My pet cabbage butterfly died and I'm still fucking crying about it 2 hours later so shut up and look at her. She was the best butterfly in the world she couldn't fly so she let me take her places and handle her (in fact she'd damn near refuse to get off my hand) she recognized me and I loved her and she's gone. RIP Willow 8/5-8/13 I wish I had taken video of her being her sassy cute self.

People may not enjoy my wolf spider, especially my mother and grandma and some of my peers, but they tolerate her.

My southern house spider on the other hand has had so many mean things said about her even though she's a lot "sweeter" than my other spider. I have to assume the general dislike of this spider is because she looks more scary, her legs are a bit longer and her abdomen is smaller which can make her look a bit more creepy looking.

This spider, however, is the only spider I would feel comfortable handling without her bolting because she is just very calm, in fact my friend who found her nudged her into a container and held her later that day and this spider never showed the slightest sign of aggression. I don't plan on really going out of my way to hold this spider but I think the unnecessary dislike of a spider is a bit horrible.

Anyway she's started webbing up her new enclosure a bit which isn't my favorite thing in the world because I want to get her a different enclosure since that one scares her when it opens but I am glad she's doing well.

This is my wold spider and I suppose in comparison she may look a lot less intimidating than my other spider, I love them both though and think they are both pretty cute
