I remember when I thought - as did a lot of the villain fandom, iirc - that part of Toga’s resolution/saving would address her desire to become other people as a manifestation of her love. Put it another way, her associating ‘love’ with ‘wanting to be someone else’ was a core issue, that she had a mistaken idea of love; that Toga doesn’t actually like herself much (because her parents told her she was a demon, because quirk counseling told her not to be herself, because society was leaving her to die), hence wanting to be, instead, a person she likes. Her saving would be something like, she realizes she doesn’t need to be other people; she realizes her love can be expressed differently; she comes to love herself.

But then the story said, No, Toga is perfectly fine drinking blood and turning into other people as love. She loved herself all along! Truly, it was society that was wrong. Her quirk is great and brings her joy, which it should! Drinking blood is fine! She can wield her knife with love. If her way of love is turning into other people and performing blood transfusions, that’s how her love is, and she should live as herself like that, and that’s👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼.

She’s Toga Himiko, should be allowed to do whatever she wants, a totally normal girl, with the cutest smile in the world, and that’s wonderful.

This part right here of Uraraka is so wholesome to me. It's not even just her remembering her own acceptance into Yuuei, but to me it also serves as a callback to Midoriya’s acceptance as well because she vouched for him, he saved her and in turn she wanted to give her points to him.

Like this girl is just so precious, she is so kind, she is great! 💞
