Your voice...
🔞 Uraume getting off watching you and Sukuna having sex
I don't know what got into me, I get up with the URGE to write something about Uraume fantasizing about Sukuna's lover (fem!reader) and touching themselves while they are listening/watching them fucking so here we are I guess.
Content: smut 🔞, fem reader, voyeurism, masturbation (tried to keep Uraume gender neutral), rough sex, dirty talk, dub con (sex itself is consensual, but Uraume watches without permission.)
You were screaming so loud today. Uraume should have been used to it by now: Sukuna was always shameless, taking you anywhere anytime whenever he fancied, and he fancied a lot. Usually they would go by their day minding their own business, but lately they have been obsessed by the sound of your moans.
They didn’t know when it started exactly.
When they started paying active attention to the way you were whimpering in pleasure.
When they started to imagine how your face looked when you were fucked so roughly.
When they started to wish they could make you scream in ecstasy while they kiss your whole body.
Uraume leaned against the hallway wall, breathing deeply to calm their nerves. Their body felt so hot, so needy. They knew it was wrong, but was it their fault if once again you were fucking in the middle of the living room? Was it their fault if the squelching sound of your dripping pussy was so freaking loud and they could hear it beneath the noises of your skin slapping lustfully each time Sukuna pounded you?
- Oh fuck Kuna, you are so deep, fuck
You whined more lasciviously than usual, and your following groan of pleasure went straight to their crotch, making it throb as their mouth went dry. They wanted to look so badly. They slowly straighten their back, hesitating for a second before they start walking, passing by the wide-open door as if nothing happened and they were just crossing the corridor. Their eyes trailed discretely on the room, on you, as they walked, their pace tranquil and natural, their turmoil only betrayed by the way their first was clenched.
You didn’t seem to notice them, you were not facing the door and were very obviously focused on Sukuna's dick rearranging your guts, same was true for Sukuna, who was too enthralled by the way his hands were sinking into the flesh of your ass to pay attention to his surroundings. Still, they didn't dare drag more than necessary; this brief glimpse was enough to give them a full picture of the situation, making their heart pound faster.
As Uraume leaned against the wall on the other side of the door frame, they closed their eyes, the scene so vivid in their mind. The way you were trying so hard to not slouch as Sukuna was taking you on all fours directly on the ground, the beautiful curve of your back, the rocking of your heavy breast at each thrust, the way your sweat was sticking your hair on your neck, your lips parting to moan from the relentless pounding...
No amount of meditation could calm them now, their sex was throbbing so much, pulsating in rhythm with the delighted screams they could hear. Their hand trailed on their stomach grazing against their aching arousal through their cloth in order to ease the painful ache between their legs. They barely touched themselves, and yet they were already dripping, not registering any of the dirty banter that was going on until you started stuttering louder.
- I’m.. going to cum, I am going to cum!!!
Your ecstatic voice sent a jolt of pleasure through their body, trying not to moan as they started stroking themselves urgently gripping their robe desperately in their sloppy movement.
- No not yet, hold on a bit more
Sukuna's voice was as teasing and commanding as usual, and they felt grateful for the extra time suddenly desperate to cum in tandem with you. They messily lifted the hem of their robe so they could touch their sex directly with renewed vigor, intoxicated by how your moans were turning into hopless, lustful whines of frustration and bliss.
It was so hot, they couldn’t resist and peaked their head just slightly again through the door frame, getting a new glimpse at your face distorted in pure pleasure at the way you were scratching the floor, your whole body shaking as Sukuna fucked you hard, pulling your hair roughly to keep you steady.
They quickly leaned back on the wall, in fear of being caught, their fingers working desperately on their heat, their head light from how aroused they were.
- There, there, good girl, now you can cum, Sukuna said, his voice dripping with condescension, his own grunt of pleasure mixed with your screams, barely audible from how wild you were panting and moaning.
A whimper escaped Uraume lips as they finally came, ruining their underwear quite spectacularly while putting their free hands over their mouth to stop themselves from being too loud. Their body was so tensed, pressing the back of their head as hard as they could against the wall.
Their legs were shaking from the intensity of their orgasm as they finally let themselves slowly fall against the wall, trying to steady their ragged breath. They never felt so good in their entire life and so shameful at the same time.
- Such a good slut, you did so well for me, Sukuna praised the sounds of wet kisses filling the room, irking Uraume and getting them back on earth. Somehow, the sloppy, hungry sounds of your lips crashing against Sukuna’s with a blissful humming were making them more jealous than the whole debauchery they just witnessed.
Chasing the thought of their head, they hastily clean their hand on their clothes, standing up again while they tidy their robe to look decent, and walking away before they get caught, their heart pounding hard in their chest as your voice still echoed in their mind.
They were in so much trouble.

ʚ summary: you have joined sukuna's side with uraume because you were strong and useful enough to keep around, sukuna mostly ignored you, but uraume seems to be taking a liking to you...
ʚ warnings: slight mature & sexual themes - female reader - gn uraume - unprotected sex - dirty talk - language - violence - sharp uraume behaviour - sub/dom mentions - smut and fluff :3
ʚ prior: due to the results of the second jjk underrated character poll here's the winner:
Tumblr media
❆ URAUME you had recently joined sukuna's side since you knew standing anywhere in sukuna's path was a free ticket to death row, and you weren't stupid enough to test that theory. it took a lot of to prove yourself worthy of living remotely close to his side, but you were indeed a strong sorcerer and who knew what else you might be useful at. you were doing quite good at your first weeks working under sukuna so much that you managed to gain a little bit of the king of curses trust, well not even close to a quarter of the trust he has for uraume, but who knows for how long they have been serving for. as long as gain a few acts of fondness coming from uraume that eased your nervousness, knowing that you're welcome by them. you made your way to the kitchen of sukuna's temple at uraume's request, as soon as you step into the kitchen you're met with the gory sight of a few human bodies, The pressure is on as you stare down at the human torso in front of you. You've been exposed to so much gore that seeing it doesn't impact you too much. You can feel Uraume looking at you expectingly. They hold the knife in their hand, choping every limb off the dead bodies effortlessly as though they're quickly getting the task at hand done. teaching you to cook for Lord Sukuna does cut into their other chores that they deem more important, but it might be worth it when you finally learn how to cook sukuna's meals.
"I'm going to be teaching you how to prepare lord sukuna's food, as much as I appreciate your help with other chores. you can't keep on being useless when it comes to culinary." uraume spoke as they looked at you expectingly as they tried to make their point, if you were going to help with the tasks you should master them all to no exception. you slowly stepped closer as they handed you a butcher knife, expecting you to preform on one of the bodies laying on the cooking counter. "watch and do as i say....you have potential." they held your hand under theirs as they guided your hand to work while they stood behind you, trapping your form between their body and the counter facing you. "start off first by chopping off the limbs from the main body, slide into it but if you can't slice through due to a bone, use your strength to push the knife through, then well follow by skinning the meat- are you listening?" they snapped you back to reality, your mind was going off somewhere while you let them take complete control of your hand which was moving along as they mostly did the work, a faint blush appear on your face from embarrassment, stuttering to form a word to reply to them. uraume was confused for a moment by your off behaviour before it finally clicked, they narrowed their cold eyes as they stared down at you. "You are. getting yourself in deep trouble." This cooking lesson is not going like it was suppose to, i wonder who's fault is that....
Tumblr media
uraume's eyes landed on your exposed breasts, nipples already hardening, making their face redden even more at the sight. they couldn't help but lean down, licking one nipple, making you gasp. they then took it between their lips, sucking softly while they kneaded your other breast with their hand, which resulted in a gasped moan escaping your lips before uraume's hand came to cover your mouth as you grinded against each other in the back of the kitchen while the other servants were working "quiet down, unless you wish for us to be caught in this lewd position." uraume whispered in your ear, their hot breath sending shivers down your spine as they pressed your back even more against the wall, trapping you there helplessly as you fought hard to hold back the faint moans escaping your lips as you grinded on uraume's clothed thigh, wetting their robes with your dripping pussy while they paid close attention to your breasts, uraume's other hand slid off your mouth when they trusted you to stay quiet to slide down to finally play with your aching cunt that was crying for attention for so long now. you muffled your mouth with your hand as you tired to surpass the loud moan that was threatening to flee you mouth as soon as their finger started skilfully massaging your clit, you moaned before uraume locked your lips together in a heated kiss to shut you up, your robe sliding off your body as you wrapped your arms around their neck as you kiss back, the rush of pleasure running through your body has you a trembling wet mess against uraume, before they finally broke the kiss, leaving you breathless. yet the pleasure didn't last long before uraume suddenly pulled away from you and fixed their own rode before quickly pressuring you to dress back presentably. uraume hurriedly stepped out of the back to the main kitchen just in time before sukuna swung the sliding door open, if only wasn't it to uraume's sharp sense to predict sukuna's close coming you two would have been caught, sukuna hummed as he stared down at uraume before he shifted his gaze to you, rode barely put on properely and seating like hell, both from the adrenaline pumping through your body from almost getting caught and the heat of the moment you had just experienced not five seconds ago, sukuna narrowed his eyes. "you're sweating bullets, is cooking for your king really a hard task for you? pfft- pathetic."
you were thoroughly shocked at uraume's ability to stay reserved and presentable even after what had happened merely seconds ego, well from the looks you and uraume have been exchanging this won't be a one time thing....

"Uraume-san! Uraume-san!" Y/N calls, running through the halls of the large shrine to approach the monk.
"Y/N." Uraume greets back neutrally, turning their head away from the village man that they were speaking to moments earlier, tattered clothes dirtying the floors of the shrine.
"Eh?" Y/N pauses, smile faltering as she looks between the two. "Were you busy again? Sorry... I can—"
"No." Uraume interrupts firmly, turning their body to completely face the girl that had started to slink further back into the shrine. "It's fine."
"Really? I don't want to be a nuisance..." Y/N frowns apprehensively.
Uraume sighs at the insecure and nervous behavior coming from the normally out-going girl. "It's only a minor issue, someone else can deal with... him."
Uraume sends a subtle glare back at the man, prompting him to straighten his spine.
"Y-Yes! I should be g-going anyway..." The man stammers, quickly rushing out of the shrine like a scared mouse.
Y/N blinks in surprise as the man disappears from view. "Huh. You're really scary, Uraume-san."
Uraume frowns faintly at the admission, opening their mouth to say something as they look back at Y/N, words dying in their throat at the sight of the girl smiling at them in admiration.
"You and Sukuna-sama are so cool." Y/N sighs with an amazed smile, wonder dancing in her eyes.
Uraume blinks in stunned silence, it (embarrassingly) taking a moment to recover before they speak again. "What is it you wanted, Y/N?"
"Oh, right!" Y/N easily perks back up again, smile returning full-force. "I was wondering if you wanted to go peach picking with me! It's in season!"
"I-If it's not too much of an issue, of course..." Y/N adds, glancing away from Uraume sheepishly. "I wouldn't mind going alone—"
"No, you're not permitted to leave without Sukuna-sama or I joining you after last time." Uraume cuts off bluntly, never the one to sugarcoat things.
"It's not my fault that guy wouldn't leave me alone." Y/N huffs childishly, turning her head to the side with a pout.
"Of course not. It's merely a precaution." Uraume replies, tone completely unreadable. Although when Y/N glances over, her eyes catch onto their hands that were tightening into fists at the mention of that particular attempt.
Of course, people outside the shrine were aware of Y/N— a completely normal human with nothing special about her that, somehow, got in Ryomen Sukuna's favor.
So it didn't take long enough for people to target Y/N whenever she left the safety of the shrine— her being the only person they were able to attack. Uraume could use cursed energy and only a fool would dare to attack Sukuna himself, leaving Y/N the only one to defenseless enough to try to kill.
One man was even brazen enough to try and kidnap her— which resulted in his head being speared outside the village as an unspoken threat.
"So, peach picking?" Uraume prompts, drawing Y/N out of her musings.
"Oh, right! There's this really pretty peach farm an elderly man had last time I visited the village. He even gave me some!" Y/N rants excitedly. "He said I could come back any time and have some more since he doesn't have anyone else to give them to!"
"Hm." Uraume closes their eyes in thought, pausing for a moment before their dark pink eyes peer open again. "Alright, I will accompany you."
"Great! Thank you, Uraume-san!" Y/N squeals, tackling the monk in a hug, holding on for another second or two before pulling away to meet them face-to-face.
Uraume's eyes were blown wide, a faint pink dusting their pale cheeks that matched their eyes. Their lips were parted in shock— as if they went to say something but couldn't muster the words.
"You're the best!" Y/N praises, kissing their cheek before letting go, turning and rushing down the hall.
Uraume breathes in, raising a hand to their cheek as they blink incredulously— unsure of what the warm feeling bubbling in their chest is.

