Tsuba landed not far away, feet splashing down in a puddle of ink. What a mess that they had made.

"You were close, the fairies just lined up for me at the right moment. If I hadn't gotten the head start, you probably would have gotten the opportunity first."

They chuckled and scooped up some treasure from the ground. It was an ornate bowl. They could feel the engravings upon its side but the ink all over it made it difficult to actually make out. Oh well, for later they supposed.

"Besides, I've already decided what I'm going to do with the treasure."

They held the bowl out towards Yabusame. A warm smile on their face as they did so.

"Share them with you."

Tsuba was too busy celebrating their victory to pay much mind to what fairies remained. Normally they would expect to face someone far stronger than the fairies right now, but avarice had blinded them to the possibility of such a thing. Maybe stuff just operated differently in Gensokyo.

"Hey here's a question for the various organization things around this blog. Which of you gets the most fighting kind of work?"

“ Oh, that’d be us, at the Time Patrol. We fight to make money, we fight to eat, we fight to protect history, we fight for jokes and laughs, we- “

“ Ignore the jokes and laughs part. Protecting history is a serious matter… But yes, we do tend to fight a lot… “

“ Heck, our last mission involved us fighting a guy named The Wall. He was a literal wall, by the way. Not sure how he was causing trouble when he’s a stationary wall, but, yeah. “

Usually, aftermaths are made of people snoring, packing up, chatting tiredly about the party they just had. This is just eerie, no? Too quiet! It's as if the wind itself decided to take a break, for once.

...of course, what does she know? Considering how her latest parties ended thanks to the Oni sake, she may be starting to get a little bit paranoid.

...augh. She's overthinking it, no doubt.

"Well. Might as well drink and forget about it!"

Tatsuya Kayo and Neptune raise their hands. Tatsuya was just dropped in a random portal on his way home and ended up stumbling into all these universes.

Neptune has been sucked in by a few portals in her time.

"A plant thief? In Gensokyo? I believe it may be a bit more likely than one would think. I would like to see this mystery white-haired plant thief attempt to steal the bamboo around my home. It would be an interesting sight to see. I wonder..."

She's imagining how it would go in her head. The optimal way to carry around an entire bamboo tree would be to hold it horizontally, but... wouldn't it be more impressive to carry it vertically? The thought is humorous to her.

Huh, there's a weird looking green fairy pulling a large cardboard box. Doing their best to pull it right on up to Aura's home. They make it up to the front door before falling down in apparent exhaustion.

Some last day preparations are interrupted by a new presence, prompting the magician to take a look out of the window. Spying the fairy(?), Aura makes his way over to and opening the front door.

"Huh. Weird looking fairy..."

"Beware those whom lack the [faculties] of the mind! Mine power has come to disorder all of the grand block-matching you have all worked diligently to perform!"

“Is this the Dark Prince or is this just Incubus?”

“My Dark Prince would never look that ugly.”

“On the contrary, he doesn’t look goofy enough to be the Dark Prince.”

“Well, at least it’s someone new for a random encounter.”

Remilia is not sure what she's done to earn the ire of this person, but it's amusing nonetheless.

"Right, and just who might you be? I hope that introductions are part of your basic knowledge of etiquette. A bit rude to throw such accusations without getting acquainted first, don't you think?"

Oh no! MokuMoku is under attack! What could it be? Imperialist admirals with farmer baron interests? Dread Pirates seeking noble booty? A very mad Human with a legal team?

No! It's a bunch of these little guys, flying in from who knows where to come unto the island like a locust swarm. Citizens beware, and watch out for falling pianos!

It was not common for MokuMoku to come under attack. The reputation of the guild deterred many would be invaders. Which made it all the more shocking for the island goes to find themselves beset by swarms and swarms of fairies. Not even the kind of fairies the island was used to. These ones were rather strange.

Actually wait. Were they? This is the first time Tsuba had considered it but they don't actually know the gender of a single person in Mugenri. Well they knew they were a girl ... right? Did they?

"You know what? Never mind. My brain isn't prepared for that road of thought. Lets just solve an incident."

In light of a very special day today, comes a cavalcade of music. Up in the sky marches a tremendous band of fairies. Currently making their way over to the Senri Shrine!

“-which is why I don’t use it anymore.”

“Really? That messy?”

“Yeah, it’s a real pain in the...wait, do you hear that?”

“That...music?”

You know what time it is? It's fluffy tail appreciation hour, and a strange looking fairy is now trying to sneakily fly into the fluffed paradise of Aurora's tails.

Aurora, minding her own business, doesn't notice the fairy's approach. That is, until the fairy touches her huge tails. They are soft and fluffy, but it alerts her to the fairy's presence, startling her. "Eh- Wh- EN OLE SYYTTÖINEN!!!-" She turns, looking like she's about to attack out of reflex. Her hair turns a bright red and her fur bristles. "EN VARASTANUT-... oh. A fairy! Vitun ninja keijut…" The arrival of a fairy would be normal, but this fairy looks... peculiar, not like the fairies she'd become used to seeing in Gensokyo. As she calms down from the shock, her hair returns to a sparkly blue. She tilts her head, staring at the fairy. "Was that you touching my tails? Bweh... I know why~! They're the best in this region of Gensokyo~! Don't you agree?" How smug...

The sound of a coin dropping into an offering box, followed by dull ringing of the shrine's bells. A rare occurrence for the shrine. But this time it is not of Gensokyo's Hakurei Shrine, or Gensokyo at all. The one performing these acts, the magician known as Aura, has left one land of fantasy for another for the purpose of exploration and investigation.

Clap! Clap!

Though he's following through with the motions of prayer, Aura's mind is instead focused on the short journey from the mysterious shard on the banks of that strangely straight river to this shrine, the unusual difficulty he had trying to travel on the tori lined road and so had to travel along side it, how well armed the fairies of this land were, the seemingly missing sun.

And now here he was, at Mugenri's Senri Shrine, using the prayer ritual to possibly attract the attention of the shrine's staff. Aura figures that if Mugenri is anything like Gensokyo, then those who live in these sacred grounds are the best to ask for information. All for as little as 500 yen...

"P-Please, I hope you understand, Lady Himiko..!" She had already explained the situation to Himiko before even noticing that there were fairies arriving.

"Aww... Alright, fine, I guess I'll have to protect the castle by myself then..!"

"T-Thank you!!" Equipped with her gear, she rushed out the front doors... and was met with the sight of armed fairies rushing forward, trying to get in!

"Oh geez, here we go..." Quickly, a great barrage of blue bullets shot out from her, all moving like rapid water waves.
