Moth, I love you so much! Your portrayal of Byakuran has given my Sho so much life. I love hearing people get excited about their muses like you do. I love just chilling on discord and listening to the headcanons you have and discussing things without any pressure or strain, you're so easy to plot with and it makes things so much easier.

I could spend all night just chatting with you and listening to you get engaged in your headcanons and world building and hearing the differences in how you see Byakuran from canon. It's so cool hearing the different headcanons you come up with. The dash comm tonight had me laughing into tears at the fashion crimes comments. Seeing his interactions with Haru is different as we saw canonically she didn't really interact with him, it was the guys because of -motions to everything going on TYL- I also love that you understand Byakuran and that the smile is a lie and in 2 seconds flat he can go straight to kill mode depending on the setting and verse. I like that you also have Shioryuu too as some of the box animals can play a part in the plot too, Uri isn't thrilled to see him but I am lol.

Another thing I love is that you want to acknowledge his wrongs and fix it, as we mentioned, there is a lot that needs fixed between him and Shoichi before they can have a stable relationship otherwise it's toxic and basically forced by Stockholm syndrome. You don't know how many times I've seen this ship portrayed as toxic in fics and it made me want to cry. I am so happy you agreed that they both need to heal first and Sho needs to acknowledge that Byakuran did actually do wrong and hurt him and not be so quick and easy to forgive. You are acknowledging that yes you write a villain, and not all of them get their redemption arc so quickly. And that's my favorite thing about your portrayal, you're making him more realistic by acknowledging his wrongdoings and not just glossing them over easily.

Could say more but I'm gonna cut it here and just say that I love your portrayal and enjoy talking with you as a friend too and hope to write more with you for a long time!

🔵 -- 'MY OPINION ON...' meme . ACCEPTING

my opinion on;

CHARACTER IN GENERAL. I like Vegeta; but my relationship with him as a character in the canon is a bit complicated by the fact that, at various points throughout the series, I like him more for what I think he could or, in my opinion, should have been rather than what he actually was. I feel like he's given an awful lot of chances and faith by other characters which, quite frankly, I don't think he's strictly done the work to deserve. (Which could be an interesting incongruity to explore at greater depth. Unfortunately though, it often doesn't pan out that way, at least to my eyes.) He's pretty Not Great in a lot of ways, which, honestly, is what I actually like about him. I think it's interesting for him and those around him to have to wrestle with that reality; but then a lot of times it feels like he gets granted a weird amount of slack for those significant ongoing flaws, and it's like...why? He's at his best when he kind of Sucks in ways that have actual consequences for and effects on both himself and those around him.

HOW THEY PLAY THEM. You do a good and very conscious job of maintaining/highlighting Vegeta's antisocial tendencies while simultaneously leaning into traits and little situational manipulations that ensure it's possible for people's characters to interact meaningfully with him, despite him being the way he is in general. Those interactions might not be light-hearted or easy to navigate, mind you, but they are interactions, and they do have weight. I'm sure you've experienced for yourself before just how frustrating it can be when you're trying to interact with a 'withdrawn, surly loner' kind of character, but the writer isn't doing any of the legwork to help make the character accessible in a way that still feels on-point and natural for them. It's an incredibly irritating position to find yourself in, so I appreciate the effort you put into making sure that people have ample openings for interacting with Vegeta, while still allowing him to be the rude, violent, mercurial piece of work he is.

THE WRITER. We haven't necessarily talked a great deal yet, but already I appreciate how able and willing you are to come to the table with your own thoughts and ideas in hand, in terms of both IC and OOC interactions. (Like, some people simply can not hold up their end of the conversation. You don't suffer from that particular affliction; and by god, I adore you for it already.) You also draw a clear distinction between Vegeta's personality and your own, and don't at all come across as unwelcoming or standoffish yourself despite playing such a famously prickly character.

FOLLOW THEM. Yes. RP WITH THEM. Slowly but surely. WANT TO RP WITH THEM. Of course.

SHIP THEIR CHARACTER WITH MINE. As is my long-standing and glorious custom, I'm going to preface this answer with the understanding that I pretty much always need to see how characters actually interact with each other before I can say with any confidence whether or not a ship might be interesting or feasible to try out.

