also on another note i just read through the cp2077 endings i didn't get the chance to play yet and i do think the tower ending is one of the worst endings to pick in terms of what it means for a very self-reliant and anti-corpo V (and maybe this has been discussed and disCOURSED to death already, but i had the tags blacklisted for years so i'm just adding my thoughts to the void). under the cut because i get ranty lately for some reason.
so you survive the relic. but as a tradeoff you can't keep your cyberware. on your way there you pissed off just about every faction there is to be found in night city for one reason or another. there is no surviving a city full of mercs and gangs decked out with cyberware when you don't have cyberware yourself. maxtac is gonna wipe the floor with your innards if you ever cross them. viktor says the FIA doctors are wrong, so let's put a pin in this i'm not done yet.
you hand songbird back over to reed. you lose each and every friend you've had in this city except for vick and misty who realistically can't protect you from any threats that might be headed your way, and there's mitch when you call panam, but realistically he's also too far away to help you immediately. kerry, the only one who's willing to catch back up with you is currently in space and won't be back in a while.
and sure you can say the FIA looks out for you, but let's loop back around to what viktor says. he thinks their diagnosis is wrong. whether that's just wishful thinking or he's right, i can't really determine. but for the sake of this argument, let's say he's right and there's a way for V to use cyberware again.
you're telling me the FIA doesn't know that? i don't buy it and i don't trust myers. it all seems very solid at first. they kept their end of the bargain, they kept you alive. there's a tradeoff but they did what they said they'd do. but let's look at how they acted with songbird and go off of that. songbird was only useful to myers as long as she could keep her in check. as soon as that went out of the window so did myers's goodwill. AND if V attempted to help songbird escape before handing her over to reed, what's guaranteeing that they don't try that again? i suppose there's no guarantee, unless she makes sure they too can't stand up to her anymore. and what better way is there to do that than to rid V of their cyberware?
reed being the one who relays all of that to you is as much a comforting presence as takemura is in the devil ending. you can grow really close with them. they're gonna break it to you gently, you're gonna be more willing to sip that poison. if you end up working for their respective factions, you essentially sign yourself away to the FIA or arasaka after they both influenced you to sign a contract in exchange for help (that doesn't even fully deliver on its promises. mikoshi kills you entirely and the FIA doctors take your cyberware. with both of them you lose johnny and your friends). and maybe there's Vs out there who are fine with that, or wanted that even and in that case all my points are kinda moot. like i said, i'm going off a V who isn't really about sympathising with them.
anyway, slight tangent. back to reed. you might want to think he's a friend to your V. maybe he is. but looking back at his history with alena and songbird... is he? like really? even if he truly considers them friends and i like to think he does, he DOES put duty above them every time. myers points and he shoots.
IF in the tower ending, myers is acting as i'd expect her to, and by that i mean keeping V on a short leash, then reed is helping her do that.
and IF viktor is right and the FIA doctors are wrong about you using your cyberware ever again, then they're only "wrong" because myers told them to feed you false information. and now you're working for her and how are you gonna get out of that when she's the president of the NUSA and everyone around you has cyberware but you don't.
i kept on hearing that the tower ending is one of the "best" endings if you want to hear - with certainty - that V survives. and maybe it is. but really, at what cost man. how much longer are you gonna keep going in night city when half of its citizens hold a grudge against you, your cyberware is gone, your friends are gone, and the faction you're working with might or might not have hired you and taken your cyberware from you just to make sure you don't ever act up again.
how fucking awful of a future would that be to a nomad V. spent 2 years in a coma? they didn't just choose the quiet life over a blaze of glory, they died in their sleep.
#cp2077#cyberpunk 2077#granted i just read the wiki page on this ending so maybe there's pieces in there that i couldn't gather properly without playing it#but man reading it has haunted me for days#also just for the record i love myers and reed and takemura there's no tHeY'rE eViL bias here. i am very much a nuance appreciator#i am just saying that removed from headcanons and fandom rewrites i wouldn't trust any of them any further than i can throw them#takemura at least is very honest about what signing a contract with arasaka entails. it doesn't sound tempting.#but at this point it's your only shot at coming out the other side. he knows that and you know that. you're gonna work for the corp that#gave you the most grief throughout the game. even if you started it out working FOR them already (corpo v i mean)#from what i've read about the tower ending it sounds like the FIA is offering you a happy end with a LITTLE twist#no more cyberware but we'll look out for you you'll be fine working for us you've got this there's a chance at reunions and maybe cyberware#yay!#until you look deeper and it just feels offputting and wrong all over

You mentioned that when you brought up the D/s relationship to your husband, you sent him articles about it. Do you remember where you found those articles? My husband and I have been married 14 years, and together 19. We had a very limited sex life in the past due to sexual trauma I had from my previous relationship. I always had very bad feelings towards sex and viewed it as something that just hurt and the sooner it’s over the better and you just have to get him off to be done.
It wasn’t until I started reading erotica novels about BDSM that I even changed my view on sex and had my first orgasm…3 years after being married (5 years after I first had sex). Now I have a much healthier relationship with sex and I can have multiple orgasms, multiple ways.
My husband is very Alpha and amazing at making sure I’m taken care of and he prioritizes me and my safety. We’ve always sort of had that D/s dynamic. But I really want to go deeper into it. He’s open to discussing it. I just don’t know where to start other than the stereotypical stuff you see everywhere. I almost wish we had someone that could guide us and I don’t know how to bring it up to him that he needs a much better understanding of it just from having no familiarity of how in depth the dynamic is. The thing I’m mostly drawn to is the psychological aspect of it and when the Dom knows what the sub needs and demands it, regardless if the sub is aware what he’s doing. Thank you for all your posts and putting everything out there for people wanting to expand from a long term vanilla relationship to a new D/s relationship!