Hidden Affection ❀ Uraume (REQUESTED) Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The evening air is crisp and clear, a stark contrast to the warmth that fills the secluded corner of the courtyard. Lanterns flicker softly, casting a gentle glow over the meticulously maintained garden. It's here, amidst the whispering bamboo and the trickle of a distant stream, that you find yourself entwined in Uraume's arms, savouring the precious moments of peace and affection.
Your heart pounds with an intoxicating mix of excitement and fear. Being the younger sister of the fearsome Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, your life is one of paradoxes. Your brother's reputation for ruthlessness precedes him, and while his protection has ensured your safety, it also places you under intense scrutiny that makes your hidden relationship with Uraume all the more thrilling and dangerous.
Uraume's fingers brush a stray lock of hair from your face, their touch as delicate as the petals of the cherry blossoms that surround you. Their eyes, usually so cold and calculating in Sukuna's presence, are now filled with a softness reserved only for you.
"My lady," they whisper, their voice a hushed caress, "do you not fear the repercussions of our secret?"
A smile tugs at your lips. "Fear is a constant companion in my life," you reply, "but with you, I find courage."
They lean in, capturing your lips in a kiss that steals your breath away. It's a kiss that speaks of longing, of stolen moments, and of a love that defies the dark reality of your existence. For in this moment, you are not Sukuna's sister, and they are not his loyal servant. You are simply two souls bound by an unbreakable bond.
Yet, as always, the shadow of your brother looms over you. Sukuna's protectiveness knows no bounds, and his wrath is a force to be reckoned with. The thought of his reaction if he were to discover your relationship with Uraume sends a shiver down your spine, but it also strengthens your resolve.
As the days turn into weeks, your clandestine meetings continue. Each encounter is filled with whispered promises and fervent embraces. Uraume's presence becomes your sanctuary, their touch your solace. Yet, the weight of your secret grows heavier with each passing day.
Tumblr media
One evening, as the crimson sun dips below the horizon, you find yourself in your brother's presence. Sukuna is seated in his grand chamber, a place that exudes his overwhelming aura of power. His eyes, the same piercing crimson as yours, lock onto you with an intensity that makes you pause.
"Come closer, sister," he commands, his voice a deep rumble that leaves no room for disobedience.
You obey, approaching him with a sense of trepidation. Despite his fearsome reputation, Sukuna has always shown you a certain softness, a rare kindness that he reserves for you alone. But today, something in his gaze is different. Sharper.
"I have been hearing rumours," he says, his tone deceptively calm. "Rumors that concern you and Uraume."
Your heart stops. The blood drains from your face as you struggle to maintain your composure. "Rumors?" you echo, your voice barely above a whisper.
He rises from his seat, his towering form casting a long shadow that seems to envelop you. "Yes, rumours," he repeats, stepping closer. "Whispers of secret meetings and forbidden affections."
Panic wells up inside you, but you force yourself to meet his gaze. "Brother, I..."
Before you can utter another word, Sukuna's hand reaches out, gripping your chin with a force that borders on painful. "Do not lie to me," he growls, his eyes blazing with anger. "I am not a fool."
Tears prick at the corners of your eyes. "It's true," you admit, your voice trembling. "I... I love Uraume."
The silence that follows is deafening. Sukuna's grip tightens for a moment before he releases you, stepping back as if your confession has physically struck him.
"You love Uraume," he repeats, the words dripping with disdain. "My most trusted servant. My confidant."
"Yes," you whisper, "I do."
For a moment, Sukuna simply stares at you, his expression unreadable. Then, to your surprise, he begins to laugh. It's a dark, humourless sound that sends chills down your spine.
"You are a fool," he declares, his laughter dying as quickly as it began. "Do you not understand the danger you have placed yourself in? Uraume is bound to me. Their loyalty is to me."
You take a step forward, your fear giving way to a fierce determination. "I understand, brother. But my heart belongs to them. And theirs to me."
Sukuna's eyes narrow, his fury palpable. "And what of Uraume? What do they say?"
"They love me," you say, your voice steady. "We love each other."
For a moment, Sukuna remains silent, his expression a mask of conflicting emotions. Then he turns away, his back to you. "Leave me," he commands, his voice cold and distant. "I need time to think."
You hesitate, wanting to say more, to plead your case, but you know better than to push him further. With a bow, you retreat from his chamber, your heart heavy with uncertainty.
The days that follow are tense and filled with an uneasy silence. You and Uraume continue to meet in secret, though the joy of your stolen moments is now tinged with the ever-present fear of discovery. Sukuna's reaction to your confession haunts you, and you cannot help but wonder what he will do.
Tumblr media
One evening, as you and Uraume sit beneath the cherry blossom trees, their hand in yours, you voice your concerns. "What if he forbids us from seeing each other?" you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
Uraume's gaze is steady, their eyes filled with a determination that mirrors your own. "Then we will find a way," they say firmly. "I will not let him come between us."
You nod, drawing strength from their resolve. "Together," you murmur, "we can face anything."
The confrontation comes sooner than expected. One night, as you and Uraume share a quiet moment in the garden, Sukuna appears before you. His presence is like a storm, dark and overpowering.
"You defy me," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "Even after my warning."
Uraume rises to their feet, positioning themselves protectively in front of you. "My lord," they begin, but Sukuna cuts them off with a sharp gesture.
"Silence," he snaps, his gaze shifting to you. "You will return to your chambers. Now."
Fear claws at your heart, but you refuse to back down. "No," you say, your voice trembling but resolute. "I will not leave Uraume."
Sukuna's eyes narrow, his anger a palpable force. "You test my patience, sister."
Before you can respond, Uraume steps forward, bowing deeply. "My lord," they say, their voice calm and respectful. "I love your sister. I have always been loyal to you, but my heart belongs to her."
For a moment, the tension is unbearable. Then, to your astonishment, Sukuna's expression softens, if only slightly. "You love her," he repeats, his voice quieter.
"Yes," Uraume replies. "I do."
Sukuna is silent for a long moment, his gaze shifting between the two of you. Finally, he speaks. "If you betray her," he says, his voice deadly serious, "I will destroy you."
Uraume nods, their eyes unwavering. "I will not, my lord."
With a final, piercing look, Sukuna turns and walks away, leaving you and Uraume alone once more.
In the aftermath of Sukuna's reluctant acceptance, the tension eases somewhat, though the shadow of his disapproval still lingers. Your relationship with Uraume, though still hidden from the wider world, feels more secure. Sukuna's warning remains clear in your mind, but so does the unwavering love you share with Uraume.
As you sit together beneath the stars, Uraume's hand in yours, you find solace in their presence. The future is uncertain, and the path ahead is fraught with challenges, but with Uraume by your side, you feel ready to face whatever comes.
Together, you have defied the odds. Together, you will continue to do so. For your love is a flame that will not be extinguished.

Sukuna x f!Reader
In which Sukuna brings home child Uraume — 1
next —>
You rubbed your eyes in disbelief as you stared at the child hiding behind your husband's legs and peaking at you.
Sukuna didn't pay attention to your questioning stare, he simply sauntered in to your shared home and tossed the meat he had hunted on the table. As if it was just an average day for the two of you.
Except it wasn't because there was a child right next to him.
"Um... Love?" You questioned softly.
"What?" He grunted.
"Mind telling me who... that is?"
Sukuna crossed his upper arms while resting his lower on his hips. He shrugged. "Our ice house is no more. This child can create ice so I brought them home."
Of course he did. Leave it to your husband to replace an actual functioning cooler with a literal child.
Speaking of a cooler...
"The icehouse is broken? I swear it was perfectly fine when I went there this morning..." You mused.
But a quick glance outside the window confirmed that it was indeed broken. Crushed by a tree and blood splattered everywhere from the meat stored inside of it.
And just one look at the fallen tree, you can tell what—no, who was responsible for this destruction. There was a large, clean cut right at its base.
You turned to your husband with an accusing frown but he opted to not look at you. He knows that the moment he locked eyes with you, he'll have to face your wrath and.... He'd rather not.
You sighed and shook your head before walking over to the child who stepped away from you the moment you got closer.
You stopped, keeping your distance and smiled kindly. "It's okay. Don't be afraid, little one. I won't hurt you."
Your voice was soft, your eyes were kind so when the child looked up at Sukuna and saw the way he was looking at you, they knew you were trustworthy.
And yet...
"You won't harm me but... I can harm you." Was what the child spoke.
Your heart sank at their words and the way they looked away. Their gaze was an empty and distant void. This poor child...
But the King of Curses scoffed at their words. "Go to her. As long as I am here you cannot harm her."
You were surprised at how this child had came to trust Sukuna that they took his word and slowly stepped over to you. Besides you, no one else in this land would ever dare trust him. Then again, your husband never gave them a reason to.
You went down on your knees to be at the child's level. A small, loving smile graced your features as you reached over to brush your fingers against their cheek.
Ice cold.
But that didn't stop you as you brushed their hair in comfort. "You poor thing... Just what have you been through?" You asked softly.
The child kept quiet, their eyes gathered with unshed tears. They closed it to stop them from flowing down. And then, very very tentatively they leaned into your touch.
"...You're warm." They mumbled.
Your heart warmed at those soft words. You were happy that this child had found comfort in you.
Despite being the King of Curses' wife, you loved children. You always wanted one of your own. You had even managed to convince your husband to have a child together.
But those dreams were far gone when you found out you were infertile.
It took a while but you had gotten over it. Though part of you still wished that you can have that. A small family with your husband.
So when you looked up at Sukuna, that's when you noticed his gaze. A look that was only reserved for you. Tender, soft and... loving. But there was another meaning behind it...
This is my gift to you.
Your heart leaped and you felt tears gathering in your eyes. The smile you gave him was nothing short of radiant that had him looking away from you. But you knew he was flustered just from the red tint on the tip of his ears.
You laughed softly and got on your feet, gently pulling the child close to you. "What's your name, little one?"
"Uraume."
You hummed. "Uraume... What a beautiful name. Are you hungry, Uraume?"
Uraume felt their stomach grumble just then so they softly nodded.
"Very well, then I'll get started on dinner."
Uraume looked up at you, their pinkish eyes staring at you with a curious glint. "Can I help?" They asked.
You smiled, running a gentle hand through their white hair.
"Of course."

heian era sukuna x reader →
(a/n: loosely inspired by that one jessica rabbit scene; this is also borderline uraume/reader bc theyre so cute ugh)
Tumblr media
people don’t understand how you can love the king of curses. his figure was grotesque—beyond repulsive—with four heavy hands that could snap your limbs into two if he so pleased. they can’t get past the four eyes either, but you found them charming. how could you not when he looked at you so sweetly?
“where is my husband?” you inquire for the nth time, your voice as sweet as molasses as you tug at the ends of uraume’s sleeves. the humble servant doesn’t answer immediately; they know not to, and you don’t mind. while you wait, you watch the passerines tease the fish in the pond from your spot on the engawa.
uraume dips their elegant fude into the shallow inkstone beside you. calligraphy and whatnot. “lord sukuna is tending to matters in the southern provinces,” they answer with the same amount of patience they had a few minutes ago, and an hour before, and another before that. they must be used to it now.
“do you think he misses me?” comes a light brush against their pale hand. uraume exhales through their nose at your question, but not from exasperation. never that. “yes,” they say with utmost sincerity, like it’s gospel truth, before painting one long, flourishing stroke. “very much so.”
content, you cease your ministrations and fall on your back, giggling at the way your hair splays beneath your head. “he loves me,” you coo and cup your sun-kissed cheeks. “my husband loves me, and i love him too.” you think the edge of their lips twitch up into the barest hint of a smile.
but it vanishes before you can get a proper glimpse. sighing, uraume gives you a knowing look from the corner of their eye as they dip their fude back into the inkstone. you turn to lay on your side and watch how it absorbs the ink. “the servants, though adequate, have been quite bothersome lately.”
they finish the kanji in several swift strokes. 麗. rei for beauty. uraume continues. “there’s ill speak of your relationship with lord sukuna.” you count the passerines, letting the unspoken question hang in the air. shall i do something about it? it’s uraume’s turn to wait patiently for an answer, an ultimatum.
but you don’t give one so easily, preoccupied with an image that resurfaces in your mind: a group of servants—fresh off the cut and eager-eyed—gossiping by the water well. you don’t think they saw you, unless they were stupider than you thought, but they were loud enough to hear.
uraume is watching you, properly now, as you blow a stray strand of hair from your face. when they lean in to gently tuck it behind your ear, persimmons and plums permeate your senses. “do not bother with them. they talk because they do not understand why i love him,” you decide with finality.
“and why do you love him?” there’s a hint of fondness in their voice, reserved for you.
you look up through your delicate lashes, smiling cheekily. “he makes me laugh.”

You don't know how you ended up here.
Currently, you were standing on the steep steps of the Zen'in estate, alongside Uraume, Kenjaku, and, well, yourself. But you didn't feel like yourself. Instead, you felt an overwhelming evil fill your system. You felt the bile in the pit of your stomach churn, and the air in your lungs suddenly gained heaviness. But of course, you were supposed to be ready for this kind of thing.
You watched Uraume dismantle a giant cursed spirit, splitting it from the inside out and freezing its insides. Their expression told you that they were indifferent to this kind of treatment. "Whats wrong Y/N? Never seen a cursed spirit bleed?" Kenjaku spoke up. "I-I have..." that was a lie. And it was clear Kenjaku knew that, but he let you have your reassuring moment.
Uraume had previously informed you about the ritual of bathing in the blood of cursed spirits. It made your head spin even thinking about it. They called you 'weak' or 'tender' for saying that. But I mean, who wouldn't be disgusted by a giant bleeding cursed spirit? The sight was downright vile.
"Y/N, Please do not keep Sukuna Sama waiting." Uraume says. "What? Where is he?" You say, trying to keep your composure. "He is down those stairs, in the bath I have prepared for him. He has ordered me to inform you upon your arrival, to come to his side. I can show you the way if you would like."

