One of my favorite shows for a number of reasons... me and my talented guys and girls had an insane amount of album material to learn before this particular show. There were endless creative and technical details to work out and high obstacles to overcome. My people all stayed down and dedicated to the project. It was a major success. Over 300 tickets sold as an opening local act performing previously unreleased material. Crowd was hype. Me and my Urban Rock Project peoples had a blast. DJ Climax was on 🔥 @partywithclimax ... my friends at @shofilmscinema and @jadomedia Captured the energy. This marked the beginning of the Breath by Breath album era. Special thanks to everybody in the crowd who came out to show love that night. 🎶🏃🏼The Born To Run studio sessions: featuring DJ CLIMAX @partywithclimax ... My lil bro slayed the turntables on this record and helped solidify the Urban Rock signature sound. He’s actually scratching my vocal, not a sample, over our original drums played in the studio by @adtomasello17 . We were able to recreate elements of Springsteen’s classic using all original performances. Recently unearthed some videos documenting the recording process for my song “Born to Run.” All of this fantastic behind the scenes footage of each musician in my band, The Urban Rock Project, laying down their parts... However, multiple unexpected appearances from my baby boy, Ozzi, when he was only a few months old at the most, easily steals the whole show... every time. Felt like @officialslystallone in this music video for Round and Round (from my Breath by Breath album). I’ve always been a huge fan of the Rocky franchise, and filming this video was a bucket list check mark. The song and video is about staying persistent, especially when the obstacles feel much stronger than you. Get off the ropes and take control 🥊 🥊 . Special thanks to: @realdealpgh for hopping on the track for the additional heat, and to heavyweight professional fighter @edwardlatimore for sharing your time and keeping this video 100% authentic.