Hi there!
I'm so sorry that you've had the traumatic sexual experiences that have made it harder for you to find your way with your sexuality - but it's so cool that you've managed to do so now! Mine was a bit different from yours it sounds like, but it took me a while to figure out my sexuality due to trauma as well.
As far as what I shared with CD when I was first sharing the concept with him...
I came across the idea of domestic discipline (aka DD) before we knew about 'regular' D/s. It took a while before I realized that DD is basically a form of D/s. There's often a lot more D/s content out there than there is DD, so being limited to just knowing to search for DD made it especially tough. But anyway, the articles that I found early on where all on DD sites. There was some DD site that had a forum that was most of what I used as a reference from what I recall, and that site has since shut down. It was already really inactive by the time I was finding it like 10 years ago. But another that I can recall looks like it's still up. That is
I also recall a blog that was called A Shrew Tamed but I can't seem to find that. I think it may have been a Wordpress or blogspot blog?
That's what I recall starting with, anyway. While I gained a lot of info from those sources, I remember feeling frustrated that I couldn't find anything that was "spot on" for what I wanted. There are plenty of non-sexist DD people out there, but DD does bring in the sexist people more than regular D/s does, so there's a lot of sexism that can get mixed into most of the content I was finding early on... and that was always really offputting to me, but at the time it was the closest I could find to what I wanted. So I'd just share stuff with Cd but then point out the parts that I disagreed with or whatever. And he sometimes had additional parts that he disagreed with. So we had to kinda patch together our own path using some ideas from others but then crafting the rest based on our own ethics and needs and so on. Which I thought was kind of 'wrong' at the time, but I'm so glad we did that rather than feeling like we had to copy some guidelines from someone else that weren't right for us.
It took a ton of talking to get started, and that was pretty uncomfortable for me at the time as my communication skills were pretty bad and I had a lot of shame wrapped up in all of this so it was hard to talk about. But, to do D/s safely, I really had to get to a place where I could talk about it pretty in depth and openly so in hindsight, I'm glad that we did push ourselves to do all that talking. It was needed. Some of what we had to explore in depth were what both of us were wanting to feel about different aspects of D/s, what things we thought would give us those feelings and what things we thought would definitely NOT give us those feelings. And then once we started, we talked about what we were doing all the time in the beginning. CD wanted to know how everything he did felt to me, and we tried to keep adjusting if anything didn't feel good or right.
It's great that you know that a big part of what you're looking for is for your partner to know your needs and to prioritize them. Most likely, making it possible for him to know your needs in different situations will require you to share your needs with him a lot for a long time so that he can learn the patterns of what you need. And I know that sucks because a lot of times when we want someone to know our needs, part of what feels good is them 'just knowing' without us asking or telling, but realistically, our partners can usually only learn our needs in extreme detail like that, if a lot of communication happens early on.
It sometimes feels like CD 'reads my mind' and 'just knows' things - but that's almost always because at some point in the past, we openly discussed that need in some way or another. It also helps that he is very observant of my behavior and reactions to things, so he notices if I have a positive or negative reaction to something that happens or is said, and he tries to catalog that for future use. But that alone wouldn't be enough for him to know my needs most of the time.
I wish I had some specific article to point you to that would be exactly what you want, but I don't know of one. I do know that there's lots of great content here on tumblr that you could maybe use to send to your partner with commentary about what sounds good about it and what doesn't sound so good about it, the way I did with those early articles years go. I have a tag on my blog #vanilla to D/s that I use to tag any content I write or reblog that I think would be of interest to people transitioning from vanilla to D/s. @cherishedproperty has some of the best d/s content on tumblr in my opinion. Off the top of my head, I believe @tinybitsubby and @cybister015 are two more blogs you can follow for vanilla to D/s experience. And there are lots of others that are just good D/s examples even if they aren't vanilla to D/s. I tag most reblogs with #other writers if you want to browse that to see other blogs I've reblogged from and check out their content.
Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions come up feel free to reach out again. Best of luck to you guys. :)

Still Feel Alive
Request: Perhaps for Geralt, you could have the reader be effected by an Incubus. I have no idea of the lore of the games and how that would play into this, but I can totally see Geralt killing the Incubus and then finding it's victim. Now he's gonna help them before the Incubus' venom kills them? Supernatural Sex Pollen Hoo!
Pairing: Geralt x reader
Warnings: Smut, dubcon (Cause of the incubus effects), Sex pollen-ish
Words: 3k
A/N: I did not follow The Witcher Incubus lore. Instead, I just made my own.
The rush of the evening dwindled. Now all that was left were a handful of regulars. You glanced around the room, table after table needed busing. You tucked your rag into your apron and grabbed the tub.
“He’s making you clean tables now?” Landid stood up from his chair. “Who will serve us our drinks?”
“Pour your own.” You shook your head as you rounded the bar into the dining room. “And I sent the rest of the wait staff home for the evening. We were slow.”
“You trust me to serve myself?” Landid’s eyes went wide with awe.
“Come now.” You laughed. “You are my best customer. If you stole you would never be allowed back. I imagine you would rather face death than that fate.”
“Right you are.” Landid shrugged and took a sip.
