bro imagine all the events of the book happen. and then pony gets taken from darry by the state and put into foster care 🧍♂️
it would be very sad. and also. it’d be an awesome fic to write where pony writes letters to his brothers from his different homes and we only see the story through their back and forth letters. which of course includes pony’s unreliable narrator ass
