Dollhouse Plans

So I’m currently in the process of doing a major reno to my super messy and dysfunctional dollhouse. I want to actually devote some time and money into it this time around, because I did not have those things a few years ago (circa 14 year old Forrest, poor and struggling with geometry or whatever). Especially now when I’ve just got a fancy new job that pays loads more than my previous one!

I’ve renovated this thing countless times in nine years, even moving houses at one point. Right now, however, it’s really just a bunch of shelves with shit on them. I am going to put away and organize all the doll stuff I have once I order new shelves (with double the depth!) and actually figure out how to put them up without the help of a power drill because my old one apparently grew legs and walked off to somewhere with a cheaper mortgage. He will be missed.

Left is how it looks now and right is my future plans, including future dolls I wanna buy to fill out the space.

Right now my wishlist is Josefina, Addy, and Ivy (prayers that I’ll find her for a decent price on eBay and not dig myself a 400$ hole I’ll never crawl out of). Possibly Kaya? Or maybe a blonde doll? The possibilities are endless. All I know is every room is going to sleep two dolls, with the exception of the extra bedroom to the left of Izzy and Addy. I don’t know why I’ll need an extra bedroom in a house made for vinyl shits with no real friends, I just like to have options.

Now, everything in the picture is probably going to be given away/thrown out with the exception of the daybed on the first floor (currently Izzy and Marie-Grace’s room [I don’t want MG in the dollhouse because I’ve grown accustomed to her chilling on a shelf next to my desk and I fear God will smite me down if I move her from her special spot]), the jewelry box/dresser next to the daybed, the yellow dresser in the room next to it, the shower on the third floor (currently the bathroom), the little red console thingy with drawers on the second floor (currently the mudroom? I don’t know what the fuck that room is), and a few more accessories/minor furniture pieces. Everything made of cardboard will be thrown out, the OG kitchen set and pink bed on the first floor will be given away so hopefully another little doll-obsessed fuck gets to use them for their own dysfunctional dollhouse. The pink organizer thingy on the third floor dressing room will be used by my mother to keep her notes in line or some shit idk she just called dibs. I’m also keeping all the mirrors. Those were expensive.

Now, as for what I’ll put in each renovated room:

Addy and Izzy’s room:

They’ll both share the daybed, in addition to the jewelry box/dresser. Their bedroom will remain relatively unchanged compared to the other ones, save for it being moved two floors up. I’ll keep the wallpaper cardboard strip because I like the pattern, and paint the wall adjacent to it. They’ll be getting new posters and a new nightstand, I just haven’t picked one out yet. Maybe the smaller yellow dresser? Yellow goes good with pink.

Extra Bedroom:

Hopefully I’ll be able to get Kit’s bed and desk for a reasonable price on eBay. I just love her furniture so much. Since the space is so small, I think that’s about all I’ll be able to fit. Maybe a dog bed if I have additional space.

Josefina and Unnamed Doll’s Bedroom:

They’ll be sharing the camp bunkbed from American Girl and this cute cabinet/nightstand I found on Google. I don’t know if it’s from American Girl or not because I’ve never seen it before, I just like it a lot. I also found a cute wardrobe for them that matches the nightstand. I think I’ll keep the doors open and put the nightstand in front of one of them, holding it open and letting their clothes be out on display. Also, a vintage-looking chair. I think it’ll be cute with some clothes piled on it to make it look lived-in.

Saige and Ivy’s Bedroom:

They’ll be sharing the Pleasant Company bunkbed with the red console with drawers at the foot of it, and hopefully I’ll get Samantha’s wardrobe chest for a good price!! I think the mismatched aesthetic will be perfect for those two. I also wanna get the Art Class set from AG for Saige, and the Xbox set for them both.

The Bathroom:

Unchanged, save for me moving it two floors down and adding the bubble bathtub thing from AG. I kinda like the bathroom the way it is now, just needs to be cleaned up a little.

The Kitchen, Living Room, and Dining Room:

As I said before, I wanna give away the OG kitchen set, hopefully in favor for the My Life kitchen set because I think the blue color palette is a lot less obnoxious than the pink. Who even has a pink kitchen?? In addition, I wanna get the Tea Time set from AG as a dining table, and a couch from Etsy for the living room. I haven’t picked exactly which one I want yet. Storage is also a bit of a concern for me, so I also wanna look for a potential shelving unit to go into the kitchen/dining area for storing plates and warm food items. As for an entertainment center… Maryellen’s TV Console I’m looking Directly At You. I think it’ll be really funny for Ivy or Saige to be playing Xbox on a TV from the fifties.

Im gonna cover the carpet on the first floor with something hard, definitely. Carpet in the kitchen and bathroom?? A nightmare.

And yeah that’s about is as of now. Things are due to change as I make adjustments to my budget and floor plan, so I’ll keep updating as I start the reno. Hopefully I’ll get the dollhouse of my dreams at the end of this because my vinyl shits DESERVE IT.