You put your bin on the first table and gathered all the dirty dishes then moved on to the next until the bin was overflowing. A groan left your lips as you carried the thing with both arms.
“Let me get the door at least.” Landid jumped up and rounded the bar. He pushed open the swing doors to the kitchen.
“Thank you.” You smiled at the man, trying not to roll your eyes. You could have handled the doors yourself.
You let out another groan as you set down the bin on the counter.
“You know he is in love with you.” The chef and owner walked over to you. “Why not give the man the attention he desires? He would make a proper husband.”
“Aye.” You started to empty the dishes into the basin of soapy water. “It is I who would not make a proper wife.”
“Why is that?” Your boss helped wash the dishes. “Poor love-sick Landid isn’t the only one. I have watched mand after man approach you, and you rebuff every single one. Is it a woman you are after?”
The right person, male or female or witch or wizard or dragon or werewolf will catch my eye someday.” You smiled at him. “And I will disappear without a trace..”
“Ha! A werewolf?” Your boss shook his head. “Landid never stood a chance.”
“I can close up.” You wiped your hands. “If you want to knock off early.”
“Let me finish up the kitchen.” He pushed at you. “Once it is clean back here, I will take you up on your offer.”
The rest of the night would be boring. You doubted a new soul would even walk through the door. Just Landid and his pals until they drank their fill. An easy night.
You walked back out into the bar and your heart almost jumped in your throat. A new person at the counter.
“Did I frighten you my lady?” The man wore a smile on his face, and what a face it was.
Beautiful, with sharp features and shoulder-length black hair. Slicked back away from his face. Eyes so brown they were almost black, and skin smoother than you thought possible.
“What can I get for you, Sir?” You cleared your throat and approached the customer.
“Toussiant Red.” His head tilted as his eyes studied your face.
That was the most expensive alcohol you sold. A glance of the man up and down told you he could afford it.
“Do you have it?” His voice was smooth, it made your ear vibrate.
“Uh.” Your head felt a bit fuzzy, you shook it and you turned toward the alcohol. “Yes.”
You went for the cabinet below and reached into the back. It felt like there was a weight on you, a shadow coming down. You stood up and grabbed a glass. The strange presence almost surrounding you, sending a chill to your bones.
It wasn’t welcome. Your body and mind tried to fight off the force.
“Strong.” The stranger’s voice almost sounded like music.
“Excuse me?” You turned to face him, unsure if he was reading your mind.
“The wine.” He nodded to the bottle. “It is a strong varietal.”
“Yes.” You gave a nervous laugh, feeling silly. “Not a frequent purchase here.”
“What is frequent here?” His lips turned into a twisted smile.
You blinked, feeling the slam of the shadow again. Something was not right. Had the dinner soured your stomach? Was illness coming on? It was spreading fast, bearing down on you.
“Are you alright?” Landid asked from the other end. “Is this man bothering you?”
Your attention turned to Landid. The distraction was an error. Your attention was not on battling off the sickness and you gasped as it crept in. Horror flooded your veins, but then in a moment it vanished and a clarity spread over you. In fact, you felt good.
“No.” Your voice was confident as you turned back to the stranger. “He is not bothering me.”
So handsome. So beautiful, even with the offputting grin. He rose from his seat and walked to the end of the bar, signaling for you to do that same.
When you met you looked up at him, his eyes dancing as they looked down at yours.
“Would you like to get out of here?” He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “With me?”
“Yes.” There was no other answer in the world as if ‘yes’ was the only one in existence.
“Come then.” He took your hand and wove your fingers together, kissing the top. “I have a horse waiting.”
“Hey!” Landid was following you. “Where are you going?”
You did not respond, because you did not care. The only this in the world that mattered was the stranger guiding you. Stranger was not the right word for him, no. He felt like home.
“Y/N.” Landid was outside. “What are you doing?”
“Here we are.” The man set you on a horse.
“Where are you taking her?” Landid yelled.
“I am no concern of yours.” You looked at Landid, the thoughts having no filter. “I do not and will never love you. Now fuck off.”
The words sounded cruel, nothing you would ever say to such a sweet man. But the voice was your own. Any misgivings vanished when your man swung his leg over the horse and secured his arm around your waist.
“You hear the lady.” He kicked the horse, turning away from the tavern. “Fuck off.”
With that, the animal took off and a smile spread on your face as you leaned into his chest, wanting nothing more than to melt into the stranger.
~~
Geralt barely stepped inside when he knew this was the place with certainty.
“Irresponsible of her.” A man behind the bar was wiping it down. “We were just talking about running off. She said she would do it with the right person.”
“I am telling you. Something was wrong.” The younger man pleaded. “It was not her. Like he put some daze on her. They barely spoke and she runs off with him? Does that sound like her?”
“She is impulsive.” The elder man put his hands on the counter. “Looking for a first love.”
“Landid is correct.” A third man caught Geralt’s eye.
“Landid is a lovesick puppy.” The older one hadn’t noticed. “There are no magical monsters running off with women. She left with him willingly.”
“Then why is a Witcher standing here?” The third man pointed and all heads went to Geralt.
The color drained from the older man’s face.
“Witcher.” Landid stepped forward. “Please, a man enchanted my girlfriend. They went off on a horse. Headed north to the woods.”
“She is not your girlfriend.” Geralt turned to the exit. “And he was not a man.”
He noticed the tracks on the way in. The confirmation who they belonged to was the only information he was after.
“She will be soon.” Landid and the group followed him. “Let me help you. Assemble a search party.”