"What are you looking at, brat? You wanna come in?" Sukuna says, staring directly into your eyes. Most of his head was submerged under the crimson fluid that surrounded him, and he had a lustful look in his eyes when he spoke to you. One of the many things that never failed to make you weak in the knees.
"I wouldn't prefer that... I don't wanna get my hair wet." Which was an obvious lie, to the truth that you were scared. But Sukuna knew you too well, and could see through your facade. And with a chuckle, he said, "Women are so dramatic sometimes. But I can tell you're lying. You're scared, is that it?" You pause and look at the scene before you. The pool of blood is at least a couple meters deep, and it was absolutely huge to your standards. "You scared of drowning? Ill hold you up then. These worries of yours are irrelevant to me. Be a big girl and get inside already."
You didn't want to seem weak in front of Sukuna, but the thing was, he already knew you were weak. So there was truly no need to hide that from him. Sukuna basically knew everything about you, as being one of the perks of being his favorite playthings. You aren't too sure how you managed to get this far into your questionable relationship with the curse, but it really happened with no negotiation. He suddenly took a liking to you and your uncoordinated self. Something about you was charming to him. How cute.
You suck in your breath and close your eyes, as you are reassuring yourself to be more brave. But as you make your descent downwards, it was hard to. Which in turn makes you trip over your steps, with a loud shriek. But as you land and fall feet first inside the water, you find yourself being held up by Sukunas arms. "Such a clumsy thing to do in front of your king." He says, clearly amused in your antics.
You start to quietly panic, as the only thing holding you up in the deep liquid is Sukunas strong hold on your thrushing body, keeping his hands attached to your waist. "Calm down already. You aren't drowning as long as i'm here." His words didn't fix your crumbling composure.
"You need my help? Or do I need to teach you how to calm the fuck down."

You couldn't think straight.
With the way Sukunas hips piled rived into yours, it turned you into a blabbing mess. He had brought you to the shallow area of the steps while still submerged. While he was siting on one of the steps, you were going practically dumb on his cock. You held onto his shoulders with each hard thrust of his hips, holding on for dear life at this point.
All that could be heard was splashing from the waves that formed around the two of you, and the squelching of your aroused pussy.
"K-kuna please-" You say as his cock continues his assault on your poor cunt, his gruff hands moving your hips up and down like a ragdoll. "Holy shit- hhahhh- I cant- Please" "Use your words, big girl." He says, a harsh hand coming up to grab and handful of your hair. "Its too much- im gonna cum soon kuna!" You say embarrassingly, hiding your face into Sukunas shoulder.
"Aw, but we just got started right?" He says with a fake pout. This little fucker. "Cmon, keep trying. You wish to please me, correct?" With a smug grin tugging his lips, he forces your head to look over your shoulder at the mess your making on his cock.
"Uraume! Get us a robe while your at it, yeah?" Sukuna yells from across the room, his eyes preoccupied on your shaking body. "At once, my lord." Uraume says, taking a leave. Uraume? Were they here the whole time? You went too blank spaced in the mind to even notice anybody else.
But your thoughts come to a halt when Sukuna stops, flips you around and ruts into you from behind, his hands snaking around your waist, head resting on your shoulder, causing you to grab onto his thighs for dear life. The relenting pace he was going at, paired with the angle he was fucking your pussy in made you see stars, indicating your soon coming release.
"Right there- shit right there! Don't stop- please-!" You held your head hanging low, too focused on the pleasure Sukuna was handing your way. "Oh my, so bossy today. Who are you to think you can order me around?" He says, low groans leaving his mouth from behind your shoulder. "Im about to- oh my god oh my god-" And with that you cum, your cunt convulsing and tightening around his length, practically milking him.
"Good fucking girl, let it all out." He says, while still thrusting into you, maintaining his relentless pace. "Stop! Too much-" You yelled, mouth hanging open uncontrollably. "You want me to fill you up? You'd want that wouldn't you. You want your kings seed?" He grabs the sides of your face, and moves his hands in and out, mimicking the movement of your mouth and saying in a high pitched voice 'Yes, I want my kings seed!'
He laughs with Uraume at this, who is standing unbothered at the sight before them. Holding two matching robes for the two of you. You couldn't help but let out loud moans from how overwhelmed you were. "You see that Uraume? Shes embarassed, its pathetic really. the poor thing isn't used to people watching." "The way she is moving tells me she is, she is overreacting really." Uraume says, observing the sight, with no lustful intentions. Your head starts shaking, trying to say you don't. "Please Kuna! I cant-
"You like when they watch? My drama queen truly." He says, slowing down his movements. "Fuck, being so good for me. Heres your reward, pet." And with a harsh groan, releases inside of your fluttering pussy, filling you to the brim with his seed, and painting your inner walls white. You whimper with your head low, as Sukuna rests his head in the crook of your neck, hands still resting on your hips.
He pulls out of you and flips you around, grabbing your chin. You are basically on the brim of passing out from how intense that was. He picks you up by the ass, forcing glops of cum to drool out of your cunt, and pool into the water. Sukuna looks amused at the piece of art he had just created.
"Good job brat. Uraume! Get us those towels, and make sure she can stand, I don't need an annoying little pet the next day."

