what is up my gang of 5 cm enjoyers . today i bring u the biblically accurate movie subs in which i:

fixed a bunch of weirdly translated lines and reworded them to be closer to the original japanese dialogue

added translations for almost nearly every visible word on screen

included the lyrics from gimme gimme and shinon for added viewing experience

download the subtitle file here! to view the subs, first open ur movie file (which if u dont have then definitely dont click here) in vlc player, then go to subtitles -> add subtitle file -> select the movie_subs file and there u have it. and if theres any issues with downloading the file, displaying the subs, the syncing w video etc etc pls lemme know :0 alright im skittering away again

🌸｡*ﾟ+. Life update under the cut! But in summary I've been busy but haven't forgotten the blog and will hopefully be in a better spot to focus on tumblr this next coming month! Have a lovely day everyone~!

Been working on my carrd teeny tiny bit by bit, but boy howdy does moving and all that comes with it take it out of me (preparing to move, the act of moving, and settling in) !! Good news though, I'll finally get my own room on the 31st, so I'll finally have space to set up my PC this coming September and get back to working on blog stuff! c: I've just been drained and busy and pulled so many different directions in such a small amount of time, that I'm just kinda not focused whenever I do have time to sit down and type stuff. I usually just wanna turn my brain off and games or nap.

Still gotta keep job hunting, repaint the room (it's my old room actually! And my cousin left it a downright mess... the walls are so scuffed ;; ;;), move everything in, and set everything up... and then I'll finally be able to start recouping properly! Came back from a trip to Disney with my sisters (that was fun!) and then I get to see The Fluffy on stage this coming Saturday, so the excitement is far from over for me-- not that it's a bad thing! I'm just... really eager to have a moment of... peace after all this pffft~ still looking forward to it, of course! I'm SO excited !!

I've also been sick with the plague (hurray) so I must have caught it whilst on the plane or during my time at Disney :c so my brain has been so scrambled and fried (just ask anyone who's been playing Overwatch with me this passed week LOL) Tina and Snow know firsthand.

All in all, I'm just really eager to do more than just play xbox and stare blankly at a wall all day, and instead, finally feel like myself again where I can reply to Guilded & Discord rp's, type more carrd bios, and then to also have my PC where I can make pretty graphics and get things flowing again!

Guys, I have to admit something. You may think less of me because of it and I understand if you leave, but felt it best to be upfront with it than not.

I...was in the Hetalia fandom. I know a tragedy. It's been years since I moved on. I was really in the fandom during 2015/2016, which dwindled in 2017. I wrote and read fics for that fandom, drew fanart that I never posted online and never will, and made ocs. I've become a better person since then, but I cannot say that present me wouldn't be where I am today without it. I cosplayed one character from the show, Iceland and had casually worn his fit to school. I wasn't a part of that side of the fandom, I didn't even know about it until years later.

I have since grown to know that the show is extremely problematic and harmful and have since distanced myself from it and the fandom. I thank the it for the few short-term friends I had made through it and the Wattpad dms, but I will continue to bash the show if ever brought up in conversation.

For those who read all of this, thank you. Also, this is meant to be a joke. I feel that fandoms people were a part of when they were kids don't define a person for who they are today or even a fandom someone was in over 5 years ago. Like I was a fan of Blood Lad in that same time period, thought it was so cool; My partner and I watched it this year and it was funny, but in a 'it's so bad it's funny' way. People grow and they change. I'm not the same person I was 2 years ago, much less 5.

So I decided to restart my animal crossing new leaf for the 3ds file completely but I didn't know that Tom Nook would OFFER TO BUY the entire town and let you carry over the money to the new town and it's hysterical because the mayor basically peaces out, cashes in on 30 million bells, changes entire identity, and accidentally becomes the mayor in a new town. There's a fanfic there but I'm too lazy to write it.

Summary:

Cami has one wish. To get accepted to the arts program at her father’s alma mater. But after facing constant rejections from magazines to publish her work and being told her drawings are “too detached” and “impersonal”, she decides the time for idealism is over. Convinced to give things another chance, she enrolls in an art class to improve her skill - but lack of talent isn’t what’s blocking her art. It’s everything she’s locked inside her. 