“You will slow me down.” Geralt turned his horse and climbed up.
“Will you bring her back safe?” The man looked up at him. “I love her.”
“If I can.” Something in Landid’s face struck sympathy.
“I know you feel no emotions, but my love for her. It is pure and strong and genuine.” Landid walked next to the horse.
Of course. Witchers felt no emotion. Hearing that made a fire of rage go off inside of him. The sympathy for Landid vanished.
“If she loved you, an Incubus’ power would not affect her.” Geralt grunted. “And if you loved her, you would have formed that search party when they left. Not thirty minutes later.”
Landid looked dumbstruck. Geralt kicked his horse and took off after the tracks. Being the only rider would give him an advantage. He hoped it was enough to close their distance and save the girl before the monster had his dinner.
~~
This was not right. This was not you. Riding off into the forest with a beautiful stranger? Standing here, staring at nothing while he built a fire.
“There.” He set the pile of wood ablaze. “I wouldn’t want you to catch a cold.”
“Are you going to kill me?” There was no inflection in your voice.
“Oh my, you are a strong one.” He shook his head and took your hands.
It felt like something was vibrating against your insides, seething back into your mind. You whimpered, wanting to force it out, trying your hardest to not let it seep deeper.
“Here.” A finger was on your chin.
You wanted to pull away but were frozen, lips were on yours. Soft, plump, inviting. A tongue flickered out and you parted your mouth, inviting the thing inside. Rich, coppery liquid flooded your mouth.
You squealed and tried to pull away, but his hand went to the back of your head. He continued to kiss you, You didn’t want to swallow but there was no keeping him out.
Soon the vibrations merged, the coppery taste turning sweet. He was a fantastic kisser, the best you had ever had. Your body relaxed and you lifted your arms, grabbing a hold of his shirts with your fists, coaxing him to kiss you harder.
“There.” He pressed his forehead to yours. “Much better now?”
You let out a moan and pressed your lips to his again.
“You’re going to taste delicious.” His hands went to your skirts. He kissed at your neck as you helped him take off your clothes, the fabric too hot and heavy for your skin. “It’s been some time since I had a fighter. Never one I had to use my blood on.”
You stepped out of your bottoms and then took your shirt off, undoing the undergarments, the fire growing between your legs hotter than the flames next to you.
“So smart and aware.” It felt like you were floating as he laid you down on the forest floor. “Quite the find.”
“Please.” You brought your hands between your bodies and began to tug at his pants. “I need you.”
“And you shall have me, darling.” He went to his belt. “I will devour you.”
You through your head back as tingles spread down your body.
“NO!” You cried out as you sat up, the pressure from his body vanishing.
You heard a large groan and saw him across the clearing, next to a tree. Your vision began to blur and you blinked several times, swearing you saw horns.
“Witcher!” The horned creature seethed.
“What?” You looked to the other person, white-haired.
“You interrupted my meal.” Everything started to turn.
A sword was swung, slicing through the air. You watched as best you could. It looked like an angel fighting a devil.
“Ahh!” A cramp in your stomach formed. Hard. Tight. Burn.
You brought your hands between your legs, trying to add pressure, give some relief, but your parts were numb. It felt like nothing was helping as you pulsed with want.
Tears stung your eyes as another wave of pain came, your pussy clamping down on nothing, so empty, so painful.
The fighting continued on in the background, but your blood grew hotter and hotter inside your veins. It was turning into fire. Only one thing would smother the flames.
The two figures continued to grunt and scream as they battled each other. You tried to reach out for them, form words, ask for help, but right now your body only had one function, making you hotter and hotter.
A shriek erupted through the air. You tried to open your eyes to see the victor, but they were blurry. Everything was blurry.
“Did you drink its blood?” Hands touched your body, giving you a brief relief. “Answer me.”
“Made me.” You were sat up and parted your lids, the white-haired victor holding your shoulders as he kneeled on the ground. “Please. Help me?”
“Fuck.” His hand touched your forehead. “You’re burning up.”
“Please.” You collapsed forward, forming a ball against his chest. “It hurts. I need.”
Your hands found his cock and you stroked it over his tight pants. You didn’t know how, but you were certain this would ease you. The dampness between your thighs agreed.
“You smell so.” He tightened and tried to back you away. “Fuck.”
“Please. I’ll do anything you like. Just please?” Your shoulder shook as you sobbed. “It hurts.”
He was hard. Eager for you as well. You squeezed around his form with one hand while the other went to his belt.
His hand came to yours about to push you away, but he paused. You lifted your face to look at him. Being close to the man brought back a fraction of your strength. He was gorgeous with yellow eyes and fair skin.
You were successful and his cock sprang free from his pants. So hard for you. You moaned in satisfaction, pinching your eyes shut in the process. A step closer to your goal.
Your lips found his chest and you kissed down his shirt, the fabric softer than you expected. Your hands hit the ground and you backed away, staying on your kees as your tongue pulled away from his body, running down the top of his cock.
When you reached the tip you swirled around it, relaxing your jaw and swallowing him. The precum on the tip making you moan when it hit your tongue. The taste intoxicating. Your body responded with another wave of need.
“Your smell.” His hands were on your shoulders and he pushed you off of him. “I need more than your mouth.”
With that his hands went to your hip as he pushed you back, falling on top of you and catching you both with his other palm.
Your back hit the dirt and you spread your legs as he slid his hand to his cock. You looked up to see him coat himself in your juices, before pressing against your entrance.
“Mmmm.” You moaned as he pushed inside.