8:25 p.m.
“Are you sure we can’t just order takeout?”
Sukunas eyes met yours.
“No. We’re staying to eat.”
Sukuna was used to your insults. The oh so clever ways you found to call him an idiot, a manwhore, a joke. He was used to the rage you put behind your words whenever he found a way to get under your skin. He even was used to the physical violence you enforced against him, a small scar over his left eyebrow served as an amusing reminder of the time you threw a vase at his face for “accidentally” dropping hot sauce all over you before you went out with your friends. The three stitches his wound required had been worth it as soon as he saw you coming out of your room with a different dress, the amount of exposed skin turned down a notch.
Sukuna was used to receive and be the source of your rage. It was fun. It was entertaining. It was comfortable.
What Sukuna wasn’t used to was the emptiness behind your eyes. Ever since that night the spark he liked ignite was gone, almost as it had been sucked out of you. The memory of that night replayed constantly on his mind.
“Get the fuck of me!”
“I’m going to fucking kill you!”
A curling scream echoed in the alley behind the bar.
Sukunas heart rose to his throat. He couldn’t think straight, he couldn’t even remember where he had placed his keys or his gun, a kitchen knife in his hand as he had left his apartment in a rush. He hadn’t even bothered putting on shoes or a shirt, nothing more than just a pair of black sweatpants and desperation joined him as he ran through the dark streets of Tokyo.
Ryomen Sukuna was a man with many faults. Prone to anger. Sociopathic tendencies. Narcisism in its most pure form. He wasn’t a stranger to rage or violence but the wrath that rose in him the moment he heard your scream wasn’t of this world. Worlds could be burned just by the mere touch of the fire of his rage.
“Get off!”
The back door had been locked, probably by one bastard inside. His body smashed again and again against the door unsuccessfully, the metal bolt stopping him from wreaking havoc inside. You must’ve been close to the back door as he heard you calling for him.
“Sukuna!”
“Shut the fuck up, bitch!”
He heard the echo of a slap.
Tick
There had been few instances where Sukuna had blacked out because of anger. There had been one time when his little brother Jin had been pushed into a wall by a group of older kids, his head hitting the concrete.
That had been the first time Sukuna had ever been arrested.
The second time had happened more recently. He had been foolish, unprepared for betrayal. Jogo, a strange guy that he had dealt with in the past and a guy that claimed to be his ally, had tried to put a leash on him. He had dared to use his family and friends to control him, threatening everyone from Uraume to his little nephew Yuji. No one had found Jogo’s corpse yet.
This time had been different. Usually, he retained a couple of the memories of what had transpired, he remembered the screams of those kids, he remembered the look in Jogo’s eyes as life left his body. He remembered them begging, pleading him to stop.
This time he didn’t remember running to the front door, his body smashing against the glass of one of the shop windows making sharp little pieces of crystal collide against his skin, leaving trails of blood behind. He didn’t even remember feeling the same pieces of glass crunching under his bare feet, painfully digging in his skin.
He didn’t even remember your cries or screams, neither the silence his entrance had caused. The only thing he remembered was the image that welcomed him when he finally went through the kitchen doors. Three men were in the kitchen with you, pressing your body against the bar. Tears ran down your face as struggled against them, sheer panic plastered all over your face. He remembered how wide your eyes had been as one of the men pressed a blade against your neck, stopping Sukuna in his tracks.
He remembered your tears. He remembered your fear. He remembered your anger. He remembered the way you had grabbed a knife, stabbing them man that held you hostage in the side of his torso.
He didn’t wake up until your voice called his name once more, stopping him from his frenzy as his fist collided again and again against the man’s face. Your face was drenched covered in blood, purple and black spots already forming along your cheek. His knuckles were raw and broken, the man under him more likely than not dead. They didn’t hurt him as much as the pain the sight of your bruised face brought him.
“Sukuna…” your voice died on your lips.
His hands reached out to you and for the first time you had recoiled before he could even touch you.
He was going to kill them, all of them.
“Are you ready to order?” A feminine voice brought him out of his thoughts. A pretty waitress stood in front of them, her smile directed towards him.
“Two miso soups” He grunted.
Usually, his unfriendly demeanor was enough for people to leave him alone. Unfortunately, the waitress had been too focused on his physique to be deterred by his personality.
“Coming right up.” She said as she finished writing on her notebook. She pushed her short black hair behind her ears, a blush spreading through her face. “I like your tattoos”
“Mmm”
His eyes fell on his cellphone, hoping she would get the message.
She didn’t.
“I have a couple of them myself. I have two on my arm and one… well I couldn’t show you where the other one is.”
Any other day Sukuna would’ve taken the bait, even better with you watching. But when the corner of his eye caught you staring through the window, any sort of satisfaction left his body.
You weren’t even looking at him.
“Mmm”
He didn’t spare her a glance.
The waitress opened her mouth one last time, hoping that to at least get his attention.
“It’s nice of you to take your sister out to eat. Not a lot of brothers are this nice.”
Tick.
“What the fuck makes you think she’s my sister?”
The waitress had finally caught his indifference… a little too late.
“N-no, I’m sorry. I was just– “
“I know what the fuck you’re trying to do.” Sukuna cut her off, his eyes burning through the girls skull. “I don’t do desperate sluts, especially not the ones that whore themselves out when I already have company.”
“I-I’m sorry, I– “
“I don’t give a fuck about your apologies.” Sukunas eyes burned with fire, his fist hitting the table gathering everyone’s attention. “What makes you think I, let alone anyone in this restaurant with functioning eyes and a sense of smell, would even touch you? You think an ugly, desperate, fish smelling skank like you can–”
Your hand reached to his “Enough.”
A battle of stares ensued. Carmin eyes stared at yours, the anger they carried could’ve made even the strongest man shiver under them. Not you. Never you. Not even when yours where void of any emotion.
As always, you won.
“Go. Ask another waitress to bring our food.” You told the girl, eyes still focused on him. “I already have enough fish in my soup.”
Sukuna chuckled.
A few moments later two steaming bowls of miso were dropped off at your table by a male waiter.
“I don’t like miso soup.” You broke the silence.
“Lie. You don’t like porridge.”
“How do you even know that?”
For a second, Sukunas heart began racing, an annoying habit it had acquired for the past few months.
“I know everything you hate just in case I have to use it.”
“Asshole.”
He brought the white bowl to his lips, the savory taste of the broth lingering on his mouth. He had never considered himself well-mannered so it wasn’t a surprise when mere seconds later, the bowl was emptied from any liquid.
Yours, on the other hand, remained intact. Your eyes had gone back to the window, thoughts lost so far Sukuna couldn’t decipher them. The dark circles below them were poorly concealed, the darker tone crashing against whatever makeup product you were using to cover them.
“Brat.”
You didn’t turn to him, but he knew you were listening.
“Eat.”
“I’m not hungry.” You mumbled.
Tick
Sukunas laugh filled the air, his head pulled back as he rubbed his eyes. Your head finally snapped to his direction, eyebrows furrowing with frustration the longer his laugh continued.
Thirty seconds was all it took for your patience to run out.
“What’s so funny?”
He took a deep breath, his hand holding his stomach as the pain from laughing too much took over his abdomen.
“You.”
You scoffed “What about me?”
Sukunas smile widened with the cockiness that’s characterized him.
“I never took you for a weakling.”
Your jaw hardened, teeth grinding so hard he could almost hear your enamel disintegrating itself away.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
Fire.
Scalding, raging fire. Your eyes opened wide, burning everything on their path.
Sukunas skin filled with goosebumps.
“You’re going to let a couple of fat, weak, disgusting pigs beat you?”
Your breathing hitched before your hands turned into fists.
“You have no idea what you’re talking about.”
He leaned in.
“All I see is someone who’s letting herself be controlled. Look at yourself.” His eyes traveled along your face and your clothes, earning yourself an eye roll. “You’re starving yourself away, not sleeping, pretending you're fine as if nothing happened or at least trying to. They couldn’t hurt your body but you’re letting them kill away your mind?”
His words weakened your anger, your eyes watering a second later. Sukunas chest ached uncomfortably, as his mind told him to turn away from the source of his pain. He hated it. He wanted it gone. Whatever strange concoction of feelings you brought was foreign to him, but it was powerful enough to make him lose focus.
“You want to prove me wrong?”
He didn’t give you time to answer.
“Eat. Now.”
10:17 p.m.
“What are we doing here?”
Sukunas foot stepped on the rear brake making the motorcycle coming to a stop. He parked a couple of streets away, making you both walk until you reached a small white house in the outskirts of Tokyo.
You both walked to the white mid-size sedan parked outsides, making your way to the driver’s door. Your hands stopped him when he took off his jacket and wrapped it around his elbow
“What the fuck Sukuna? You’re going to get us arrested.”
“Not if you shut the fuck up.” He whispered, shaking your hand off. “You don’t remember this car, do you?”
Your eyes scanned the vehicle, looking through the window for any clues. Once your eyes landed on the driver seat where a chocolate axe body spray laid, they lit up with recognition and disgust.
“Daichi? My ex-manager?”
He tied one last knot.
“Remember the scrap yard Uraume and I used to hang out around when we were kids?”
“Yeah?”
He threw his keys at you, barely giving you time to catch them.
“Take my bike and meet me there.”
You stood there frozen as you processed what he said but Sukuna didn’t have time to wait for your brain to finally start working.
“Go! Now!”
His elbow crashed against the crystal, shattering everything on its path. The alarm went off, finally snapping you out of it. It didn’t take him longer than 3 minutes to silence the alarm and have the vehicle up and running. After years of experience taking bigger and better vehicles, a 2005 dodge wasn’t going to be a problem, it had almost been boring. You were long gone once the porch lights turned on, the echo of his bike speeding away filling the streets instead.
A short man with dark hair and an overhanging stomach came out screaming, a broomstick in his hands. Sukuna’s right foot dug in the gas pedal leaving the smell of burnt tire’s behind as his middle finger stuck out of the window.
10:41 p.m.
The rubble pathway to the boneyard made Sukuna remember why he preferred his bike over a constricted, heavy, metal box. Every rock sent the stability of the vehicle out the window making it seem as he was using the car to swim against the current, the two sixpacks of beer clashing against each other in the back.
Five minutes later he finally found you, his bike resting next to a torn down SUV as you paced back and forth. He didn’t had time to get both feet out of the car before you came to face him.
“What the fuck?” You yelled; your breathing heavy as your hands shook. “Why the fuck would you do that?”
Perfect, he thought to himself.
“Out of the way, slut.”
You scoffed, not before closing the door on him. The door collided against his hand and the brewing anger only you could pull out of him came to surface. His first instinct was to grab you by the throat, wishing nothing more than throwing you to the ground. Instead, he smashed the door closed as the back of his mind pleaded him not to upset you.
Upset you.
Since when did he care?
Throughout the years he had never cared for your emotions other than your anger. Your anger has always been the prime source of his entertainment, the things he had said, the things he had done, all for his own sake. He had pulled tears from your eyes, he had hurt you emotionally and sometimes physically just to pull a good laugh from himself.
He didn’t care about you.
But why did your tears haunt his dreams ever since that night?
“You’re fucking insane! We could get arrested!”
He scoffed, opening the passenger door. “Calm your tits, brat. No one is getting arrested.”
“You fucking calm your tits when I tear your head off for sending me to prison.” You turned away from him.
He took out the packs of beer along with a metal bat he had paid the liquor store owner for. He cracked open a can, the shaking of the car taking effect in the drink making it explode as soon as he opened it.
Sukuna welcomed the bitter taste of the liquor, anything that could distract him from the nuisance your presence brought him.
“Here.” He placed a metal bat in your hands.
“What am I supposed to with this?”
“Hit the car.” Sukuna said as if it was obvious.
“What?” You looked at him as if he had lost his mind. “No, what the hell?”
“Hit the fucking car.”
You pushed the bat back to his chest, forcing him to hold it. “I’m not hitting the fucking car, idiot.”
“Alright, if you’re not hitting the car then you have to admit you’re not ok.”
“What?”
Your tone hardened and he could almost see the walls building themselves back up.
“You heard me.” Sukuna repeated, opening a new can as he crushed the first one. “Hit the car or tell the truth.”
“I’m not doing shit.” You turned to his bike, your hands digging in your pockets.
Sukuna pulled you back by the arm, his hand snatching his keys out of your fingers.
“You’re not going anywhere until you either beat the shit out of this car or you fucking tell the truth.”
You tried to pull yourself free, but his grip was made from steel.
“Let me go”
“Make me.”
His eyes wondered down your face, staying on your lips for only a quarter of a second. You moved yourself closer to him and for a moment Sukuna thought you might kiss him. His body unconsciously filled with anticipation, only to have you snatch the bat out of his hands.
Hard, heavy footsteps carried you away until you reached the front of the car. You got into position, your hands gripping the handle so tightly he thought you might hurt yourself. You looked back at him one last time, only turning once he gave you a small nod.
Smash.
“Again.” He barked. Sukuna had expected you to fight back but the sound of the metal colliding against metal surprised him.
Smash.
“Again.”
Smash
“Again.”
Smash
“Fuck your job.” You yelled, your voice cracking in the last word.
Smash
“Fuck your pathetic life.”
Smash
“Fuck you, you mother fucking abortion looking like bastard!”
Smash
“Fuck you!
Fuck you!
Fuck you!”
Your angry screams had turned into wails, each one more painful than the other. The more you hit the car the faster your façade fell, showing him every dark thought you had forcefully hidden away from everyone. His heart began pounding against his chest, his own heartbeat deafening him from your suffering.