With that aside, I'll say right up front that I really don't anticipate that Seventeen or Vegeta will be each other's 'types'. I'm open to surprises, as always, but my kneejerk impression is that they won't be drawn to each other in those particular ways. However, I’ll also say that, if they do indeed end up sort of Weirdly Getting Along in the way we’ve talked about some, then I could see Seventeen being willing to casually fool around with Vegeta anyway without feeling the need to make a big ol' deal out of it, if Vegeta turned out to be down to clown. (Please note how much heavy lifting the word ‘if’ is doing in that sentence.)

i think we have followed one another enough FOR YEARS throughout TVD and other blogs to have earned this, because I think, you, Jennifer, you are one of the bright spots on the TVD rp community, you bring Hope to such care and light but also a dedication to the fandom, with your rpc help blog and graphics and making icons, you are just one of my favorite people in the community and everytime I come back after a hiatus you are there to greet me back and I wouldn't be happier. I know the community has gone a bit downhill for a while but I'm happy you work so hard for everyone to keep it together. And what can I say about your writing? It's wonderful, you bring depth and cohesive narrative to Hope that the writers would never dream of and I couldn't be happier to have you on my dash.

/Splatterlewis!! one of my top favorite Lewis muses. I don’t really do like-- rankings because each interpretation of a character is different and interesting in its own right, but he’s definitely at the top of the list of enjoyable muses i’ve interacted with. I love how he’s written so so much. He’s so conflicted and he struggles with a darkness and hating himself for it and I just adore his struggles and how he’s changed over the years and grown and the person he’d developed into. He feels real and interesting and well-rounded and every time i get to rp or interact with him, like bluescarf I just-- vibrate (internal Arthur also does the brain machine brr noise whenever I see  him on my dash lol)

The mun is also incredibly kind. They are smart, clever, passionate, and have interesting stories and have such detailed worldbuilding it leaves me in awe. I really love listening to them talk about their different muses and talking or rping out thoughts or ideas and I love when we get to do something bigger, especially with others like bluescarf and stuff. it’s clear how much they love and enjoy the muses they make and I love the chance to even for a minute interact with the worlds and characters they build and create. 

The mun is also funny and sweet and cares about their friends. I’m lucky to know them and be able to talk to or even just listen to them and I adore them and am fortunate to call them a friend. it’s also endearing how they get when I do something nice for them, which only incentivizes me lol because there’s nothing like hearing how much someone loves something you did or how much it means and they do an excellent job at that

(or maybe it has been a year already who knows-)

if i remember correctly, it was through sparky’s blog that got you to find mine, and again me being the silly baby i was, found you intimidating too. but i adored you back then too; i wasn’t interacting with too many people. so when we started interacting with both the normal and pregame children, it didn’t take long for us to become friends, especially since you were on the discord server!

Do I Follow Them?:  pssh do i follow them hell yeah i do and i’ve been on this feels train for like eight years now Why Did I Follow Them?:  unabashed loyalty tbh i followed way back when i wrote morgan/a from bbm and darks wrote igraine. i was a scared bean to approach and ask to interact esp since i was a sideblog back then,  but it’s been a gr9 ride ever since and i will literally follow any blog darks puts up even if i know nothing about it (dune? hadn’t even heard of it until darks and now i’m super into the lore) Do We Role Play?:  absolutely we do i’m also lmao because we inevitably end up shipping because the chemistry ooc translates to ic so well. our characters have given me some of the most amazing non-canon ships ever (harmonia/hades owns my soul to this day,  maria/riff decimate me,  don’t get me started on tristan/esyllt or wanda/clark, etc etc) Do I Want To Role Play With Them:  i’m greedy give me all the things An AU Idea For Our Muses:  for a new combination of characters like we were discussing earlier after the plotting call,  imagine the motoe plot was pushed up into the wss timeline so helena is going through all that (either growing up in new york with sonia/john or post plot with rudolph) and gets to know any one of the wss babes A Song For Our Muses: for maria/riff i set work song by hozier here Do I Ship Our Muses?:  every single time What I Think About The Mun:  darks my love, my everything, my ride or die.  if anyone was going to drag me out of permanent hiatus it was you and i’m so glad you did.  i left the community after it left a sour taste in my mouth & this has been an overwhelmingly positive experience.  i can’t believe i’ve known you for years and that you only live like two states over ??  name a more iconic duo than us,  i’ll wait.
