I was looking at an IBC 2010 poster marveling at all the amazing dancers, when an older woman came up to me and asked "are you looking at the technique? Come with me let me show you something." We walked over to this poster. "Look at there faces." She told me "this is the difference between gold metal and Grand Prix." Before she left me she pointed to her heart and said "dance comes from in here." #usaibc #dancejackson

Competition Entry

It's official! My videos and headshot are in. Now it's up to the judges. I received really good feedback on the videos of my two variations from my coach and best friend. Both help me keep in mind that even though entry videos should demonstrate performance quality, they are just rehearsal videos to show what is possible. I am happy with my progress and continual growth. I know I can and will grow so much more over the next few months before I leave for the actual competition. I look forward to prepping my next two variations that I will dance along with the first two, on stage at #USAIBC!