Something unexpected happened to Sukuna that night.
Physical touch for him mostly meant sex, or at least with the intention to end in sex. Sukuna was rough edges and violence; kindness and tenderness were never part of vocabulary and he preferred it that way. Why would he spend time in something he never saw a useful purpose for? Love meant weakness, and weakness was dangerous for men like him.
If love was useless to Sukuna, then why did he reach out for you? Why did he pulled the bat away, throwing it to the side as his arms wrapped around you? Why did he pushed your face to his chest, hoping his shirt would wipe your tears away so he wouldn’t have to see them?
“Stop it!” You fought back. “Let me go. Let me fucking go!”
He didn’t budge.
Eventually you wrapped your arms around him, holding onto him like he was your lifesaver. He could tell you were still struggling, fighting with everything in you to keep the tears inside. Even after finally breaking apart you still tried to find strength to not collapse.
He liked that about you, even if he would never admit it. Not even to himself.
“Why are you doing this to me?” You asked as you pulled back from his embrace, but his arms wouldn’t release you. “Why do you care?”
Sukuna was left speechless for the first time in his life.
What was he even trying to get out of this? Didn’t he hate you? With everything that had happened between you, why did he go out of his way to help you and expected nothing in return?
“I don’t know.” He finally answered. Red, slightly swollen eyes looked back at him and the pain in his chest intensified. “All I know is I don’t like seeing you like this.”
He would destroy worlds to erase the sadness behind your eyes.
11:03 p.m.
“Isn’t it weird we’ve known each other for almost a decade, and this is the first time we’ve actually hung out? Outside of sex of course.”
“Don’t get used to it.” He said as he drank the last sip of the last beer.
A mountain of smashed cans rested beside him as you both laid down in the hood of the now broken up car with the word “Rapist” scratched up in all sides. Both your jackets laid below you to protect you from the coldness of the metal as you looked at the dark sky.
“Why do you think that is?”
He looked at you, laying on your back and staring at the stars, your eyes finally lost in something else other than the darkness in your head. He could almost see the real you again.
“Because you’re a pain in the ass.”
You laughed.
“Yeah well, you’re not a spring breeze yourself.” You countered asclosed your eyes, a smile adorning your face.
Sukunas hand itched with the need to touch you, almost as if it had a mind of his own. This wouldn’t have bothered him as much if what he wanted to touch were your breasts or reach for that sweet spot between your legs, he would even be ok if it was your thighs, the soft sensitive skin along them always calling for him.
Instead, he wanted to reach for your face, trace along the path of your tears all the way down to your lips. He wanted to reach out for your hand, figure out if entwining his fingers with yours would be as great as he pictured in his imagination.
“Take a picture. It’ll last longer.” You said with a smirk.
He was glad your eyes were still closed, or you would’ve seen the slight blush crossing his face.
“As if, brat. I would go blind if I looked at you for too long.”
You scoffed. “Then why haven’t you? I see you looking at me all the time.”
His brain froze, his heart missing a heartbeat.
“Keep it up and I might think you actually like me, pretty boy.”
“I haven’t reached rock bottom yet. Maybe then you might have a chance.”
“Asshole.” You mumbled.
Sukuna laid back down on the car as he forced his heart to stop beating so fast. He wasn’t wrong when he said you were a pain in the ass, especially now that he couldn’t even control his body.
“I know that you burned down the store I used to work in.”
He didn’t answer, unsure on why you were bringing it up.
“Why did you do it?”
Another thing he wasn’t sure of. Somehow, when it came to you, he wasn’t sure of a lot of things.
He couldn’t tell you that, though.
“As much as I hate you, you’re Uraume’s sister.” He took a deep breath, hoping his lie would be believable enough. “They’re like family to me.”
“So, I’m like family to you too?”
“No.” He answered too fast for his liking. “You’re more like a pebble in my shoe that for some reason Uraume loves.”
“Is that the only reason why you did it?” You kept questioning to his dismay.
Did you know? There was no way you could know, right?
“Why else would I do it? You’re my friends annoying little sister and a slut I’ve fucked a couple of times; there’s nothing more to it.”
His words seemed to end the discussion, but he had his own questions brewing.
“Are you planning on telling Uraume?”
He felt your body tense up.
“No. I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“Why the fuck not?”
“I–“ you cut yourself off, searching for the right words. “I don’t want them in all of this. Want it or not, you killed a guy, Sukuna. I might have too, we don’t know.”
“I handled it.” He interjected but that wasn’t enough for you.
“It doesn’t matter.” You turned to your side, facing him. “If I tell Uraume two things could happen and both of them end with them going to prison.”
“You don’t give them enough credit if you think Uraume would get caught.”
“It’s not about that, Sukuna. If I can stop them from getting in more trouble than they already are, I’ll do it.”
Even if it didn’t make sense to him, he could understand the thought process behind it. He didn’t know how aware you were of the “business” him and Uraume dealt with, or how deep in the neck they were. But he understood your desire to protect them even if they had committed far worse crimes.
And with that a thought popped in his head.
“You not being able to sleep… is it because I killed that guy in front of you?”
“No. Well– not in the way you think.”
He gave you a look, telling you to continue.
“When you killed that guy… I didn’t feel sad or scared.” You took a deep breath. “I-I felt relieved, so fucking relieved. It was almost like I enjoyed it, which I guess it makes sense with all things considered but–”
You hesitated, and Sukuna could sense the silent battle you were having over whether to speak or not.
"I was angry too. I was angry I didn’t kill him myself. I was angry I couldn’t see his eyes drain of life and… I was angry I wouldn’t be the last thing he saw when he died.”
Sukuna could sense the shame in your words, the guilt of your feelings filling you again. He wanted to reach out to you, engulf you in a tight embrace again but he stopped himself from it.
“You… you think that makes me a monster?” You asked.
He wiped away a lonely tear that fell from your left eye.
“I know monsters and you’re not one of them. You’re just human.”
 “Yeah, a fucked up one.”
“Not as fucked up as me, right?” He shrugged.
You chuckled at his words. “Yeah, that bit is true.”
In a surprising move from your part, your fingers found his hand as you entwined them with his. Your warmth invading Sukunas senses as he tried to make sense of what was happening.
“Thanks.” You whispered. “For all of this.”
He could only bring himself to say one word.
“Sure.”
12:38 a.m.
“How are we going to get in? I don’t even have the right clothes.”
“Shut it. I know a way.”
After asking to go somewhere different, Sukuna wanted to know what you had in mind. When you said dancing, it was obvious it wasn’t what he had hoped for. He had hoped your idea of somewhere different would be his apartment, particularly his bed but he wasn’t too picky with the surface.
Instead he found himself guiding you through an alley behind The Underworld, a popular night club in the middle of Tokyo. After he found the back door he looked on windows near the backroom, finding one of them unlatched. He pulled it open, moving to the side as he waited for you to jump in.
“You’re not really serious, are you?” You asked incredulously.
“You in or not?”
You looked through the alley, searching for any unwanted spectator. After finding nothing, you rolled your eyes before walking to him “Fine, whatever.”
Both of you came out of the backroom, Sukuna guiding you both to the employees only resting area with a door that guided to the bar area. Darkness barely lit up by strobe lights and a couple of ambiance light welcomed you as soon as you crossed the door. The bass music hit your bodies through the air, each low down filtering through your bones.
You were clearly underdressed, both of you wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, his only possible salvation the black leather jacket he carried most places. Theres was nothing to worry though, the darkness in the club were enough to cover you from everyone else’s eyes.
Passing next to the bar, Sukuna managed to swipe a bottle some poor bartender had left unattended, rushing you to the other side of the establishment. You took charge once you were at a safe distance, guiding him to the middle of the dance floor. Red, purple and blue lights hit you in the face and he thought he had never seen anyone as majestic.
Every thought he had of you confused him, some of them even sending him to a panic, but he also knew he enjoyed them. He enjoyed the fire you once again carried inside you, the way your eyebrows furrowed whenever he would spout hateful names towards you, or the way your eyes crinkle when he had pissed you off too much.
He liked the way your lips moaned his name when he fucked you silly.
You had started dancing, arms in the air as you swayed your hips. Of course, you also danced like a slut, hypnotizing him as you enjoyed the music. He took a sip of the vodka bottle he carried, his carnal instincts taking over finally. It had been almost too long since the last time he had felt you around his cock and now that you were here, he wanted nothing more than taking you to the bathroom and make you scream his name.
He stalked you, like a predator waiting to catch his prey, anticipation overfilling him the longer you kept your eyes closed. You lifted your arms a little too high, revealing to him the black laced thong you were wearing.
He lost control.
Sukuna spun you around, grabbing your hips between his hands. You had gasped when he had grabbed you, but once you recognized him you went back to your dancing, hips now moving along with his touch. Your ass pressed against his crotch, effectively springing up his cock as soon as he felt your warmth. His hands wondered up your body, squeezing your tits on the way up to your neck, pushing you more against him.
He didn’t care if everyone could see you and for the way you looked at him, neither did you. Somehow his brain had been taken over by his basic instincts, his body craving more and more like a thirsty animal. Your eyes traveled down to his lips as you leaned in close enough for him to almost taste you.
Finally, after so long.
However, you pulled away, a sultry smirk on your lips.
“Can you go get a glass with ice? I like my vodka cold.”
He was going to fucking kill you. He tried grabbing you but you scaped his touch, your smile getting wider.
“Nuh huh, ice first.”
Fucking bitch.
Sukuna scoffed as he turned away, trying to find a table where to swipe the glass with ice so he could go back and put you in your place. With the corner of his eye he could see you looking at him, still dancing in the middle of the floor. You were riling him up, the playful look in your eyes telling him you wanted him too. Fine, he would play your game if you accepted the consequences.
After what it seemed like the hundredth table, he finally got the stupid glass filled with ice. He turned around, ready to make his way up to you but the sight of you pushing a guy away stopped him in his tracks.
Tick
He threw the bottle along with the cup, the people surrounding him complaining as they got splashed. Sukuna made his way to you, pushing people to both side to get them out of the way. Your jaw was tightened as you backed away from the guy.
The unknown man didn’t see it coming, two hands grabbing him by the shirt and smashing him against the wall, Sukunas body and strength caging him in a dangerous position.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” You yelled in the guys face.
“I–I’m sorry, I–“ The man tried to explain but his words were met with another shove, leaving his lungs without air.
Sukuna pulled out a knife he kept with himself at all times, the spade blade touching the guys neck.
“I’m going to fucking kill you for touching her.”
Whatever pathetic words he was about to plead with died in his throat as you called for Sukuna’s attention.
“Stop it.” You pulled on his shoulder.
Sukuna pressed the guys neck more, surely blocking his airways. He would’ve kept going if it wasn’t for the second pull you gave him, this time strong enough to move him. He released the man, the later collapsing to the floor.
“Let’s go.” He said as pulled you by your hand. You were about to say something when a couple of tall, well built men stopped you in your tracks. They had to be the bouncers.
“You’re going to have to go with me, kids.”
Sukuna laughed. “Or what?”
“Or I’ll beat you up in front of your girlfriend.”
He gave you a look with the corner of his eye, your eyes wide and open. At first he thought you were scared of the confrontation, he found that thought deeply offensive, as if he couldn’t take a couple of old, wasted, meatheads. But once he saw the way your lips commissure raised, he recognized the look you gave him.
You were having fun.
“Run!”
Your fingers laced with his as you pulled him forward.
Sukuna had to give it to you, when it came to running no one could beat you. Ever since you were kids it had always been a bitch to play with you. Somehow even at eight years old you had figured out how to turn into Usain Bolt, your little legs driving you too far for him to catch you.
You swerved through the sea of people, pushing some of them on your way as you tried to put as many obstacles between the men and you. Your escape was cut short by a big man jumping on your way, trying to catch you in his arms. Sukunas heart raced as he saw you almost getting caught so he smashed himself against the man, pushing both of them to the floor. You looked in shock as the chairs flew out of the way, hitting many people on their path.
“Go!” He yelled at you before standing up, pulling you with him.
You ran past the doors, jumping over the crowd control rope so you both run down the street towards Sukunas bike. Four men were now on your persuit, their footsteps heavy and slow compared to yours.
“Get back here, fuckers!” One of them yelled once you were too far away to be caught.
Both of you hopped on his bike, leaving tire smoke and stains behind as he raced through the empty streets in Tokyo.
“I can’t believe we did that!” You cheered as you held onto him.
“I forgot you turn into Usain Bolt when you run.”
You chuckled. “Shut up.”
Sukuna felt the weight of your head on his back as your arms grew tights around him. You took a deep breath, almost as if you were inhaling his scent, before liberating the air, your body relaxing against his.
“I think I’m ready to go home.”
His heart dropped down, he assumed because he could not get laid tonight, having played along you game for nothing. That must be why, he told himself. Except the back of his brain already craved your presence even if you were still next to him.
“Alright.” Was his only response.
It didn’t matter anyways, he would get his chance another day.