The sight of his cock disappearing inside of you so erotic. It looked like he was never going to finish as if more and more of him kept coming, but once he was fully satiated you let your head fall back.
In a second his lips were on yours. You ran your hands through his hair as he rocked his hips, filling you with thick, hard thrusts.
Every bit of cramp and pain you’d been feeling were replaced with pleasure. The needs of your body being satisfied in every way possible. Your exposed nerves that had betrayed your body now rewarded it with ecstasy.
You started to roll against him, lifting your body in rhythm with his thrusts.
“It has never felt like this.” You broke the kiss as you panted.
“I know.” The man kissed your shoulder as his hand found your breast.
You whimpered as he kneaded your chest, massaging and tugging at you until you were a stiff peak underneath him.
Your hands found the top of his shirt and you began to tug. Needing to feel his skin on yours. Confirmation this was not a dream.
He responded by lifting his body and stripping the fabric away. Your eyes flared at the sight of him. Gigantic and muscular. A true prize.
When he came back down your chests smashed together and your lips met again. You both went into a frenzy, kissing and slamming into each other.
A swirl began to form in your center. Dragging every but of energy and being into a ball. It grew and grew with each thrust. You tried to keep up, to move your body steady with his, but you were growing weak and useless as the ball got tighter and tighter.
Your lover responded by taking over. He didn’t slow, in fact, the opposite, he went faster and faster, doing all of the work for the two of you.
Just when you thought your mind was going to join the rest of yourself in your core the ball lit on fire. An intense vibration went off as pleasure spread everywhere, your vision blackening as you convulsed underneath him.
“Fuck.” He ground down hard and joined you in the release.
Your body collapsed and your head lulled to the side. Sleep came instantly. You were never before this satisfied.
~~
When you woke in the morning you shoulder was sore. You let out a little moan as you moved, a heavy arm covering your waist.
Images on legs, arms, riding, fucking came to mind and your eyes popped open. There was a chirp of birds and a long-dormant fire.
You sat up and looked down at Geralt, having taken a pause during one of your many times last night to at least learn the Witcher’s name. The corners of your lips started to smile.
His eyes opened as he looked up at you. The same realization dawned on him as he sat up.
“Good morning.” You touched his shoulder.
“Morning.” He looked uncomfortable. “Incubus blood has an effect.”
“I figured that out.” You smiled at his awkwardness. “Thank you, for helping me.”
“Ah, Uhm.” He bit his lip.
“The proper response is ‘you’re welcome’.” You pressed on his shoulder, rolling him to his back and straddling him in the process.
“What are you doing?” He lifted his neck as you kissed your way down his chest.
“Showing you that my mouth would’ve been enough.” You licked your lips as a fire grew in his yellow eyes.
You were grateful for him saving your life in more ways than one the last night. You had every intention of repaying him every chance you were given.

Chapter Two: Home to you.
Y/N ran through the maze of halls, unsure of where she was going. Her original plan was to find that hatch she had seen but suddenly aware that she didn’t even know what planet she was on, going out into the atmosphere may be a bad idea. “Hey, halt!” She heard a voice yell from behind her. Y/N spun around to see an officer charge in her direction, stunning baton in hand. With one quick movement, Y/N slammed his body to the ceiling and then to the wall knocking him out cold. She looked around to make sure there were no other guards before an idea came to her. Quickly she dragged the officer’s body behind the nearest corridor and into a storage closet. Swiftly she changed out of her torn wedding dress and into the man’s red uniform, the loose fabric hung on her frame but it masked her identity long enough for her to make an inconspicuous escape. Y/N starred at the unconscious man before she pressed her hand to his forehead and forced her way into his mind. Y/N searched his memories for any information about this base, where she was, how to escape, after a brief moment she saw a planet, it was Naboo. She watched the man’s memories of the night they attacked her and Kylo, the night they had taken her away. She recognized the ship as it took off and left the planet, but not the system. The ship had traveled past the desert planet but had not jumped into hyper-drive, they didn’t need to, they weren’t going far. At first, Y/N thought they had taken her to one of Naboo’s moons but she was wrong, she was on the next planet in the Naboo system, she was on Widow. “I can fly back to Naboo easily,” Y/N thought to herself. “But where are the ships?” She plunged deeper into this man’s mind, forcing the information to come to her, it was strangely satisfying to take the knowledge she needed without hesitation. That was when she saw the base, it was small, this must not be their headquarters, but a hideout, a secret location. The base was divided into four components, separate buildings attached by a series of tunnels, and the farthest building was the hanger, she saw the many ships the brotherhood had commandeered over the years. An array of both Resistance and First Order ships, some as old as the days of the Empire, any one of these would take her Naboo easily. She released the man freeing herself from his mind and carefully opened the door, peering into the hallway an eerie quiet overcame the base. Slowly Y/N snuck out and made her way to the hanger, hoping to be as inconspicuous as possible as she made her way through the twisting halls she tried to avoid eye contact with every officer she passed. The brotherhood wore fabric face masks that covered the majority of their face except for their eyes, staring into the eyes of the enemy was always more offputting than staring at a metallic mask. Y/N kept her eyes forward and tried to remain calm, she could feel her heart accelerate as she passed by two large men, one of them decorated with a dark red stripe across their chest, she knew he must be the general. “Hey, you!” The man called out. Y/N stopped and slowly turned around to face him. “Come here,” He signaled, hesitantly Y/N approached the general. He was far taller than she was, so much so that Y/N had to look up to make eye contact, his shoulders were broad and a crooked scar ran across his left eye, making him all the most intimidating. “Where’s your weapon soldier?” He asked Y/N panicked suddenly remembering the stunning baton she had left in the closet. She paused, “uhhh,” She began trying to lower her vocal range. “Speak up man, where is your weapon?” Y/N noticed the other soldier slowly unlatch his batton from his belt, they were on to her. “Uhh, on my way to get it, sir.” She replied. The man narrowed his eyes, “Present your identification,” He ordered. The man beside him flicked his baton on. “Sir?” Y/N asked, “Present your identification... soldier,” He repeated. The two men stepped towards Y/N and just when they were about to attack an alarm blared. “Prisoner out of cell, I repeat prisoner out of cell!” A voice sounded over the speakers. The two men turned towards Y/N, the girl paused before saying, “...shit.”
