We work exclusively with small law firms across the country to develop, manage and promote their websites. About The Job:
As stated above, this position has four primary components. Here is expanded information on each:
Assisting clients with website support requests: When our clients would like to update their website they typically email the request to us. All requests are tracked in our helpdesk software. The people in this role must be able accurately understand, discuss, clarify and see requests through to completion while taking up minimal time from the client. Requests range from straightforward content updates, to installing plugins, making design changes, migrating hosting, updating photos, etc. Essentially all of the day-to-day things that come up with owning a website. You’ll also be delivering basic training to clients (when they request it), teaching them how to log into their website to publish new material and make basic edits.
Proactive website care: Something that sets our company apart is that we don’t sit back and wait for problems or client requests. We have a system set up to automatically prompt us to audit client websites to see if there are issues we should be fixing or bringing to their attention. We find this greatly enhances our relationship with the client and leads to many opportunities for up-selling services, or simply letting them know when things are getting stale. Typical issues we look for are blogs that haven’t been updated, date and experience references that are old, contact forms that are not working, broken links, and outdated content.
Assisting our website development team: Our development team is highly focused on the branding, messaging, design and initial programming of the website. As the website gets closer to completion, assistance is needed from the support team for minor CSS and programming tweaks and changes to the website theme. A support team member will also launch the website, so this involves tracking down domain names, making DNS changes and getting the website live on our servers (or the client’s 3rd party host).
Internal projects: During moments of down-time, we always have several in-house projects going on that can use a helping hand. Most frequently these projects will involve creating internal documentation for our processes, drafting FAQs or an instructional guide for our website, updating client records and other important but less time sensitive items than direct client service.
A Day In The Job May Look Like:
Handling of 10-15 minor helpdesk tickets that take anywhere from 5-10 minutes each
Auditing of 1-2 websites that takes 15-30 minutes each
Working on 2-3 more involved tickets or launching a website
Training a client via screen-sharing on how to use WordPress (30-45 minutes)
Helping the website team with adjustments to a WordPress theme
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following: 
Excellent writing, communication and time management skills
Experience working remotely and with remote teams
Experience building and supporting websites
Basic SEO and marketing knowledge
Strong WordPress knowledge; including editing WordPress themes and basic PHP and Javascript.
Working knowledge of finding solutions on StackOverflow, search engines or in 3rd Party Documentation
Comfortable with making CSS and HTML edits
Experience with using Inspect Element in Modern Browsers
Working knowledge of domain registrations, cPanel/WHM, website hosting, CDNs and DNS
Basic graphic editing skills (cropping, resizing, light touching-up)
Ability to work inside of Adobe Photoshop (PSDs)
Willingness to learn supplementary/complementary skills as needed to support your job tasks
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with law firms and working with lawyers
Familiarity with Zoho Desk and the Zoho One suite
2+ years of website customer support experience

Golden Gate Bridge

It’s the fifth most-visited park in the United States, and larger than New York City’s Central Park. Go For a Hike in the City

Laguna
A newer restaurant in San Francisco, Laguna lets you get your brunch fix seven days a week.
The menu has all of your classics: fried chicken and a Belgian waffle, a pulled pork hash, and the popular “Build a Benedict” with your choice of bottom (English muffin or potato cake) and middle (bacon, pulled pork, smoked salmon, avocado, or mushrooms); There are also plenty of lunch options, like burgers, salads, and a lobster grilled cheese.
HRD
This Korean take on a taqueria has inspired deep affection from techies, who line up on their lunch breaks for a spicy pork bibimbap salad, bulgogi burrito, or Japanese curry enchiladas. Much of the menu is under $15, portions are huge, and service is nice. The self-proclaimed “global fusion food” is heavy on Korean-Mexican-Japanese mashups like the massive kimchee katsu burritos drowning in Japanese curry. WesBurger ‘N’ More
WesBurger has a classic old-school diner vibe and serves up more than just an amazing burger. Their menu features steaks, burritos, chicken sandwiches, salads, and much more. The most famous burger is the “Hot Wes,” a combination of crisp onion rings and spicy pickled jalapeños on a six-ounce patty smothered in queso for $11. A side of tater tots is also highly recommended.
Yuanbao Jiaozi
This place is known for its handmade dumplings filled and hand-rolled by staff behind a glass window. The dumplings come either straight-up (14 per order) or in broth (12 per order) for just less than $10.