Corn Maze Child
Summary: You run away from home and hide in the corn maze field, hoping against all hope and praying to all that would listen that you won’t be found. Your prayer is answered by the most peculiar pair possible. Or when you get ‘adopted’ by Sukuna.
Pairing (non-romantic!) child-reader x father-figure Sukuna during Heiain era.  Sweetober prompt 6: Corn Maze   WC: 1.6 K Warnings: Cursing, hint at human consumption/cannibalism (it’s Sukuna and Uraume talk), unhappy home life and child running away from home (kind of child kidnapping if you squint?)
Tumblr media
They say curses are the root of all evil.
Born out of regret, fear, shame, and misery directly contribute to the end of a human's life. Death, capish, and no light at the end of the black tunnel situation. But you, even at your tender age of 6, knew there were things worse than monsters under the bed and round blobs of semi-invisible spirits that lingered on your village-mothers doorstep.
It was humans.
“Y/N!!” screamed an unfamiliar voice, echoed by another, a third and a fourth, and many more than you could count. They all sounded from different directions. Sometimes, they screamed one after the other, but as night drew nearer, their screams became overlapping screeches. The disturbing echo of your name that their screams produced danced along the dark field, followed the long cornrows and reached your tiny ears like a desperate plea—another cry familiar to you. For a second, you considered stepping out of your hiding place. But then you heard your mother's desperate cry and instantly shrugged back. A shudder passed through your tiny frozen body, and you huddled closer in on yourself. A scream sounded closer, and you covered further among the towering corn stalks.
The faint barking of dogs in the distance made your eyes tear up.
You knew they would first search along the cornfield rows, near the parts pointing towards your house. That’s where your parents would normally find you whenever you ran away. They’d most likely find the bag of toys you stuffed there, maybe even the clothes you left behind from your last run-away attempt. The food you stole and stashed and the few precious teddies you wanted with you on your ‘trip away.’
You prayed they’d find the stuff you had hidden and assumed you were stolen.
You prayed to anyone who’d listen that they’d abandon their search so that you could, finally, succeed in running away.
You had failed every time you tried. So, this time, you set off in a completely different direction. You left early in the morning, just after breakfast, and ran toward the middle of the field for as long as your little legs could carry you. Some time then, when the heat became unbearable, and you could no longer hear any sounds from the farm, you started running left- or was it right? You couldn’t remember anymore. You just knew you strayed away from the path a long, long time ago, and around dinner time, you found a spot where the corn was particularly clustered and hid there. Knees pressed to your chest, back against a cluster of corn, your teddy in one hand and your backpack in another. You had eaten the toast and drank half of the water your mother gave you before sending you off to play outside.
You were tired, hungry, and cold, but you were terrified that if you breathed the wrong way, someone would notice the corn shifting against the wind and find you. You had to be patient, you had to be brave, you had to–
“ Uraume, you said this was the shortcut.” A rough male voice displeased and unfamiliar, echoed through the darkness, close enough to overshadow the screams for your name. The voice sent shivers up and down your spine, the same type of shivers you felt whenever one of the spirits in the village-nanny’s home got close to you. When they’d look at you with hollow eyes, seemingly perplexed as to why you were alone, crying in the corner of the room.
The voice made your stomach twist. You felt pins and needles in your hands and feet, and the second your feeling became unbearable, you moved into a run.
“What the fuck?!” the same male voice, with a hint of surprise in it, cursed at you as you ran straight into the owner's leg and clung to it. Your tiny hands gripped the white kimono, clutching the soft material with all your might.
You didn’t let go even as your leg tried to shake you off.
“ I believe this is a human child” " a female voice spoke behind you, and you peeked up from the leg you clung to, your eyes coming face to face with the white-haired woman with a bright red streak through it. The woman’s eyes ran you up and down, from the strands of your messy hair down to the tips of your dirty ties and back up. “It seems food comes running straight to you, Sukuna-sama.”
You heard something like a chuckle, but you couldn’t be entirely sure of that as the following words sounded menacing and angry: “ Isolent, worthless brat.”
You felt something grab the back of your neck, something sharp and piercing before it yanked you up, so you came face to face with... Two faces? Several sets of eyes, dark markings all over his face. Which stretched further under the white kimono he was wearing. It confused you slightly; the design looked like something your mother would wear, but the creature in front of you was anything but motherly. Its lips pulled up in a sneer of disgust. A disgust that seemed to grow for every second when he held you up by the tips of his fingers.
Even with the unmistakable look of disgust, you thought he looked almost friendly.
“Well?” The man, Sukuna, growled, and the woman stepped closer. You could see her out of the corner of your eyes as she studied you, as though you were a piece of meat or another object for her to inspect. She looked at you like your mother looked at wool in the store, examining every inch of fabric- her gaze running up from the tip of your messy hair down to your tippy toes, lingering on every tiny scar, scratch and dirt speck on you. You blinked at her in confusion and raised your hand in a small wave.
She didn’t wave back. Rude.
“ Not much meat on this one,” the woman stated, and you felt your body beginning to sway as if the fingers holding you were about to toss you back into the cornfield you had run out from, “Although it’s young and pitiful, it has potential value.”
“Raising cattle is not in my interest, Uraume.” Sukuna was about to toss you back into the cornfield when Uraume spoke up again.
“No, but with the government sticking their fingers in fertility and the number of children-” Uraume cut herself off.
Sukuna followed her trail of thought-” A cute enough brat around can attract concubines and cattle?”
“-Creating a never-ending supply of both!”
You saw them grin at each other, laughing menacingly, and you realised you missed something important. Not that much- if any- of the words they uttered made sense to your child's brain. Still, the way they both suddenly looked at you up and down again made you shudder. You didn’t know what would happen, so all you could do was look between the ground you were hovering above and the cornfield you were sure you would be tossed back into.
“Oj, what’s your name?” Sukuna asked, raising you a little closer to his face. He studied you, studied your expression; instead of a sneer, there was a frown now as if he expected you to scream or throw a temper tantrum.
You blinked back at him calmly; “Y/N?” sounded more like a question than an answer. His red eyes narrowed at you as if waiting for you to add something to your answer.
You didn’t.
He sighed and tossed you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. You let out a low whine, your hungry stomach hurting from the rough contact with his shoulder. But as you heard the echo of your name carry across the cornfield, you quickly ducked your head, growing silent. The two curses heard it, too, and noticed how you turned down in a tense ball on Sukuna’s shoulders. “Well, brat, if you want to get out of here, you better know the way to the demon shrine.”
Your head raised, you frowned a little, then pointed in the direction the two had come from. “Mamma always says it’s on the other end of the forest. Over the spring, turn left, and then you’d see I?”
You felt a pat on your back, a touch that confused you, but you didn’t say anything- you couldn’t. Not when Sukuna called out Uraume’s god-awful navigation skills, and Uraume said it was still a shortcut. No, you stayed silent on Sukuna’s shoulder. The last thing you wanted him to know was that you weren’t sure whether you were supposed to go left or right in the spring... Or were you supposed to cross it, maybe?
You’re sure you’ll figure it out by the time you three got there… maybe…

Author note: A little sweet piece... I wanted to write a post-credit scene (kinda like many years later) but then hesitated. Would you even want to read that?

"Yuu-chan, look! Look! Look!" Y/N orders her vessel abruptly, leaning forward on her throne so hastily she's almost sent tumbling down the pile of skulls; E/C eyes lit up with sparkling excitement.
"Huh?" Itadori pauses, surprised to hear the queen of curses suddenly speaking to him— her having been completely radio silent since she gave Itadori back control earlier.
Y/N blinks open the second set on eyes on Itadori's face— still looking through the main golden set to watch their lover with rapt attention.
Their brief meeting earlier in the ruins of what used to be Shibuya unfortunately had to be short, but Y/N hadn't expected the monk to show up again so soon.
"Yuu-chan! Look at my lover! Aren't they just the coolest?!" Y/N admires, resulting into a sputtering cough from their vessel— eyes blown wide in shock at the queen of curses admission.
"Itadori?" That kid from the Kamo clan (Y/N truly didn't bother to attempt to remember his name), who was standing next to the vessel, questions; unsure of what caused Itadori's sudden look of shock.
"Sorry, uh..." Itadori trails off, opting instead to speak through his head towards the curse rather than flail about trying to come up with an excuse.
'You had a lover?' Itadori questions, the disbelief in his tone making Y/N frown.
'Haah? Why do you seem so surprised?!' Y/N huffs, leaning back against her throne with her eye twitching in annoyance. 'And I have a lover! They aren't dead!'
'Why would anyone want to be with—' Itadori starts to reply but gets cut off.
'Finish that sentence, brat. I dare you.' Y/N scoffs, still looking through Itadori's eyes at their lover as they and that curse with the blood technique fight.
'Anyway! Isn't my lover just the strongest?! Heh~ just look at them!' Y/N laughs to herself, a blush spread across her face. 'They're so pretty!'
Itadori's lips part slightly in sheer disbelief at hearing the lovesick tone dripping off Y/N's voice— sounding completely besotted with the white-haired monk.
'Maybe I should've gotten a ring for them while I was free... Yuu-chan! Gimme control! I need to get something nice for my love!' Y/N demands, mentally hitting herself over the head for not getting anything for Uraume earlier.
'Now is really not the time!' Itadori counters, still in shock about how infatuated Y/N sounds.
'Hmph! Whatever, you're no fun!' Y/N complains, sinking back onto her throne with a childish huff.
Itadori goes to say something— likely a snarky comment, knowing how the brat is —but Y/N cuts their connection off with no more than a lazy wave of her hand.
Maybe once I wring control over this brat's body, then Uraume and I can go on a date~ Like Yuu-chan did that one time! Y/N fantasies, smiling to herself giddily at the idea. Then we can—
Ah. Wait. A frown tug's on Y/N's lips, remembering the demolished state of Shibuya. Fuck.
Maybe she shouldn't have leveled an entire prefecture...