Y/N took off in the opposite direction, the two men barreling after her, stunning batons armed and ready. “Prisoner over here!” one of the men shouted, panicking Y/N spun around and extended her arms, clenching the men’s throats she knocked them together before turning towards the hanger. Y/N could hear the stampede of boots behind her though she dare not turn around, as she passed a corner she reached out towards the large metal door and ripped it from its hinges, throwing it behind her. She turned a corner, the hanger in sight, she could see the ships now when suddenly a group of soldiers appeared, blocking the only entrance. “Halt, there’s nowhere to go, we have you now!” One of the guards said. Y/N smirked, “You underestimate me,” She replied pulling the mask off her face. “Big mistake,” And with that, she dug her heel into the ground and lunged towards the army, yanking their batons from their hands she crashed the weapons together sending an array of sparks flying through the air. Y/N leaped at the men parting the soldiers like the Red Sea she cleared a path towards the hanger. Y/N bolted into the large room and without any hesitation ran towards the first ship she saw, an old X-Wing painted in bright Red and White. Quickly she unlatched the top and slid in, not even taking the time to strap herself down before bringing the old ship to life. She stared at the foreign controls, suddenly wishing she had chosen a TIE Fighter instead. “It’s okay, it’s okay,” She whispered, “I can do this,” “Hey!” A blaster shot bounced off the cockpit’s canopy startling Y/N. She looked over to see a group of soldiers filing into the hanger and behind them, Argent. “Okay, no time to debate, we just gotta,” Y/N rapidly pressed familiar buttons. “GO!” Pulling back on the yoke the X-wing jolted forward, flipping a few more switched Y/N managed to get it off the ground and out of the hanger. Alarms blared as the ship shakily took off into the atmosphere, unsure of what to do Y/N randomly pressed a few buttons until the ship leveled out and the alarms ceased.Y/N turned around and watched as the planet grew smaller and smaller, no longer sensing Argent’s presence and surprised that she wasn’t being followed Y/N breathed out a sigh of relief. “Now,” She said, “To get to Naboo,” Carefully she punched in the coordinate of the planet and began her journey back. Feeling hopeful but also skeptical that her escape was too easy.
Kylo POV:
The First Order’s fleets headed towards Naboo, although Kylo didn’t know where in the system the Brotherhood had taken his wife it was a start. The desert planet came into view, the fleet maintained their position in the atmosphere while Kylo took a few transporter shuttles down to the surface. The citizens of Theed watched nervously, huddling close together as the Supreme Leader stepped foot into the gorgeous city. Parents held their children close by and hurried away as the troopers lined the streets. The air was warm and vessels floated gently on the tranquil Solleu river. The floating city was paradise to those who lived there and unbeknownst was the evil that lurked within. Kylo ordered Hux to patrol the city with a squadron while he headed back towards the Lake County to search Varykino.” Be on the lookout for any members of the brotherhood, harm no civilians but if you see Graves... kill on sight.” The General nodded before turning and commanding his troopers and addressing the crowd. Kylo boarded his ship and headed towards Varykino, the same resort he and Y/N had been married at not too long ago. The paradise that once held happy memories now created a sour taste in Kylo’s mouth. Kylo landed his ship and began to explore the terrain, it was abandoned as it had been for many years despite the upkeeping it had undergone for the wedding. Dried flowers and melted candles peppered the dusty burnt ground. A tapestry lay ripped in two, covered in dark ash, once a place of beauty was now frozen in a terrible memory. The Pontifex’s body was gone, Kylo supposed that somebody had come by and discovered the grizzly scene, his blood however still stained the marble. As Kylo walked along to balcony, his fingers tracing the stone he paused, suddenly sensing a familiar presence, he turned around only to see a figure draped in loose red fabric, their face hidden by the large hood. It was the same uniform as the Brotherhood, Kylo instinctively grabbed his lightsaber, igniting it, his face illuminated by the red glow.
