Yesssssss guess who just learned how to swap usb cords between mice tonight? That's right mate, we are unstoppable now. So you go ahead and discontinue the best mouse ever fucking made, Logitech, that's fine; I'm just going to ship-of-theseus my babies forever and you can't stop me.

Accidentally damaged half the files in my usb stick, I am currently banging my head against the wall.
Why is keeping digital files so hard.
#one would think that since i grew in a house with a computer i should know that I have to disconnect the usb stick before pulling it out.#and instead once in a while I just forget to do it#till I fuck up another usb stick and lose things#i genuinely just... can't understand how people manage to preserve their stuff those days

ive literally only had this laptop for a year and a half and im already having problems with it are you JOKINGGG
#my mouse and keyboard keep disconnecting and w/ my desk setup it's a real pain in the ass to use my built in keyboard + trackpad#what's weird is the mouse is bluetooth and the keyboard is usb-a so like. both are having problems? but not usb-c#my bluetooth earbuds are connected juuuust fine though#this only started happening after new years. weirdly enough

Dude, that's so scuffed. What system integrator did you buy that from? Why did nobody notice or try to validate that the PORTS WORKED before they sent it out??? Why is there adhesive residue on the I/O shield?
One would have to remove the back panel I/O shield so you could use the ports. That involves removing the motherboard which means unplugging most everything attached to it and unscrewing it and then putting it back together again. And THEN the back is just open and stuff.
Definitely contact their support to get a replacement or a refund. That's not acceptable.
Get free to reach out if you have questions. I know the computer things.
Also update on pc: I may have to send it back *anyway* because all of the ports on the back came misaligned and I cannot use a single port on the back, the only ones usable are the hdmi and two USB in the front
I'm a Laptop user mainly so I have no idea how to fix this :( but I am currently talking to friend about helping me with it before it goes back in the box
#reminds me of a time my friend bought a prebuilt from what was supposed to be a good well known SI and it wouldn't even boot#it just bluescreened every time windows loaded.#HOW DO YOU NOT TEST TO SEE IF IT BOOTS#The culprit was a cheap 5 dollar usb wifi adapter hidden inside the case. I hope he didn't pay for that as an option#it didn't have the drivers installed and it was so crap that that made it instantly crash the entire computer.#disconnecting it and installing the drivers over wethernet worked#he could of asked me to help him build a computer or at least have me help pick out a machine that didn't rip him off#too#that was like my thing being the computer guy#anyways yeah prebuilt computers often have problems

hmmm should i buy rdr2…. i was gonna pirate it a while back but my hard drive disconnected while it was torrenting which i think fucked up the files and i haven’t tried again since BUT it’s on sale rn and i have a steam gift card but i don’t usually like to buy games unless i know i’ll like them, hence why i wanted to pirate it first
