The Gabriel tarot necklace being him with both swords out and, from what I've gathered, the two of swords card means being at a crossroads and having to make difficult decisions or even being at an impasse.

I also want to point out the text on the store page is from the cutscene where the council tore out his light and gave him a difficult choice of either killing the machine or dying. You could also argue this is meant to reference Gabriel's confusion and how difficult it was to finally realize God is not absolute and neither is he and no one is better than the other.

Hey can we talk about how Jimmy died to a warden on the surface. How history doesn't repeat but it sure does rhyme. The fact that he died while Tango was off the server too...

Jimmy broke the curse today but he could not escape his past being used against him. And this DAYS after the wardens basically ignored him in Decked Out. He was too close to the action because he was curious and he wanted to see, but what if for a moment he just... forgot to be afraid of the warden?

It was not a body that people are used to seeing on models. It was also nice to draw Shadow again. I always drew Sonic characters even when I was really young, made OCs like CRAZY, but it's been a good while since I have done any sonic art in recent times! It was fun to use my old style tactics while also trying to keep the shadow plushies leaning a little more adorable than serious. Just to fit the vibes~ ✨

"I'd love to read more" well if you say so! So... Narinder. The iconic catboy. Following along with the theme of loving a god being the equivalent of entering a toxic relationship that is EXACTLY what Narinder has done. Praising and encouraging the lamb for their actions in killing the other bishops. Getting them to open up about all these personal details while simultaneously never revealing anything about himself (shit man SHAMURA is the one to tell the Lamb that his name even is Narinder!) The worst part is that it is at least partially genuine. There IS something there as with the other bishops and their relationships, but they are gods and such can only respond as gods always do. By drinking in all the devotion, and only giving something back when they want to. Things are healing now, but it'll never be the same as it was. Now Narinder finds himself stuck in a situation where he is noticing the slow and steady creep of "godhood" in the lamb, and is trying to keep Lamb grounded to their mortality. Now he's the one in the position of giving devotion, and its important that his quest succeeds, because he knows no matter the outcome he's not getting off the wild ride. Shamura, my fella, where do I begin with you. They have been a god for the longest. The oldest, and we don't even know how much even older they are than Kallamar. The only thing we know for certain about Shamura's age is that they have been alive since the glory age of gods. They have been divinity for unfathomably long, and were the closest to what it should mean. However, they have been upheld as god for so long I think its fundamentally warped every single relationship Shamura has. Does this make them evil? No, but it makes it hard to treat anyone outside of their family as an equal. Even after becoming mortal, just from what I've seen, they STILL are on a pedestal. The other bishops remember the big and wise older sibling. The LAMB, the only actual god left, is begging THEM for help. So Shamura will help alright, by telling the Lamb all about the warped ways they believe a god should perceive the world. I think Shamura needs, whether platonically or romantically (I don't know your headcanon for their orientation), for someone to get mad at them. Saying what is true but saying it in a cold/cruel way is very "i'm a god and can say what I want without consequence" behavior. Someone needs to shove this nerd into a chair and give a passionate "I don't know how to explain that you should care about other people" speech. Anyways that is all. I must let my brainworms rest for now.

UOGH MIMICROW !!!!!! my token toxic yuri........

crow works in a witchy type shop in windmill village run by their mentor and creator, selene the luna moth. they met mimic one day when he burst into the shop while they were in the back, seeming to have just been running. undisguised, panicking, and caught off guard, mimic introduced himself as.... mirror.

they talk for a little bit, mimic becoming intrigued by crows demeanor and the chao that seemed to be physically attached to them. after a chat about their work as well as a few questions about their spirituality, mimic unceremoniously leaves while crows back is turned, escaping out the front door disguised as them.

as a surprise to them, mimic starts coming in frequently, becoming a sort of regular. he comes in once a week, around an hour before closing, to chat with crow. he never buys anything and crow never sees HIM come through the door.

in mimics mind, he was just biding his time. he likes messing with people, so why not mess with this strange local? but in truth he has no end goal. is it messing with someone if youre just... pretending to be friendly? if anything, hes playing it risky by coming back to windmill village so much when hes on the run. and was he really just pretending? did he actually like them? want to be friends with them? all of the confusing feelings inside of mimic come to a point when he finds himself in a spiral similar to the one he had before he helped kill the diamond cutters, and he settles on a solution to the problem: do it again.