Y/N POV
Y/N glided over the surface of Naboo completely satisfied with her ability to find the planet. She had decided to return for a myriad of reasons, to change her clothes into something less conspicuous, to find a new ship one the Brotherhood likely wasn’t tracking, and most importantly, she knew that if her husband was coming to find her the first place he’d check would be where he’d seen her last. She was just hoping her instinct was right. Landing the small X-Wing on Varykino Y/N managed to be unseen by pedestrians, she quickly exited the ship and headed towards the lodge her and Kylo had planned on staying in after the ceremony, hoping her belongings were still in her room. She was stopped however by the familiar sound of a ship landing, the vessel kicked up a storm of dust even from far away forcing Y/N to lift her hood over her eyes. Y/N quickly ducked behind her ship worried that the Brotherhood had followed her after all. As the dust settled she peered around the X-wing and gazed upon a small transported ship from the First Order. As the door opened Y/N as met with the familiar presence of her soulmate, he had found her. She watched, frozen in place from the overwhelming joy as he walked along the balcony where they had been wed, he was alone. Slowly she approached him, her heart pounding in her chest, he turned towards her, Y/N saw the pain in his eyes, she opened her mouth to speak but before she could he had ignited his lightsaber, rage overwhelming his being. Y/N paused, confused as he began to lunge towards her before she remembered what she was wearing. “Wait!” She cried as she removed her hood revealing her face. Kylo jolted to a stop the anger fading from his face and being replaced by sudden tears of joy. He extinguished his saber and dropped it to the ground, “Y/N,” He whispered, his breathing sporadic, the couple ran towards each other meeting halfway and melting into the other’s arms. The two began to cry, dropping to the ground in a heap, Y/N buried her face in the crook of her soulmate’s neck who had pulled her onto his lap and wrapped her in his arms, planting kisses on the top of her head, her face, her hands, her wrist, everywhere he could, overcome with joy. Y/N melted into the man, wrapping her arms around his neck, refusing to let go, sobbing into his uniform. After a moment she lifted her head and stared into his eyes, “I knew you’d find me,” She whispered before planting a kiss on his lips, “We found each other,” Kylo replied, “We will always find each other,” The two sat like that for a while, not as two separate people but as one couple, one soul, in total bliss, and so very unaware of the sounds from above indicating the impending ships growing closer and closer.

My (post game) opinions on the ndrv3 cast
Alright, before the game came out I made this post where I basically vomited out my opinions on how I felt about the newly revealed ndrv3 cast onto a post and it was 50% jokes, 50% venting at fangirls. But now I've actually played the game, delved into the fandom and looked at the changes between the Japanese and English versions, I feel I can make a more genuine list of how I feel about all these good kids that deserved better. I realize my opinions are just that, and I’m probably yelling into the void here. But I felt I had to do a followup to the last post because MY GOD WAS I WRONG ABOUT (MOST) THINGS. I've listed every character in ‘favorite to least favorite’ order for convenience sake. Also this post will contain Spoilers. You have been warned.
Placed under a break for your skipping convenience. Ya’ll are welcome.
1. Himiko Yumeno - I absolutely adore everything about Himiko. Her design, her lazy attitude, her voice (NYEH), her development across the game to become a more driven and energetic person...I found her really funny, really cute and oddly relatable. Himiko is probably in my top 5 DR characters of all time. Which is even crazier when I remember she’s one of the few survivors. I've never had a favorite character who survives a killing game before. So unlike past Dangan Ronpa games where my interest sorta dies off by Chapter 6, Himiko kept me fully invested in everything until the end. She’s a special bean and I love her.
2. Gonta Gokuhara - Continuing the DR trend of a Big Guy who’s a Big Friend, Gonta was so good and so pure and so friendly and deserved so much better. He was always trying to do his best and protect everyone until the very end. R.I.P Gonta. You were a true gentleman. Chapter 4 can suck my ass.
3. Tenko Chabashira - I literally D E S P I S E D Tenko when she was first revealed. I hated her stupid, sexist guts. But come Ndrv3′s release and Tenko turned out to be a dorky, kind, protective and strong willed girl who was skilled enough to be admirable but pathetic enough to be pitiable at the same time. I loved her undying adoration of Himiko (even if it was a bit creepy at times) and the two make a really cute ship. I was expecting some kind of tragic backstory in her FTE’s to explain why she hates men (I believe she mentions a drunken father at one point, and I really wish they went more into that), and the lack of a reasonable explanation for such a strong hatred is what prevents her from sharing (or even taking) the top spot in my book. But misandry aside, Tenko is a Great Gal and I wanna hug her. Although she’d probably bodyslam me.
4. Kirumi Tojou - Kirumi was my favorite when all the characters were revealed at first. I made multiple posts about how I’d die for her and how she was beautiful and whatnot and I was confident about two things when the game came out: 1) She’d be my favorite. And 2) She’d die - following in the footsteps of all previous ‘best girls’ before her. And well, I did really like her. Just...not as much as I thought I would. Kirumi is efficient, brave, elegant, caring and has a really cool design. But her talent occupies most of who she is as a person, and she isn't too dissimilar to most maid characters in anime or manga. So it made her quite predictable at times and I feel they could’ve done so much more with her..ah well. Kirumi is still a super awesome maid and a great Mom. Even if she hates being called that.
5. Kaede Akamatsu - Ahh...I remember when I was wishing someone else would be our protagonist when she was first announced...I think I cursed it. Because Kaede was just *incredible*. She was headstrong, perceptive, kind and left such a big impact on me after Chapter 1. You know that ‘Do It For Her’ meme? Yeah, that about summarizes the rest of Ndrv3 for me. Also Kaede is a huge gay and all the Ndrv3 girls are her girlfriends, pass it on.
6. Ryouma Hoshi - Congratulations to Ryouma for being the only non-standard design character not to be terrible. Far from it, in fact. Ryouma is a badass! A lil’ badass with such a depressing backstory and death that when they showed his motive video, I let out a single manly tear. Or several. Or many. I just...I just want this man to be happy...