Betrayed Affections ❀ Uraume (REQUESTED) Masterlist Pt 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moon hangs heavy in the night sky, its pale light filtering through the tall windows of the ancient estate. You wander the silent halls, your footsteps barely making a sound on the polished stone floors.
The air is cool, carrying the faint scent of jasmine from the gardens outside. Your thoughts are a whirlwind, your heart a fragile thing, broken and aching in your chest.
Uraume. The name echoes in your mind like a bitter mantra, each repetition a fresh stab of pain. Your lover, your confidant, your trusted companion. You had believed in them, had given them your heart without reservation. And they had taken it, only to shatter it with their betrayal.
You had stumbled upon them in the midst of their treachery, their lips pressed against those of a servant girl, their hands caressing her with the same tenderness they once reserved for you.
The sight had stolen your breath, leaving you frozen in place, disbelief and heartbreak warring within you. When they had finally noticed you, their eyes wide with shock, it had been too late. The damage was done.
Now, with nowhere else to turn, you find yourself standing before the grand doors of your brother's chamber. Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, feared and revered in equal measure. He is your elder brother, your protector, the one constant in your life. Taking a deep breath, you push the doors open and step inside.
The room is dimly lit, the flickering flames of candles casting long shadows on the walls. Sukuna lounges on a throne-like chair, his imposing figure relaxed yet exuding an aura of power. His four eyes, sharp and discerning, flicker up to meet yours as you enter. He takes in your tear-streaked face, the anguish in your eyes, and his expression softens slightly, a rare sight for anyone else but you.
"Brother," you manage to whisper, your voice trembling. "I... I need you."
He rises from his chair, his movements fluid and graceful. As he approaches, you can feel the familiar warmth of his presence, a stark contrast to the cold emptiness that has settled in your heart. Without a word, he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a comforting embrace. For a moment, you allow yourself to melt into his strength, the tears flowing freely.
"What happened?" he asks, his voice a low rumble.
You pull back slightly, just enough to look up at him. "Uraume... they betrayed me. With a servant girl."
For a moment, there's silence as Sukuna's face hardens in anger and there's a trace of pain in his eyes as if he feels the agony in your heart. "They dare to hurt you?" he growls, his voice low and dangerous. "You will not suffer alone, sister."
He holds you until your sobs subside, his presence a solid anchor in your storm of emotions. Despite his fearsome reputation, Sukuna's touch is gentle, his embrace a haven of safety you desperately need. His fingers brush through your hair, and he lets you cry until there's nothing left but a hollow ache in your chest.
"I will make them pay," he promises, his voice soft but laced with steel. "But first, you need to confront them. Show them the strength they underestimated."
"Not today," You murmur. "I fear if I do it today, I shall only cry"
Sukuna nods understandingly, his grip on you loosening just enough to allow you some space. "That is fine, sister," he says, his voice a soothing balm to your wounded soul. "You don't have to confront them until you're ready. Take all the time you need."
You offer him a weak smile, grateful for his unwavering support. "Thank you, Sukuna," you say softly, the words barely above a whisper. "I don't know what I would do without you."
He returns your smile, his four eyes gleaming with warmth. "You will never have to find out," he assures you, his tone filled with conviction. "I will always be here for you, no matter what."
You lean into his embrace once more, drawing strength from his presence. For a while, you simply stand there in silence, the weight of your heartbreak easing ever so slightly in his company.
Eventually, Sukuna pulls back, his hands resting gently on your shoulders as he meets your gaze. "Is there anything else I can do for you, sister?" he asks, his voice gentle yet firm.
You shake your head, a small sigh escaping your lips. "Just... stay with me a little longer," you request, a hint of vulnerability creeping into your voice.
Sukuna nods, a soft smile gracing his lips. "Of course," he says, his tone reassuring. "I'll stay with you as long as you need me."
Tumblr media
When you finally confront Uraume, they are with the servant girl again, their laughter cutting through you like a knife. The room falls silent as you enter, your heart pounding in your chest. Uraume's eyes widen with shock and something else—guilt, perhaps?—as they see you and Sukuna standing together.
"How could you?" you whisper, your voice trembling but determined. "How could you betray me like this?"
Uraume steps forward, reaching out to you, but Sukuna's growl stops them in their tracks. "Don't you dare touch her," he snarls. "You've done enough damage."
Tears well up in your eyes again, but you blink them away, refusing to let Uraume see you break. "I loved you," you say, your voice steadier now. "I trusted you. And this is how you repay me?"
"I... I'm sorry," Uraume stammers, their eyes flicking nervously to Sukuna, whose gaze is fixed on them with murderous intensity. "It was a mistake, a moment of weakness—"
"A mistake?" you echo, incredulous. "A moment of weakness that has been going on behind my back? How long, Uraume? How long have you been betraying me?"
They look down, unable to meet your eyes. "A few months," they admit quietly. "But it meant nothing, I swear—"
"Nothing?" The word feels like a slap. "It meant everything to me. You meant everything to me."
Sukuna steps forward, placing a hand on your shoulder, his presence a calming force. "You don't have to forgive them," he says quietly, his eyes never leaving Uraume's. "And they need to understand the consequences of their actions."
A heavy silence falls over the room. Uraume looks like they want to say more, to plead for your forgiveness, but the presence of your brother seems to hold them in check.
"This is the one?" he asks, his tone deadly as he looks at the servant girl who is cowering in fear.
You nod, unable to tear your gaze away from Uraume's face. "Yes."
In a blur of motion, Sukuna is upon the servant girl. She barely has time to scream before his hand plunges into her chest, tearing out her heart with brutal efficiency. Blood splatters the ground, and the girl's lifeless body crumples at his feet. Uraume watches in horror, their face pale and stricken.
Sukuna turns to Uraume, holding the still-beating heart in his hand before he drops it at Uraume's feet. "This is what you deserve," Sukuna says, his voice cold and final. "Betrayal is met with punishment."
You watch, numb, as Uraume cradles the dead girl in their arms, sobbing. The sight of their pain does little to soothe your own, but there's a grim satisfaction in seeing them suffer for what they've done.
"Her death is your burden to bear," You say to Uraume. "Her blood is on your hands"
When Uraume finally looks up, their eyes red-rimmed and swollen with tears, there's a pleading desperation in their gaze. "My Lady, please," they beg, their voice choked with emotion. "I... I didn't mean for this to happen. I love you, I swear it."
You feel a pang in your chest at their words, a small part of you still clinging to the love you once shared. But it's overshadowed by the overwhelming sense of betrayal, the knowledge that they had chosen someone else over you.
"It's too late for apologies," you say, your voice cold and distant. "You made your choice, Uraume. And now you have to live with the consequences."
Sukuna steps forward, his eyes narrowed in contempt. "Your words are meaningless now," he says, his voice dripping with disdain. "You have proven yourself unworthy of my sister's love. Just as I knew you would"
Uraume's shoulders slump in defeat, the weight of their actions finally settling upon them. They bow their head, unable to meet your gaze. "I understand," they whisper, their voice barely audible. "I deserve whatever punishment you see fit."
"Your punishment is not for me to decide," he says, his eyes flickering to you. "It is for my sister to determine."
You look at Uraume, their form hunched and broken before you, and for a moment, you feel a twinge of pity. But it's quickly overshadowed by the anger and hurt that still simmers within you.
"You will never be forgiven," you say, your voice steady despite the storm of emotions raging inside you. "You are to never serve me personally in this estate, you are to spend your life in servitude to my brother. Whatever he asks of you, you shall do. But know this Uraume, you shall never know love or happiness for as long as I breathe. Any time I see you with a flicker of joy, I shall tear away the source of it"
Sukuna smirks, crossing his arms as he watches you lean down to be eye level with Uraume as poison drips from the words you say.
"There is some darkness in you after all sister," Sukuna says approvingly before he glances at Uraume, his tone turning harsh. "Leave us. Return later to clear up this mess"
As Uraume stumbles away, their steps heavy with the weight of their punishment, you feel a mixture of relief and emptiness wash over you. The air feels heavy with tension as you turn to face Sukuna, his presence towering beside you like a looming shadow.
For a moment, neither of you speaks, the silence stretching between you like a taut thread. Then, Sukuna breaks it with a low chuckle, the sound sending a shiver down your spine.
"You certainly know how to deliver punishment, sister," he says, his voice laced with amusement. "I almost feel sorry for Uraume."
You glance at him, surprised by the hint of amusement in his tone. "You don't think it was too harsh?"
Sukuna shakes his head, his expression serious now. "No," he says firmly. "Uraume betrayed you, and they must face the consequences of their actions. Your punishment was just. I would have executed them"
You nod, a sense of validation washing over you at his words. "Thank you, Sukuna," you say quietly, gratitude colouring your tone.
He reaches out, placing a hand on your shoulder, his touch surprisingly gentle. "You don't have to thank me, sister," he says, his voice softening. "I will always stand by your side, no matter what."
You feel a lump form in your throat at his words, a swell of emotion threatening to overwhelm you. Sukuna may be feared by many, but to you, he is more than just the King of Curses. He is your brother, your protector, the one constant in your life.
"I don't know what I would do without you," you admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
Sukuna's grip tightens slightly, a reassuring squeeze that fills you with warmth. "You will never have to find out," he says, his gaze steady and unwavering. "I will always be here for you, sister. Always."

Sukuna x f!Reader
In which Sukuna brings home child Uraume — 2
<— previous
It was your scream piercing through the forest that had Sukuna dropping everything and speeding up his steps.
He was coming back from a hunt while you and Uraume were walking through the woods, foraging for ingredients.
It's been a few weeks since Uraume joined you both and since then, you had showered them with nothing but love and affection. Like the child you always wanted.
Sukuna, on the other hand, was teaching the kid how to properly control their technique. It wasn't something he would ever do for anyone but he has grown to... have a soft spot for Uraume.
But when he dashed through the woods and arrived at the scene, Sukuna would never admit the way his heart sank at what he saw.
Ice.
Ice everywhere.
With you slumped against a tree, shaking uncontrollably while Uraume was next to you in tears, screaming and crying as they apologised profusely. Half of your body was covered in ice.
"No! No! My lady, please! I—I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do this! It was an accident—!" The child wailed. Memories of the frozen corpses of their parents rushing through their head.
It was just like that time.
"What have you done?" Sukuna's angered voice had Uraume backing away in fear as he got closer.
Your husband was by you in an instant, taking you in his arms. His eyes raked over your body to assess the damage. He quickly used his RCT to heal you. His heart was in his throat and he didn't stop until color returned to your face and your breathing was even.
You were going to be okay.
You were going to be okay but Sukuna was not going to let this go so easily. You... His everything... was harmed. Had almost brushed against the brink of death.
But when he looked up at Uraume with a rage of a furious storm, he paused.
The child was bowing deeply against the forest ground, body uncontrollably shaking from sobs and their little fists digging into the dirt as they repeated the same thing over again.
"I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I didn't mean—I-I didn't mean to hurt her—!"
And those words stirred something inside Sukuna. A memory. A memory he had buried deep into his mind and vowed to never look back upon ever again.
Of a small, deformed child who had just discovered his dangerous technique.
"How could you do this?!"
"Please, I'm sorry!"
"Do you think sorry will fix this?! Will fix the damage you caused?!"
"I didn't mean to! Mother, I swear—"
"Stay away from me, you wretched thing!"
"Monster!"
"Four eyed demon!"
"He'll bring a curse upon our village!"
"Kill that deformed thing! Kill it—"
"Enough. Stand up and let's go."
"B-But my lady is—"
"She's fine."
The walk back to home was quiet. Uraume had expected their punishment the moment they stepped into the house. But after Sukuna had gently laid you on the futon, the punishment never came.
Instead, the King of Curses placed his large hand on top of the child's head and scowled disapprovingly.
"Brat, did you not get what I taught you? Focus on a single damn point and breathe. That way you'll be able to control your technique. Now—"
Sukuna lead Uraume outside again and stopped a few feet away from a deer and a fawn.
"Kill the fawn and only the fawn." The man ordered.
Uraume was in disbelief. They had fully expected a punishment for what they did but when they looked at Sukuna, there was no malice in his eyes. Instead, impatience clouded those bloodied rubies as he tapped his large foot on the ground, waiting for the moment the child would do something.
With an impossibly warmed heart Uraume turned to the fawn with a smile and followed the malevolent king's instruction.
--
You awoke a few hours later, eyes blinking up at the ceiling as memories of what happened slowly came back. Your heart sank and you tried to get up.
You had to find Uraume. The poor child!
But then you felt small cold arms secured tightly around you. Uraume was curled next you as they slept.
You calmed down and smiled tenderly, running your fingers across their snowy locks.
"They refuse to leave your side."
You looked over to see your husband leaning against the door frame. Your smile widened and you reached out to him.
Sukuna didn't hesitate, pushing himself off and walking over to you. He sat down next to you on the floor and took your delicate hand in his large one.
"I'm surprised they're even at my side."
Sukuna grunted. "They can control their technique now. So expect the brat to be glued to you more often."
You laughed softly. "Oh? And does that have something to do with you, my lovely husband?"
Of course it did because he simply refused to look at you and gave you a mere shrug. He was embarrassed. You could tell.
"My lady...?"
You turned your focus to a sleepy Uraume, gazing at you with an apologetic look.
"My lady, I'm sorry..."
You shushed them, stroking their hair affectionately. "Hush now, little one. It wasn't your fault. Sleep, okay? I'm here..."
Sukuna looked on at you and Uraume quietly. You, his beautiful wife, whispering soothing words to the child who, moments ago, was nothing but terrified of who they were.
And then he thought back to the little deformed boy with four eyes and arms running away with a tear streaked face from a mother who begged the villagers to kill him.
He knew that boy was at peace now.