The loss of her father a year prior. Suppressed resentment toward her mother. Guilt. Refusal to let anyone close. Main characters

Cami Meyers (she/her): can typically be found drawing in her sketchbook or hanging out at the Vinyl Yard, where she works, fawning over new records. insists she's fine if anyone asks, but she's stopped talking to all her friends (except Mira) because she knows they expect her to be normal and she no longer knows what that means, and whenever she goes for a run she ends up pushing herself past her limit in order to feel something other than guilt and grief. those who've encountered her can tell she has a big heart, which is probably why she guards it so heavily.

Mira Fakhoury (she/her): falls quickly and uncontrollably head over heels for girls and wonders why the male species even bothers trying. loyal as hell when you earn her trust. views Cami as her long-lost sister and is ride or die for her. acts tough, confident and free-spirited but if you raise your voice at her or direct your anger/disappointment toward her she will freeze and turn fragile due to past ✨ trauma ✨ Spencer Henderson (he/him) pisses off everyone he talks to. either gives direct/blunt/sarcastic responses or answers a question with a question because deflection. can't be asked to be nice to anyone because what's the point. usually has his head buried in a book and/or earphones in. feels hopeless about his life and future. hates depending on people and believes no one out there cares whether or not he's alive. grows frustrated and confused when Cami suddenly shows him compassion despite the fact that they've constantly been at each other's throats since day one. irritated that she keeps catching him off guard and that he doesn't totally hate talking to her...

Vince Garcia (he/him): resident himbo. doesn't take himself or life too seriously. known around town as a ladies man and it's certainly possible that that has earned him a slap in the face or two. but maybe that's what he wants. it's so much easier to self-sabotage when you've convinced yourself you don't deserve to find love again. not after what happened. Cami is the first to see through his facade; she's cute and intrigues him and he's determined to wear her down whether she likes it or not. he may be a little too carefree, but no one can say he isn't persistent.

Side characters

Eli Owens (he/him): best friends with Cami's brother. has had a thing for Cami since he first met her. thinks she's the coolest girl he's ever met and the fact that she's so elusive only increases his interest. golden retriever type guy.

Noah Harris (he/him): doesn't like labeling his sexuality. mutual friend of Spencer and Vince. fools people into thinking he's kind, polite and charismatic. is actually manipulative, deceitful and gets bored of people easily. good at reading others and gravitates towards people that intrigue him. while everyone else is playing checkers, he's playing chess, and moves people around the board as if they're merely a means to an end. actually deeply cares for Spencer and is a bit hurt that he doesn't view him as a friend.

Jeremy Meyers (he/him): Cami's younger brother (by 1 year). eats, breathes and sleeps soccer. has always had a strong sibling relationship with Cami, and greatly admires and cares for her, so much so that he gets hurt when she hides things from him or doesn't come to him when she's going through a tough time.

okay now that i'm seeing the new dash...hot take, but while i'm not a fan of idea of tumblr trying to be like twitter ( if anything tumblr is more popular BC it's social media specifically for people who hate social media :// we'll have problems if they ever enforce a character limit on posts ), i don't actually hate that the menu bar with the words is always on the side- it cuts down the amount of time i usually would take with navigating between say my dash and activity pages, etc.

i want a neopets nostalgia website you can't log into, it just always looks like you're logged in to the original site circa late 2000s and the main purpose of the fansite is just to recreate the feeling of going onto neopets to do your dailies as a kid. you can click around the world map, and take something from the omelet even though you don't have an account and thus an inventory, and you can spin the wheels, and you can go look in the shops even though you cant really buy anything, and you can go play the old flash games because they've been converted somehow, and maybe there's even a fabricated issue of the neopian times you can check. like it's all very simplified and obviously entire sections of the site like the battle dome would be missing, but you can Get That Feeling again just by poking around. no accounts, so no logging in needed and no large server space or cybersecurity required for the host (not that the real neopets ever had the latter), i just want to click on little secrets on the world map and play the hannah trilogy or ice cream factory or caves & corridors again