7. Miu Iruma - Miu has zipped up and down my lists more than any other character. I had her ranked highly pre-game, lowly during the game, and mid/high post-game. Her design and talent are really cool and she makes several neat inventions over the course of the game, but her personality was so damn prickly and vulgar that I found her really offputting while she was alive. It was only after finishing her FTE’s and seeing her Love Hotel scene that I realized holy shit this girl has some serious trust and abandonment issues. It put all of her behavior in perspective and I began to feel really sorry for her all of a sudden. The hurt/comfort potential here is just WAITING to be uncovered but, alas, most Miu fanfics I've come across are just smut or crackfics. Out of all the Ndrv3 girls, Miu deserves the most headpats. Lots and lots of headpats.
8. Kaito Momota - A good, supportive friend and an effective comic relief. His optimism was a bit grating for me now and again (I never like it when DR plays the ‘’Oh we should just believe in him/her because s/he’s our friend :)’’ card because of how biased it always is. Like, DR will sometimes bend over backwards and completely 180 its own rules to make sure certain characters survive. In a game where finding the truth by objective evidence and fact is key, the times where it just says ‘’nah fuck the truth who needs proof just b e l i e v e’’ just feel so...stupid). But criticisms of the series aside, Kaito is a bro and he’s great. Who doesn’t love the luminary of the stars?
9. Kokichi Ouma - I realise putting the most popular character at 9th is going to make hoards of fangirls despise me but!!!! I don’t dislike Kokichi. In fact I like him a lot. His character is probably the most enjoyable to analyze out of everyone, his interactions are hilarious but also disturbing, the Kokichi memes are funny, and I too think the changes they made to his dialogue in the English translation was utter bullshit (almost as greater character assassination as Mukuro in the DR3 anime). But, I really love most of the characters in the game which leaves characters I’m torn on (like Kokichi or Kiyo) hovering at a position which makes it seem like I dislike them when actually I enjoy them immensely. Just...not as consistently as some of the others. Also Chapter 4 was an kick to the nads that I can’t get over. Sorry Kokichi.
10. Korekiyo Shinguuji - I was prepared to LOVE this guy so much. Seriously. I was ready for the moment where it would turn out creepy noodle man would be turn out to be a Wholesome noodle man. But uh, I think I’m with the rest of the fandom when I say that Korekiyo’s reveal as the SHSL incestuous serial killer made me drop him faster than Kirumi dropped in her execution (sorry). So, now I've establish Kork is the *real* Worst Boy...why did I put him at 10th? Why not 15th? Especially considering he killed Tenko? Truthfully, it’s the memes. Just...the Kork memes. And the fact he’s such an awful person and so obviously a murderer that it becomes genuinely hilarious to me. And his design is my favorite out of all of them. I’m so split on him. So, so split...
11. K1-B0 - Keebo made me laugh a bunch of times, and I enjoyed him more than I thought I would initially. Also his upgrades in Chapter 6 were badass as fuck. But I just don’t really feel the same affection for him like I do other characters. I’m afraid cute robot girls will always be my weakspot. Cute robot boys...not so much. (Although I’m all for Agender! Keebo that’s my jam).
12. Shuichi Saihara - This is the point in my list where I finally reach true neutral. I have no feelings on Shuichi either way. He’s deeper and has a more interesting plot arc than Makoto, which makes him a more effective protagonist in my opinion. But Hinata will always be the best protagonist in my book. And I just keep picturing what it would’ve been like if Kaede survived instead...
13. Rantaro Amami - I never understood why he was uber popular before the game came out and I don’t think I understand why he’s so popular now either. I have no negative feelings on the guy; he’s mysterious and has a ‘big brother’ attitude that I like. But the poor dude just died too quickly for me to feel anything for him.
14. Maki Harukawa - I only dislike three characters in this game. Maki is one of them. I knew *exactly* what kind of character she was going to be and I knew I wouldn’t like her much and I knew she was going to survive. I didn’t guess she was going to be an assassin! But outside of that, There isn’t much going for me for me. The tsundere is never an archetype I like and the fact the deaths in Chapters 2 and 5 are partly her fault and no one calls her out on it is kinda frustrating also.
15. Angie Yonaga - Angie’s creepiness is her most appealing trait to me. That should explain how low the bar is set here. Its difficult to write what I feel about her without coming across as a salty atheist (because most of her problems revolve around her use of her god to manipulate people) so I’m just going to leave it there.
16. Tsumugi Shirogane - Y’know I distinctly remember labelling Tsumugi as ‘’Hifumi but likable’’ on my previous Ndrv3 opinion post. I was wrong. She was hovering around mid/low level for me while I played the game, and I often forgot she existed (kinda funny considering her self admitted plainness) and her references were quite obscure a lot of the time so I didn’t find her funny either. I didn’t dislike her, I just forgot her. Then Chapter 6 happened and everyone knows the rest. It’d be difficult to truly ‘like’ Tsumugi after her reveal as the mastermind, after all. Although she was certainly entertaining when she started cosplaying as all the previous characters and I did like how her eyes glowed when she went all DanganRonpa crazy. I did actually consider putting her above Angie for those reasons, but if I dropped Kokichi’s placement because he killed Gonta then I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t slamdunk Tsumugi into last place for technically being responsible for everyones’ deaths as well (well, responsible as part of Team DanganRonpa. I understand it wasn’t *entirely* her behind it all). You know there’s a problem when *Hifumi* looks pure in comparison...
If you read through all of this, then congratulations? I don’t know how to end long ass posts like this...just pretend I said something witty.
I need sleep.
#Opinions are subjective#no seriously I am so tired#I think my logic trailed off at the end there but you get the picture#Hopefully