——You would rather die a thousand times over than become Naoya Zenin’s wife.
Something unorthodox must’ve plagued the mind of your parents this morning because there is simply no way they’d worked up such an audacity to happily relay this information to you. You were to be wed in six months time and yet, this is your first time hearing of such a proposal.
Hell, you hadn’t even received a literal proposal from this alleged fiancé of yours so, who exactly was orchestrating such a wedding and why had you no say nor awareness in it before now?
“You two are humoring me right now, yes?” Your voice had carried throughout the space of the throne room with such grace that all the attendees of this rather small gathering couldn’t help but have their eyes drawn to you.
The few maids, guards at their posts within the room, your own mother and father who sat oh-so-comfortably upon their thrones, and the few others who were allowed to be in this space as such information was presented to you. Being the one to have ripped the bandage off and relayed said information to you recently, your mother cannot help but find her eyes drifting over to her husband for help.
The two exchange a knowing glance and you watch as they swallow down whatever nerves may have rested center in their throats. Then, your father’s shoulders raise ever so slightly and he averts his eyes over to you.
Voicing your name in that aged gruff tone of his, followed by a slight clearing of his throat, he begins to break the wafted air of silence. “You must understand that this is for the betterment of our nation. We rival none aside from the eastern nation so, naturally, it is only in our best interest to have you wed with the heir to the Zenin family throne.”
You scoff, openly. Eyes widen around the room and looks are exchanged by many but how do people expect you to react to this? Are you meant to be joyous about marrying the most pompous individual across all the lands, a man of which you have only ever encountered maybe two or three times in all your years of living?? Yeah, fuck that.
“So, I am meant to marry this man in six months' time, the engagement will be officially announced at tonight’s ball, and I haven’t a single say in this entire ordeal?” You breathe out carefully, your head tilting and eyes narrowing at the worried eyes of your parents.
Your mother responds with a shaky sigh, “Darling, we hadn’t any choice in this either. Our only options were to marry you off or go to war and we do not have the defenses to—”
“They threatened us?” You interrupt, another act that receives appalled looks from those spectating. “Please tell me you jest, mother. What could the East possibly hope to gain from going to war with us? We’ve been at peace for years and now all of a sudden—”
“Permission to speak,” Chimes another voice. Your eyes flick to your father’s left, landing on the one man he trusts with his life more than anyone else, your nation’s military general; Masamichi Yaga. “Your Highness.” He finishes off, gaze firm on the area of which you stand.
You take a moment to stare, taking in his roughened appearance despite the uniform that fits him so snuggly. Without realizing it, your eyes rake over his form up and down about twice before he clears his throat to break your lingering stare. “Granted,” You eventually allow with a nod of your head.
Yaga straightens up where he stands and exchanges a look of knowing with your father before he speaks loud and clear, “You are the princess of the second largest nation in our continent.” He states with a slightly quirked brow.
Which prompts you only to roll your eyes a bit.
“I believe you out of anyone else should understand the natural target that is placed on your back. Especially considering you are also the only princess in said continent. You’ve been at the age liable for marriage for a few years now and the reality of this has finally set in. The marriage itself is to join the East nation and the West into one. Should you refuse Naoya’s hand, he would simply join the two nations by…” A slight grimace is noticed within his expression, “Force.”
Yet another scoff falls softly from your lips, “You say this to me as if he is incapable of marrying a man. Surely, someone like Prince S—”
“Now is not the time to joke, my lady.” Yaga interrupts as gently as he can, “He could very well go on and marry into one of the other royal families but they do not rule over our nation, now do they? The east is the largest of them all, our sole rival. Do you not see the importance of this marriage taking place? It is either that or war and, as our queen has so clearly told you, we do not have the defenses to—”
“And what of the other nations? The north? The south? Hell, even the smallest out there; Middom? Is it not possible for us to rally our defenses with them and..” Your voice trails to an eventual fall as you notice the look on Yaga’s face. He doesn’t even have to cut you off this time for you to realize this conversation isn’t going anywhere.
You exhale and turn to your royal adviser who’s at your right side. Wide-set eyes and all, Higuruma merely offers you a nod of his head to silently console you. Like everyone else in this damn room, he was pleading for you to simply let this go and follow along with things like some pawn in everyone else’s game.
“You would rather go to war and risk the lives of thousands than marry this man?” Yaga adds on to question.
Your lips quirked and you looked at him again, “Do you want my honest answer to that?”
“No, I would like your noble answer.” He replies dryly.
“Tch.” You huff, your face flattening. “Of course I would do anything to avoid war, I am not cruel. But I do hope all of you realize what joint nations entail for our future—their laws and customs will be indoctrinated into our society overnight. And if you think I will have any influence over that then you clearly know not of the man I am to marry. The words of a woman carry no weight with him.”
Your father is the next to speak up, “We are well aware of what this means for our future. But, it is either that or… death.”
With a crisp, yet obviously faux smile, you nod to that. “Right. Well, if that is all,” You begin to bow your head for respect, “Mother, Father, I shall excuse myself.”
Then you swivel around to make your exit, only to be stopped by the queen’s voice once more. “That is all?” She asks.
You paused in your steps but did not turn back to face her. “I’m unsure of what other argument you expect from me, mother. I either marry him or we go to war, what more could I possibly say to that?”
The sound of her sighing can be heard. It was almost as though she’d truly expected or maybe even anticipated a longer refute from you. “...Just,” Her words come out in a slow fashion and you get the feeling that she may be able to read your thoughts. “None of your schemes tonight, please? If you’re truly on board with this then don’t do anything brash—”
“I wouldn’t dare.” You cut off rather rudely, turning slightly to then cut your eye at her. “Now, if you will excuse me.”
No more words are exchanged as you hastily make your way out of the room, only the sounds of your heels echoing through the large archways and halls heard as you do so.
· · ──────── ·𖥸· ──────── · ·
Moments after you’d made your exit, two people had now taken your sides and followed rather closely behind you. Too nervous to say anything just yet, they both simply follow your hurried steps toward wherever you were off to without a word.
One was your knight, who’d always followed close behind you since your teenage days, willing to throw herself into the face of death at any given moment simply for your sake. Tall, fit, blond, with a set of brown eyes any person could easily find themself lost in, stood Yuki Tsukumo proudly wearing that pristine royal guard uniform as her steps mirrored your own in speed.
Beside her was that pleasant royal advisor of yours, Higuruma Hiromi. Also quite tall (who wasn’t these days), wide, tired eyes, and a voice that typically drives you insane with annoyance given the number of lectures you’d received by it—he was careful to trail after you, given all that’d recently transpired.
It’s a long walk of silence before your beloved knight breaks it. “I assume things went unwell back there?” Yuki hums cautiously as she fully takes your right side, leaving Higuruma slightly behind you.
“Your assumption would be correct,” You huff almost instantly as if you’d been waiting for either of them to say something to you. “I am to be wed in six months.”
Seeing as Yuki wasn’t exactly in the room while things were explained to you, she’d hardly a clue as to what had you pacing down the halls in such a determined fashion as you did currently. “Wed? Six months?? To whom?” She rushed out in alarm, her expression quick to contort into deep concern and alarm.
“The heir to the Zenin throne,” You say with a long sigh following shortly after.
“You can say his name y’know,” Higuruma comments before appropriately taking your left side.
You roll your eyes, “I would rather drop dead.”
At that, his feet come to a sudden halt and you and Yuki follow suit. “My lady, I know you are not fond of your… situation, but, what else can we do by this point? He will officially propose tonight and unless you can find another prince to do so before him in the next few hours then—”
It was like a literal lightbulb had gone off above that tiara-adorned head of yours, sparking Yuki’s eyes to rake over the excitement that washed against your features.
“Oh my, that’s brilliant.” You gasp with a turn to your recently spoken advisor.
“I simply cannot imagine how—pardon?” He choked, “You do know he is the only member of a royal family attending tonight, right? You couldn't possibly hope to… find a better suitor beforehand and even if you did, his highness would not have it.”
Every word of his seems to go through one ear and out the other as you take a step closer to him, flash a smile, and then move your hand to his arm. “My finest of gratitude to you, Sir. Higuruma.”
His eyes seem to widen with pure confusion. “...I do not understand.”
“You play your role as my advisor well, thank you.” You proceed, not caring to elaborate in the slightest. Then you turn away and begin walking again, “I know what I must do.”
His feet stammer to follow you once more, “And what might that be, my lady? You promised your mother–, the queen, that you wouldn’t do anything brash.”
“It willn’t be ‘brash’ at all.” You chirp simply.
“Then what—”
Pausing only one last time, you glance back at your awfully confused advisor and send him a reassuring grin. “Have my lady-in-waiting arrive to my room within the hour, I have a ball to prepare for.”
With that, your walk continues. Higuruma tries to follow you but he’s stopped by a hand meeting his chest. His brows pinch together just as he looks down, finding Yuki’s palm hovering over his chest in a silent motion to get him to stop.
He then looks at her and opens his mouth to protest against everything that’d just happened but with a simple shake of her head before he could even get a word out, his shoulders sink and he ends up turning away with a huff.
· · ──────── ·𖥸· ──────── · ·
An hour does, in fact, fly by before you find yourself in the confines of your bedroom. With your feet meeting the soft cushions of a small stool, your head held high, and your mouth moving at such a rapid pace, you’d been venting to your lovely lady-in-waiting from the moment she’d arrived in your room.
“And the worst part of it all? If I am to marry that man then I will later be expected to carry an hier—fuck,” Your voice is cut short with a low curse as the strings securing the corset part of your dress are only pulled tighter from behind you. Your back straightens up a bit more than before and your voice pitches to a higher and breathier degree, “‘Hime, that’s… hah, too tight-, I can hardly breathe.”
She perks up from behind you and releases the strings from her grasp entirely, “Ah, I am so sorry, my lady!” The maiden gasps softly. Her fingers then trail upward along the fabric weaving through the corset holes and you feel her making steady adjustments. “I was so caught up in that story of yours that I uhm,” She loosens an area or two, allowing you a moment to breathe. “Got carried away… How’s this—better?”
You release a long exhale as your shoulders relax, “It’s much better now, as far as breathability is concerned. But,” Your eyes linger on the nearby propped up mirror and you ogle your figure closely. “Well, now it is too loose.”
In the mirror’s reflection, you notice those violet locks of hair resting atop her head sway to the right as her head tilts to study your figure from her angle better. “Hm. I see.” She utters to herself before taking hold of those strings once more. “I’m going to tighten it again, are you ready for it this time?”
With a nod, you glance back at her and raise your thumb up. “Mhm, pull until I say stop.”
Her hands begin to do just that, slowly pulling the strings to tighten the piece once more. As she gives her softened tugs, her eyes lift to your face and she watches the way a hitched breath leaves your lips. “Too tight?”
“Did I say stop?” You ask lightheartedly.
She shakes her head, “No, but–”
“Utahime,” You breathe her entire name so suddenly that her hands come to a halt immediately. “Keep pulling.”
Probably with some form of nervousness under your direct gaze and commanding tone, her head drops and she focuses her eyes back down to her hands—giving you one firm tug that makes your body jerk backward ever so slightly. You gasp, again, and this time a hand of yours moves back to grab her wrist.
“Right there,” You utter, “That is perfect, thank you.”
Utahime stares at your grasp on her wrist for a moment longer than necessary before clearing her throat and sealing that tightly pulled fabric with an appropriate knot. Then, she removes her hands from your dress entirely and takes a step back. “Well uh-, as you were saying, my lady?”
You’re busy twisting and turning slightly to gather your appearance in the mirror before you respond, oblivious to the nearby eyes also gathering your frame. “Oh, yes, I would be expected to deliver an heir not too long after I am married. Knowing my parents and the Zenin family, both I and the man I am to marry would ascend the throne mere weeks after the wedding. The very next thing that follows that would be…”
“Having his child,” Utahime finishes for you, her voice disappointed—for your sake. “I’m sorry to hear of this, truly. I wish there were something I could do to help.”
You chuckle before stepping off of that small stool you’d been posted upon, striding over to your nearby dresser, and popping open a box of jewelry. “Fret not, ‘Hime,” You console with a dismissive wave of your hand. “I will not marry any Zenin man. Not in this life, nor the next.”
She paces over to you and dips her hand into that recently opened box, “So, what will you do?”
“Good question.” Protrudes Yuki, who’s been leaning against the doorframe of your bedroom listening for quite some time now. “I am really just dying to know what that big plan of yours is.” She scoffs, earning your glance. She nods her chin to you slightly, “I saw the look in your eyes earlier so, tell me, princess… what’re you plannin’?”
The smile that spreads across your face was much too bright for you to fight, “Like everyone else, you two will find out tonight.”
Your knight’s eyes roll as she pushes off the frame and begins to approach you and Utahime. “Awh, don’t do that. The last ‘scheme’ you pulled off—”
“Got you your current position as my knight, if I’m not mistaken, Lady Tsukumo.” You adjourn as Utahime swipes up the corresponding jewelry to your dress and begins to assist in accessorizing you.
Yuki only gets closer before posting herself against the wall nearest to the dresser you stand at. She gives you a firm stare, receiving a matching one from you, before instead focusing her gaze on the necklace currently being fastened around your neck. “Touché. But it was reckless.”
“Harmless,” You correct with a shrug. “I mean, really, God forbid a woman gets what she wants through slightly drastic measures.”
She looks around the room for a moment before tutting. “You put yourself in harm's way just to test my capabilities.”
“I put myself in harm’s way to prove your capabilities to those who doubted,” You correct for a second time, flawlessly. “Plus, that was years ago. I won’t go to any lengths like that this time around, the safety of my nation is on the line. Just know I have an idea I may act on.”
Yuki can’t help the worry etched onto her face as she only questions you further, “And this idea is safe?”
Smiling still, “No ideas are ‘safe’ for women in this day and age.” You remind her.
Silence befalls upon the room and even Utahime’s fingers pause on the clasp of your necklace that she’d been struggling with for the past few minutes. Her eyes soon glide over to Yuki and they exchange a look, their thoughts mutual within the quietude.
After that briefness passes, Yuki’s voice softens and she leans toward you ever so slightly, “So then, perhaps you shouldn’t act on it?”
Your face twists up as if you were offended, “And marry that coxcomb?” To which Utahime snorts. “Over our dead bodies.” You huff.
The air seems to have lightened up and Yuki grins, “‘Our’..?”
“You’ve said you would die for me, yes?”
She hums, “Without hesitation.”
“Then, yes, our.”
Utahime’s accessorizing comes to an end as she finally gets that clasp in order and takes a step back—pulling you to turn around to face her, and then taking in your prepared appearance. “Perfect.” She chirps.
“Gorgeous,” Yuki adds beneath her breath with a faint cock of her head.
You’re left smiling at the hushed compliments from the two before hearing a telling knock on your bedroom door, followed by the voice of someone informing you that guests are beginning to arrive for tonight's event. You hadn’t even realized how much time you’d spent venting to Utahime and getting ready for the dreaded ball and now, the sun was on its journey to set and it was time for said ball to actually take place.
Sometimes, you forget how fast time seems to move when you are in distress. You soon reply to the quick announcement you’d been given and you and your two accompanying ladies begin to make haste toward exiting your bedroom.
Faint worry remains on both Utahime and Yuki’s face as they follow your lead but they make no more vocal arguments about it. Yuki trusts your judgement, to some degree, and Utahime is moreso frightened for what the future holds for you regarding this arrangement.
· · ──────── ·𖥸· ──────── · ·
All doubts and worries entirely aside, by the time you indulge yourself in the festivities of the ball graciously hosted by your parents, your internalized fear for how things may go seems to fade. That timeless ballroom music you’d been surrounded by all your life floats through the air along with the sound of laughter and chatter from the lavish guests who’ve traveled from all over just to be here.
These glorified parties are a repetitive cycle you’ve been forced to grow accustomed to but, you’ve never minded them much until today. The entire time you socialized with the many aristocrats and members of high-class families, you couldn’t help but feel anxious. No one seemed to mention Naoya or his family to you, which led you to wonder if earlier that morning had merely been some lucid nightmare of yours…
Surely if this engagement were to take place tonight and had been planned out long before you were privy to it, someone would have mentioned it or even asked if you were excited for it by now. Unless all those around you were just as aware as you are of how dreadful a family the Zenins were..?
Or hell, maybe people were told not to say anything to you—
It’s then that someone bumps into your back, nearly causing you to choke on the bubbly beverage you’d been sipping on for the past few minutes. And just when you thought you’d scored a moment of peace for yourself…
An overwhelming sum of cologne slithers into your nose and although the smell is quite pleasant, clearly its wearer had sprayed far too much on themself—leading you to cough in an attempt to clear both your nose and your throat. Then, with an arm raised slightly over your face, you turn to whoever just bumped into you.
You don’t know what hits you first, the abrupt sight of him or that grating tone of his. “I swear you people have no sense of awareness. Has your sense of sight failed you, leaving you unable to see that I was clearly—oh,” Naoya grouses, his upper lip lifting faintly in a twinge of disgust. “It’s you.” He diverts, silently revoking his words prior out of what little respect he holds for you.
As unfortunate as it is, you have to drag your gaze upward to meet his. Just then, you mentally curse whoever's responsible for his mere existence because it should truly be a crime to be that painfully attractive, especially considering how all that typically flies out the window the moment he opens his mouth. You think your breath hitches at first sight of him.
Perhaps it was the proximity, considering he’d just bumped into you and made no efforts to back away after but, either way, he is undeniably… quite handsome. You have to blink thrice to register that this is the same rude man you’d last seen years ago, who you definitely do not remember being this… yeah, you won’t be throwing him any more compliments—albeit they’re all mental, as of now.
In the same way you seem to be taken aback by his appearance, he unconsciously weighs his head to the side as he drinks-, more like, gulps in your appearance. His eyes run up and down your face at least four times before he looks further down, in an attempt to glance at the necklace you have on, only to find himself leering at your chest and whatever cleavage you had visible. And, to say the least, if anything is mutual between the two of you, it’s definitely the attraction.
You decide to work up your usual confidence to speak, having reminded yourself who exactly you're looking at right now. “My eyes are up—“
“I know where your eyes are, woman.” Naoya cuts off with such a quickness that your head cocks back in immediate offense. But, before you can say anything else, he clears his throat and you watch him squeeze his eyes shut. “Pardon me,” He grits out, the words sounding as though it pained him to speak them. “I wasn’t expecting you to be so…” His eyes flutter open and he inhales strongly before cutting his intake off with a cough. “Close.” Is the last word he breathes out to you.
Your eyes remain on him and his every facial shift—the way he pulls his head back, takes another deep breath, bats his lashes elsewhere for a moment, brings his fist to his lips to cough again, and then shakes himself out of whatever that all was. You’re left unsure of what his body language translates to but you don’t believe you have it in you to care considering the way he starts talking again.
“Anyway,” Noaya straightens up where he stands and finally looks down at you (literally and mentally), “Let’s make this quick since I’ve finally found you, yeah?”
You raise a brow and move to cross your arms, “Does that imply that you were searching for me?”
His lips twitch, “No.”
“Some fiancé you’ll be…” You grumble out to him, to which he snorts.
“Just lend me your hand so I can propose, we’ve eyes on us.” He tells you rather quickly and quietly. You didn’t even realize how long your attention was on him before you blinked and looked around, finding the eyes of many lingering on you and him.
Oh. So people were aware of his upcoming proposal…
With a heavy sigh, you glance at him once more and he’s got this cunning look plastered all over his face. “I believe a man is to drop down on one knee to propose, no?” You ask almost dryly.
Naoya’s brows twist up, “You expect me to get on my knees for the likes of you?”
You shrug off his rudeness, “How else are you to propose?”
“You give me your hand and I slide this ring on your finger,” He tells you with a steadily lowering voice, dipping a hand into his pocket.
You honestly cannot believe the constant audacity that simply oozes off of this man. It’s as though he expects everything in his life to be served to him on a silver platter. “I will offer out my hand to no man who refuses to at least get down on one knee for me.” You tell him simply, your confidence not wavering in the slightest.
His left eye twitches in pure irritation. “I refuse to do anything ‘for you’.”
“Then I refuse to marry you.” You shrug.
He scoffs right in your face, “You haven’t the liberty.”
You huff back, “How can I be expected to marry a man who’s yet to propose?”
“You—“ Naoya grits his teeth and looks to the high ceilings for a moment before groaning slightly. He eventually returns his eyes to you and you can tell he’s over this entire thing. “Does compliance come this difficult for all women?”
“Does arrogance come this naturally from all men?” It’s from here that the two of you glare each other down while bickering back and forth as if it were second nature.
“Must you have a rebuttal for everything I say?”
“Depends on how long you take to propose to me like a proper gentleman.”
He pauses for a split second before sassily rolling his eyes, “You irritate me.”
“I’ve hardly done anything,” You reply with a lighthearted chuckle.
“Is shutting up something you’re incapable of?”
Dismissing him for the first time, you begin to look elsewhere. “Are you going to propose or not? I don’t have all night.”
Naoya swears he’s seconds away from tossing the ring in his hands into the nearest trashcan and declaring war because surely that would be much simpler than getting you to go along with things, “Don’t rush me.”
“You’re the one who said to make this quick,” You remind the man, noticing the distant gaze of both your parents and his.
The prince in front of you grits his teeth again, “I—“
“So hurry up.” Your hand waves in a dismissive manner as you turn your head back to him, “Get on your knees, Zenin.”
He’s clearly physically incapable of accepting any sort of orders from you without having anything to say so, “Address me by my first name.” Is what leaves his lips shortly after.
“I will not.” You deny.
He flashes a knowing smirk, “You must.”
“Or what?”
“Or I will discard this act of peace and declare w—“
“Fine,” You choke out, almost in fear. “Naoya… if you wish for me to be your wife in six months' time then you will drop to one knee and propose to me, properly.”
He finally begins to lower down to one knee, speaking in a harsh whisper, “The excess was unnecessary.”
“I care little of what you deem unnecessary.” You utter right back.
“I care little about you.”
“Good.”
Whipping the ring out quickly and assuming the perfect position below you, he glares, “Be my wife.”
You wish you had a way to capture how he looks right now. Naoya being on his knees is a sight no one can say they’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing before so, naturally, many of the onlookers begin to gasp and share gossiping whispers to one another.
You keep your voice low but many watch your mouth move, “Is that how you propose? No wonder you’ve yet to find a woman before me…”
Naoya’s fingers pinch the ring held up to you tighter and you notice a vein pop out along his sharp jawline, “This arrangement was not by my personal choice. Now, do me… the honor, and…” He waits a moment before raising his voice so that those nearby can hear, “Marry me.”
You deadpan, “It sounds like you’re demanding me—“
“Jesus-, fuck, woman!” He curses unintentionally with a momentary drop of his head. Before you can let out the laugh his reaction invokes, he flips his gaze right back up to you and looks you dead in the eye as he speaks in a firm tone, “Will you marry me?”
For the first time since he’s ever known you, you smile at him—causing his body to feel… weird. He thinks he hates that stupidly gorgeous spread of lips and flash of teeth that starks across your face. Then, your hand is held out to him and you nod. “I suppose.”
He narrows his eyes at you and doesn’t move.
You roll your own. “Yes, I… accept your proposal.”
Not wasting any more time whatsoever, Naoya practically shoves the ring onto your finger, his touch oddly as smooth as silk against you. “Finally. Now—“
“Under one condition.” You add on with a very slight retraction of your hand.
“Condition??” His brows meet and his eyes frantically travel over to where both your parents stand, “I was not informed that this would come with any—“
“No one knew of any until now,” You say as you lean down a bit.
He groans, “What is it?”
It’s almost as though there was some sort of shift within your tone. As Naoya moves his eyes back to you, he finds your entire presence wildly different in comparison to a few seconds ago. And the darkened look you hold in your eyes, the way that smile of yours had yet to fade—just what could you possibly have planned in that feeble mind of yours??
“I would like to curate a harem for myself during our engagement,” You requested.
Naoya fights internally to hold back the shocked laugh he’d almost let out in your face, “Why am I not surprised the wench wishes for a harem of all things…”
You let out an offended breath, “Excuse me—“
“Sure,” He scoffs, sizing you up and down as he quickly raises to his feet. “You can make your lil’ harem. Run around and tarnish your reputation all you want but, that will not be enough for me to end this engagement.”
Back up to his feet, he finds himself looming toward you and surprised by how unmoving you are, “I don’t plan on it.”
Naoya only inches closer, “Must every last word be yours?” He asks, breath fanning over your skin with a faint scent of… mint?
You respond silently with a thin-lipped smile, mentally discarding how you keep picking up on such small details.
To which a vein in his forehead makes a sudden appearance, “Oh you little—“
“Let us all congratulate the happy couple!” A voice, Higuruma’s, chimes in, “A joyous union this’ll be for our nations!” He announces quickly.
People rush to swarm you and Naoya within seconds, celebratory wishes and congratulations thrown at you from left and right as if this was truly some big surprise. Perhaps it was the fact that Naoya was actually able to propose to you and you were able to accept it without… anything else taking place instead.
So, you suppose you have something to celebrate now. Your request for a harem was approved without any question whatsoever. Perfect. You may not have had the time to get anyone of royal status to propose to you before Naoya did, especially considering it would take an act of love for someone to do so in the first place but, you sure as hell just bought yourself some.
