Met up with this US Lacrosse Hall of Famer for the first time in almost 10 years and the person whom I coached with back at Poly Prep in Brooklyn, NY. Brooks Sweet was an All-American at UMass and a member of Team USA at the 1982 World Games of Lacrosse. At the Championship against Australia, he scored a record of 7 goals, helping team USA win the gold medal. When I just started The Art of Lax, he was pretty much the most famous player I knew on a personal basis and drew an early piece of him. Prior to his induction to the US Lax HOF I was asked by US Lacrosse to write his HOF article. The road in life is long. Travel well. #BrooksSweet #USALacrosse #HOF #ForArtForLax (at JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes) https://www.instagram.com/p/BylWhxgBOvi/?igshid=1f08nbv8oiy9o
