shoulder slightly looking back. It took you .15 seconds to realize just what utter nonsense you had spouted as your eyes rounded in horror and you sped out of the shop at near the speed of light. It wasn’t the first time you had incorrectly responded to someone in customer service, in fact it was more common than not, but none of them had been a cute happy squishy barista like this one. There was no way you could possibly show your face in that coffee shop ever again. For an average late afternoon, your luck sure sucked a little more than usual. Accepting your fate, you went to do the only thing you could think of to make you feel better, and that was to bask in the spring sun with a good book.
It was only when the shadow caused by the setting sun made reading difficult that you started debating whether to just head back inside your dorm for the night. You decided against it because you knew the good weather wouldn’t last long before summer came crashing the party with sweat and sunburns. You would wait until the shadows made it impossible to read. That apparently came a lot faster than you thought when you suddenly found yourself enveloped in a shadow mid-sentence. Somewhat startled by the change in lighting your face jerked up from the pages to have jeaned legs come into your line of sight. Tilting your head further until reaching the face of the person you definitely did not but also really wanted to see.
“You left quickly today, was something the matter?” The direct question caught you slightly off guard but also required a response so you scrambled to form one that was at least more socially acceptable than your earlier reply. “I was just wondering since you usually stay at least to finish your coffee, you seemed in a hurry.” he answered your silence with slightly nervous eyes. Great, now your awkwardness was affecting him too.
“Um, no, I just, um the weather was nice and i really wanted to spend some time enjoying it.”
“Oh,” he seemed slightly relieved by your response, “I get it, I would have loved to join in on the weather if I didn’t have to man the counter” he says with a laugh. After a bit more silence caused by your inability to function like a proper social human being, he asked “What are you reading? Well, I suppose I’m kind of keeping you from reading it now actually.” Another small laugh, this one a little more nervous than the first.
“Oh it’s just one of a series I’ve been reading for a while.” At least this was a topic you could talk about semi comfortably. You continued to give a rundown of the basic premise, not wanting to possibly bore him with the details.
“It sounds interesting, I don’t have a lot of time to read often, but maybe I’ll check that one out.”
“Well you can’t read this one, it’s the third in the series, it wouldn’t make sense, but I can lend you my copy of the first book if you’d like.” you said in a rush. Again your face turned red at noticing what you just said. ‘Of course he didn't mean the exact book you were reading you moron, he meant the series in general!’ Ignoring your internal tirade with a smile, he replied,
“I’d really like that.”
“I could grab it and bring it to the shop tomorrow if you’d like.” you excitedly suggested. Looking around Hoshi replied.
“Or I could walk you to your dorm, it’s kind of dark out since I’ve been holding you hostage by conversation.” For the first time you noticed the sun had been replaced by the moon and night had completely fallen.
“I’d really like that.” you copied his earlier answer. Being a true gentleman, Hoshi walked with you to your dorm, never letting the conversation fall and keeping a friendly distance so as to not accidentally brush your hand while walking beside you. He also waited outside your open door as you went to get him the book you promised. When you handed it off to him, he took it with care and slightly sparkling wide eyes.
“I’ll make sure to take care of it well!” he promised. His assurance left you slightly giggling, something that you seemed to be constantly doing all of the sudden. With a short, but enthusiastic good night Hoshi made his own way back to his dorm leaving you in a happy daze for the rest of the night.
The next day you stood outside the shop debating on whether or not you should go inside. Would you seem obsessed if you came to see and talk to him today as well or would it seem abnormal for you to not visit the shop daily as you used to. Swallowing your worry, and embracing your excitement at the thought of talking to Hoshi again, you opened the door. When it was your turn at the front of the line you were greeted with a wide smile from none other than the cute squish.
“Hi y/n, the usual?”
“You know it.” you replied flushed with the knowledge that he had your order memorized.
“So I started reading the book last night and I’m already hooked, I stayed up late finishing the sixth chapter.” He brought up the book with a grin.
“I’m glad you like it so much, the author’s writing is very addictive.”
“I like it a lot. Maybe we can talk about it more later over a light dinner?” The words came out rushed due to either nervousness or the awareness of the growing line behind you.
“Sure, but how will we meet up?” you tried to ask him while being edged away from the counter.
“Text me!” he yelled as he pointed to a pantomimed coffee cup. Looking at your coffee cup you saw a phone number written on the side next to Hoshi’s name. Glancing back at him you gave him a thumbs up before leaving the shop. You left earlier than normal that day too but that was because you had to figure out what to wear for your first date.