UP10TION as boyfriends

Jinhoo -loves holding your hand and kissing it then sways it while you’re walking -sings you sweet lullabies over the phone until you fall asleep and then the next morning you’ll get surprised that the call is still on coz he wants to greet you “good morning beautiful” -won’t ever get mad at you but pouts whenever you get mad at him so you won’t really stay mad at this guy for too long coz it’s too Cruel -loves teasing you but hugs you right after every tease and then lets out a cute giggle -will listen to everything you say because your opinions matter to him so he consults to you every decisions he’s gonna make

Kuhn -imitates people’s voices to make you laugh when you’re angry and he’ll succeed and you’ll punch him coz you didn’t even want to smile but he made you laugh and that makes you love him more and more each day -always kisses your cheeks whenever he’s able to then smiles sweetly at you before he wiggles his ‘kim woobin’ eyebrows -loves staring at you while you’re sleeping on his arms then combs your hair with his fingers because he knows you love it when he does that “i like that” *thumbs up* -brings you to his favorite places he hasn’t showed to anyone ever -likes to backhug you and rest his chin on your  shoulder and occasionally kisses your neck

Kogyeol -his goal in life is to make you smile everyday -does everything to make you happy -won’t ever intentionally hurt you (damn if he’s not the kindest man alive) -takes many selfies whenever you’re together but uploads only one because he wants the world to know how proud he is to be your boyfriend and wants your dating to be exclusive at the same time -is close to your parents and siblings and goes to your house often to show how serious he is in your relationship

Wei -yOUR FACE WILL ALWAYS WELCOME HIS CHEST BECAUSE HE LOVES HUGGING YOU TIGHT (im not screaming) and he’s tall and you’re not and he finds it veeeery cute -raspy voice says hello every morning because he wants you to get addicted to him and never let him go -loves to cuddle with you then put you in jail called ‘in wei’s arms’ and won’t let you get off of him until you say i love you wei in a cute way -P!!! D!!! A!!! he doesn’t care about people’s stares as long as he gets to hug and kiss you whenever you see each other -he’s playful sometimes but knows when to get serious

Bitto -feeds you everytime: either he always buys you food or cooks for you, takes you to his favorite restaurants and makes you taste all of his favorite foods -always checks if you already ate and will get mad if you don’t eat on time -will do jams if you’re with him and will constantly look at you while playing beatbox with a smile only meant for you (im not weeping) -plays your favorite piano piece at a formal gathering of their clan to help you be at ease and then after that he’ll take you for a slow dance -you’re everything to him, he wants to do everything with you, he has you in his plans for the future so please don’t hurt this pup (holding back not to add more stAHP mE)

Wooshin -smiles everytime you call him ‘oppa’ then kisses your nose -will teach you how to play video games because he wants to play and flirt with you at the same time by letting you win and getting a kiss whether it’s you or him who wins -brings you flowers and a sketch of your selca from time to time for you not to forget that he’ll court you for the rest of your life -tells you how beautiful you are and how he loves you in every way he can and how his heart flutters whenever you smile -he’s a flirt okay so be mentally and emotionally prepared when he smirks it’s a dangerous thing im telling you nOMU WIHOMHAE

Sunyoul -cLINGY BOYFRIEND(!!!) he’s the one clinging to your arm (at the same time his fingers are intertwined with yours) while strolling at the mall or walking at the park -one second he’s your cute lil bunny then the next he’s a flower boy next door -tries to act manly by showing you his (cute) abs so you’ll stop calling him ‘my lovely bubblegum’ and all the other soft names but miserably fails -“i am not cute” “aww cutie ofc ur not” “i have abs” “yes u do” “i am not sof-” “do u want a hug?” “-yES!” “aww i knew it come here bby” -if you get mad he’ll do aegyo while singing, yes, he’ll do it just for you because you are special to him

Gyujin -will let you do the talking when you’re together (please appreciate if he does this you know how talkative this guy is) and will keep staring at you with a sweet smile on his face -has corny pick up lines for you everyday and if you cringe he’ll mess your hair then he’ll hug you then you’ll laugh then he’ll kiss the top of your head -he’s a fluffy sugar plum so if you’re busy he’ll come to you and say “don’t ignore me juseyo im a nice guy” with a cute sad face (huhuhu please love this guy) -gets jealous easily but tries to fight it cause he doesn’t want to choke you with your relationship with him -loves to hear you laugh so he often tickles you and you’ll both end up catching your breath while lying down on the floor then your eyes meet and you’ll both smile knowing that that smile means “i love you” no words needed

Hwanhee -sends you voice messages saying he loves you to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond, forever and always, and all the other lines he learned from the movies he watched to know how to be a good boyfriend -be patient with his extreme teasing please he just doesn’t know how to properly express his love towards you -sings in front of a crowd on your birthday and tells you how much he loves you with the song he wrote -wants to see you everyday so if you two can’t meet, he’ll update you every hour with his cute snaps and asks you to do the same too -he loves you so much okay never forget that he’s trying hard to keep you forever by his side
