Just with the status of the tag here on Tumblr, Hamilton fans are already talking shit about Russell

I. SWEAR. and I'm SO OVER IT. The thing is, it's never a WHOLE fanbase. It's always just weirdos, really young fans or fans who have parasocial relationships.

However, recently, I've seen such an influx of these types of fans in f1 (for literally any driver), and it just makes me wonder: do u even genuinely understand/ enjoy this sport? I'll see it with lewis fans on george, george fans on lewis, charles fans on carlos, carlos fans on charles, lando and danny fans on literally anyone and everyone(to clarify, not ALL fans jist SOME).

And it just makes me SO FKN MAD. Like?? I get hating/ raging on drivers/teams during races, but in NO WAY, should that be transferred off-track. No fan should be out there creating posts detailing how much they despise a driver based on one little incident on track. That's just you not acknowledging that this is how f1 WORKS. THESE THINGS HAPPEN SOMETIMES.

And to have an actual grudge against someone who doesn't even know you exist is WILD to me (especially if they're generally a nice person). Like, I'd get it if ur just calling a driver out based on smthng wrong they've done (e.g. lando, danny, etc) or hate on them bc they're actually a bad person (Nikita Mazepin), but sending threats to them just because of an on-track moment??? Yeah, some fans need to get a life.
