-Last song: Danganronpa V3 ~ All class trial music (Was working on my notes for my V3 podcast episode and wanted to listen to the soundtrack while working on it! Lol)

-Favorite color: Green! Specifically like a nice forest or emerald green!

-Last movie/TV series: Again, technically the last one I watched was Mickey Mouse Fun House (LOL! Ok so I gotta explain this one. Both me and my 2 year old son have been sick with Covid the last few days. So I've just been camped out on the couch with him and just watching whatever he wants to watch. Being a parent is great!)

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: I have a MONSTER sweet tooth. It is a real problem. Savory is good. Why on earth would anyone wanna inflict spicy pain on themselves?!

Relationship Status: Happily Married to my beautiful wife! She's the best thing that's ever happened to me! Anyone who knows me irl knows I go full Maes Huges if given a chance to brag about how awesome she or my son is!

Last thing Googled: "Pseudoregalia empty bailey - empathy" (LOL. That collectable was funny! I remember seeing that stupid thing up on the bell tower and trying to figure out how to get up there. And then after a bunch of fruitless Google searches, I looked over and saw there was a path off to the side that I could have taken.)

Why wouldn't Yuri have a wolf? It's practically his whole thing, like how many of his Artes involve wolves or parts of them in some form? (Eg: Fang Strike, Shining Fang, Wolf Strike, Lone Wolf Charge)

Because I think personality-wise he’s more cat-like than dog-like. I think Yuri is dog person who acts more like a cat, while Flynn is a cat person who acts more like a dog.

It’s hard for me to identify a character you talk about a lot for the character ask meme you just reblogged… but going off the few that I HAVE seen you be very chatty about, how about Utena?

If it helps I'm not entirely sure which particular characters I'm chatty about either.

How I feel about this character

-Strong Girl, Good Girl, needs therapy. The whole cast needs therapy that's why they were all dragged into this to begin with

All the people I ship romantically with this character

-The whole cast, I'm a filthy multishipper. Anthy is the main one, Touga is a result of the movie, everyone else is just because I lack any discernable preferences.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

-That's just a BROTP? did we forget that was a term?

-In any case Juri. I think they would've gotten along well in better circumstances.

My unpopular opinion about this character

-UTENA! IS! BISEXUAL! You would think that this wouldn't be a point of contention given how her attraction is portrayed in the movie and anime, but Tumblr likes ignoring bisexuality and so I have to continue with this point.

-Also I kinda prefer her movie design to the Anime one.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon

-Most of my thoughts are of the "wish fulfillment happy ending" sort, but if the series did get a continuation where Utena gets free from the perpetual impalement I would like to see Utena's trauma from the whole series/aforementioned impalement explored more. I know her character arc was about shedding her young "playing hero" fantasy and becoming a better, more mature person. But she gets put under a lot of stress in the series that I think could warrant discussion

How dare you diss Seliph/Larcei! /s In all seriousness, congrats on finishing FE4. You have way more patience than I did for sprawling, overly large maps and enemy density on par with the amazon rainforest. I just watched a play through after chapter 2 got me really annoyed.

It’s not really dissing on Seliph/Larcei, but being the ever so smiling Queen behind a balcony doesn’t seem to fit Larcei - who’s only characterisation was, beyond crushing on Shanan and believing her mom’s alive, running in the melee to rekt Dozels and free her country.

Maybe the new Queen of Granvalle wasn’t demoted to “hand-waving at the balcony” duty, but with this game, i can’t be sure. 

If Ethlyn and Quan’s mom could be respected as warriors and co-rulers, if Rahna was a Queen in her own right, i doubt the “Ladies of Granvalle” were anything else but ladies without a name - as in, we don’t care and we never mention them ever again

and this is why Hilda is a wonderful character in the second gen because she is part of the “Ladies of Granvalle”’s group, but she does things on her own! She had agency! even if it’s to hunt children or torture her sister-in-law to death

Currently watching: Jocat's heart of Elynthi campaign. I'm on episode 13 and DANG JO IS SUCH A GOOD DM!!! I freaking love it!

Currently obsessed with: I just finished Princess Peach Showtime and I'm still thinking about that ending. Man, Peach is so cool! (Also the Danganronpa V3 brain rot still persists as I slowly chip away at working on a fic I'm writing with the little free time I have. Which is none...)

5: Favorite Kirby Song? I have a lot, I like the Squeak Squad theme and Another Dimension. But right now I’m into Susie’s theme, Void Termina, and Star Allies Sparkler

7: Favorite Copy Ability? Oh man I have a lot, Animal from Squeak Squad, Leaf, Water, Whip and Spear from Return to Dream land, Beetle and Spider from Triple Deluxe, ESP and Staff are ones I like too. And also Jet, Fighter, and Wing. What can I say, I like a lot of them. If I had to pick one...I’d say Water.

8: Copy Ability that I like that I’m not good with? That’s a tough one...um I think I’m gonna say Cleaning. I like the ability and the idea of it but I think a lot of my other other favorite ones do the job better.

11: Favorite Star Ally? Can I say all of them? No, I have to pick one...okay. I guess I’m terms of the ones that provide abilities Adeline and Daroarch, and Non-Ability ones I would say Susie and Bandanna Dee. And if I had to pick one I would say Adeline, just because it’s good she made a comeback after all these years, and Ribbon too for a nice bonus.