so when the day passes by at the shop and crow doesnt see mimic at his usual time, theyre confused, but assume hes just busy and just close the store. as theyre in the back finishing up, they dont notice the front door bell ring slightly, or the shuffle of footsteps, or the shadow in the doorway behind them. what does catch their attention is a muted yell from the spirits surrounding them and the feeling of being stabbed in the back.

following this mimic has an encounter with haunt the chao, puppeteering crows body, scolding him for being so rude, to mimics INCREDIBLE confusion. haunt hints that they will be back, and that mimic better have an explanation for what hes done. mimic escapes disguised as crow once again, in a panic over his failed plan.

between this event and their next meeting, tangle & whisper and the metal virus saga happens, and crow becomes acquainted with the restoration, sonic and co., ect. with selene's blessing, they start working at the shop less and spending time with the restoration more. the next time they see mimic is when he goes undercover as duo, and spirits begin frantically trying to warn crow to avoid him.

they instead get friendly with him to keep an eye on him. if anything at this point they just want an explanation for what happened. they confront him alone one day, pressing until he cracks. after he confesses, crow makes a deal that they wont tell the others as long as he doesnt hurt anyone else and he talks to them about what happened. he takes the deal with no intention to uphold his side, and they start talking again.

he gives them some bullshit story about how he got bad info from a guy who wanted them gone, but they press for details hard enough that he just gives up and blurts out that he knew they were gonna turn on him eventually. crow questions this line of thinking - why would they turn on what they thought was one of their only friends? why would he think so negatively of them? and mimic cant answer. so they leave him to think about it. and he does.

he visits them in the night, knocking on their window until they wake up. they make him promise to not kill them again and he does, meaning it this time. they sit in crows room and talk for hours about things. one thing leads to another and mimic spends the night. and for the first time in a long time, he feels safe.

over the next couple weeks people at the restoration notice duo and crow spending more time together and start making Assumptions. while crow and mimic arent really official and are more of a situationship rn, mimic, in a stroke of genius (/j), comes up with the idea to lean into it and pretend that duo and crow are dating. duocrow fake dating arc ensues, meanwhile mimic and crow develop their own relationship.

i dont rly have anything else for them atm cuz the phantom rider arc like just wrapped up and theres More Mimic Content on the way continuing from that but YEA!!!!!!!!! eventually theyll be happy and chill..........

for mothadow..... i have like a weird timeline format for them so bear wirh me

so ive decided that sonic dreamers (moths introductory game) is between heroes and shth05, and that shadow is a big side character. eggman sends luna after shadow as well as sonic, and thats technically their first meeting. they officially meet after shadow helps save them, and while shadow is standoffish as usual, moth is able to at least introduce themself and thank him before he leaves. for some reason, something about moth leaves a lasting impression on him.

they meet up again in shadow05, where they have a mission on the hero path, some banter/cutscenes together getting to know each other a bit more. this is kind of when theyre established as more than just acquaintances? its likely around this time where shadow realizes that being around moth gives him a strange sense of calm, almost comfort in a way?

they have a little storyline together in sonic 06, and maybe as a little story treat its hinted that they get together. but all of that is erased in the end

in between 06 and generations they definitely spend time together in their personal lives. shadow starts stopping in to make sure theyre doing okay, since she knows they tend to isolate themself. they invite him out for coffee and shopping. they become genuine friends, moth opens up more about how project luna affected them, their health, and shadow opens up a bit about maria.

moth only has a small role in sonic gens, but thats because they're primarily in shadow gens!!!!!! the time eater drops them off in shadow's area of white space and they have some dialogue lines and cutscenes with him showing off their friendship. moth offers her a hug and she accepts in her own shadow-y way.

i think they officially start dating between shadow gens and forces. maybe a movie night turned long talk about life got a little too feelings heavy and moth confessed that theyve loved shadow for a while now and not telling him is driving them crazy. i havent decided fully how it happens but regardless by the time the war starts theyre dating.
