Garak and Julian find a good moisturizer for scales and skin that both can use, and when they go out together somewhere (especially if they’re on Cardassia) Julian doesn’t need to carry his small squeeze bottle of it, because Garak is gonna have a nice medium sized one in his bag/pocket where it perfectly fits. So at any point Julian is just “Love, can I get some moisturizer?” And Garak will happily supply because it’s a love language for Cardassians to help groom their mate. Also too, when Julian does have his own bottle on hand and they’re in a place where it won’t bring attention to them, he’ll squeeze a bit out on his hand and lovingly smooth over any dry spots of scales on Garak (who just appreciates being taken cared of and groomed by his beloved who wants Garak to look and feel his best).

I’ve been on vacation at the beach, and instead of buying a souvenir t-shirt (I have plenty of those), I found a shop with 2 floors of used books, tchotchkes/sundries ranging from cameras to fur hats to fancy coffee appliances to toys to jewelry, and coffee and baked goods. In addition to buying 2 books, a bag of coffee, and a brownie, I bought a tiara, which is way better than a t-shirt.

Also, my earrings are from @lizardkingeliot (I know you can’t see them in detail, but they’re very cool).

having a medical condition that makes me 10x more likely to develop skin cancer than the avg person as well as several kinds of photosensitive eczema = i can't go outside wearing short sleeves or shorts ever at risk of my skin exploding in rashes and i have to wear sunscreen on my face and hands whenever i go outside so i'm v familiar with sunscreen and which ones feel and smell like shit and which ones actually work because if im wearing one that Doesn't Work i experience the consequences immediately lol. aerosol sunscreens are useless just use regular liquid sunscreen

ngl i hate the idea that so called feminine men or men who are pretty and like makeup and stuff are automatically gay in peoples' mind. like that says nothing about their sexuality (or gender), i am so tired of these stereotypes. as someone who dated feminine men (who were bisexual same as me, but that's not even important here) or femme presenting people i heard this so many times...This is what is stopping men from experimenting with "feminine" stuff, hobbies, clothes etc. People are so complex; we do not need to put labels on every little shit. Also, every time a famous person who was not dressing masculine or not acting masculine (again i hate saying feminine and masculine as a generalisation but you get it) comes out as gay/bi or says they feel like they are non-binary there's alwaaaaays people who are like "oh, we already knew hhahahaah" (especially straight women that date men who don't wash their ass because that's "gay"). Like no you didn't know shit. There's just many of us out there and you looooove imposing these stereotypes on LGBTQ+ ppl to uphold your heterosexual "superiority". Like ma'am just date smelly men in peace...I know so many women who say they would not date a bisexual man. (remember the YT video "what would be worse? your man cheating on you or him coming out as bisexual?" and most women said them being bisexual would be worse....) LMAO why?! Makes no sense to me. Alsooooo...don't get me started on the stigma on str8 couples where the woman pegs the man. People love calling the man gay. Not to be a skincare girlie on main but I have been trying all freaking summer to find moisturizer/sunscreen for my face that work and don’t make me look bright red and shiny and I’ve bought so many products that I don’t like….anyway today I bought Clinique moisture surge and my skin feels great, soft and moisturized without looking greasy and inflamed. Why do I ever try anything else.
