It was pretty easy to notice this in the first area you explore in the Burning Shores DLC, due to the bright glow it was emitting. This is Unstable Firegleam, and it is far more destructive than its counterpart, and far easier to set off as well. It only takes being struck with any kind of attack for it to go off, destroying whatever it happens to be growing on. It appears to be more common than the normal Firegleam, and while I’ve seen it in a Relic Ruin, it looks like it shows up more often in machine sites. This is quite useful, as it can be used to harm enemies if hit at the right time. I’ve found it quite fun to utilize in combat.
