“Oh fuck off already,” you mumble under your breath when another error lights up your computer screen. “Why won’t you work with me, you stupid, little-...” You’ve been trying to edit a little home video for Ashton on your laptop, and nothing works the way it’s supposed to. You’ve been staying at Ashton’s the past couple of days, taking care of his plants, cleaning his apartment and stocking his fridge in case he came home from tour earlier than planned. That’s why you’ve been hunched over the small computer, muttering curses under your breath when the screen freezes again when you want to make the tiniest change. After a day of yelling and pacing through the apartment, waiting for the effects to render, you finally thought everything was done and ready to export. 

“What do you mean ‘can’t play the video’?! Don’t be so fucking annoying and just play the dam thing.” You yell at your computer, frantically pressing down on the trackpad, trying to get the video to play. “Oh just bite me, you stupid thing.” You grit your teeth and briefly close your eyes as you let your head drop down in your hands. 

“If you insist.” The voice of the man you’ve been missing for weeks startles you, causing you to grab the empty bottle of wine next to you, ready to throw the thing at some creep's face. “The fuck?!” You exclaim when you realize it’s not some burglar but, in fact, your boyfriend who’s been leaning against the doorpost. “When the fuck did you get home?!” You blink a couple of times in confusion, wondering if it’s really him standing in front of you.

“I’ve missed you too, baby.” Ashton laughs sarcastically as he drops his luggage. His eyes wander over your body, taking in every inch of you he missed and finally rests his gaze on the wine bottle you’re still holding. “And what were you planning on doing with that.” He laughs as he walks closer to you. “I..” you stutter and you look at the green object you’re still holding. “I, don’t know, to be honest. I thought you were some sort of creep?” You place the bottle back on the kitchen counter and quickly jump off of the barstool you’ve been sitting on, finally throwing your arms around the neck of the man you had to miss for months.

“Let’s start this thing over, okay?” You mumble against the skin of his neck, his laugh vibrates against your lips. “Okay,” he whispers in your hair as he continues to hold the back of your head as close as possible, his other hand stroking your lower back.

“Hey baby,” your voice is soft, barely a whisper as you nuzzle against his chest, breathing in his intoxicating fragrance. “Welcome home, I’ve missed you.” Your lips meet his, starting off soft and slow but quickly deepening, becoming more needy and sloppy. His fingers run up and down your body, touching, caressing everything his fingertips meet, making up for the lost time. 

“Fuck...” the two of you pant as the kiss comes to an end, his forehead leans against yours, a smile tugs on your lips as he plants little kisses on the tip of your nose. “So,” a cheeky smile appears on Ashton’s lips, “Is the offer still on the table?” His voice is breathy and husk, his tongue wets his lips as he looks at you, his eyes full with excitement and anticipation. Your eyebrows knot in confusion, “What offer?” you ask, trying to read his eyes. “For me to bite you.” the man breathes before returning his lips to yours, picking you up and bringing you with him to his bedroom.