Golden Gate Bridge
A true icon. Not just a must-see for visitors to San Francisco, but a common destination for plenty of visitors to California and the broader U.S alike. It’s the most photographed bridge in the world, and it’s right in your backyard! The bridge’s familiar 746ft tall towers have stood watch over San Francisco Bay since 1937. Even when shrouded by fog (and you’ll come to find that it often is!) the bridge never fails to impress. Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park boasts over 1,000 acres of rolling hills, groves of trees, gorgeous gardens and other hidden treasures scattered throughout. It’s the fifth most-visited park in the United States, and larger than New York City’s Central Park. Go For a Hike in the City
San Francisco is criscrossed by several hiking trails, and there’s something for everyone’s skill level. For more advanced hikers, the Creek to Peaks trail at Glen Canyon Park takes you across steep, rocky terrain. Palace of Fine Arts

You therefore need to know what you can afford, and choose accordingly. It’s difficult to maintain a healthy work/life balance when you’re struggling to make your rent or mortgage payments!
Find a roommate. If you’re moving to San Francisco on your own, finding a roommate (whether it’s for an apartment or the whole house) is a sensible way to save money on housing costs. Try to negotiate your rent. While it’s unlikely that this will work with apartments, it’s still possible to negotiate your rent down to something more affordable, particularly with renting a house.
Move during the winter. Winter is often considered the “off-season” when it comes to moving and you can sometimes find better deal on rent.
Look for a place outside of the city. Urban living is expensive in most cities. But the Bay Area offers a variety of places to live that are just a short distance to San Francisco. Take a look at Palo Alto, San Mateo, Redwood City, or San Jose, for example. This is especially true if you’re looking to work for giants such as Facebook, Cisco, Google, or Adobe.
Commuting
If you’re able to find housing in San Francisco that meets your budget, you need a way to get around. While you can drive, it might be a better option to use public transportation. Not having a car can save you money between the costs for gas, parking, insurance, taxes and other fees that come with car ownership!
Fortunately, San Francisco has an excellent public transportation system. It provides bus, cablecar, and rail services throughout the city. You can purchase a monthly pass for the cablecar, train and bus networks for about $70. Alternatively, depending on where you live, you might be able to cycle or walk to work.

Golden Gate Bridge

It’s the fifth most-visited park in the United States, and larger than New York City’s Central Park. Go For a Hike in the City

Palace of Fine Arts

You’ll touch base with the client periodically by phone and email to discuss results and brainstorm on new ideas.  Our team includes:
A dedicated writer for each blogging account
Coding and graphic assistance from our web design team
Our content director to advise on content strategy
Discrete tasks that you’ll do as part of this job include:
Keyword and content research
Basic site optimization tasks (improve headings, fixing links, modify phrasing)
Monitoring rankings
Create an SEO roadmap for new clients
Publishing a blog post drafted by our team
Auditing the website for speed performance and implementing improvements
Responding to client questions
Generate new blog topic and content ideas
Modify the website to try a new idea
Create a performance report and send to client
In a typical day you’ll likely jump between several clients and do things like:
Publish a couple blog posts for different clients
Audit a website’s SEO issues and begin fixing problems
Respond to several client emails
Call a client to do a quarterly review
Update 2-3 websites with minor client requests
Roll out a new ad format for PPC accounts
Over the course of a month, the typical work on a single website will add up around 4 hours and may look like:
Publish new blog entry provided by writing team
Research competitors and modify keywords on site
Encourage client to solicit a few new client reviews
A/B testing of contact form placement
Test new ad copy and several new keywords in Google Ad campaign
Quarterly review call with client
Much of the work on our client sites is proactive and self-directed. We want our clients to know that we’re on top of things, thinking about their needs and regularly strategizing on ways to improve.
Qualifications
Previous experience managing SEO and PPC accounts. 
Experience working with lawyers and the legal industry.
Experience interacting with clients directly.
Is able to express themselves clearly through writing and phone calls.
Ability to structure and document processes
Experience working remotely
Loves to plan and research new tactics to share with our team
Pay, Benefits and Details:
$60,000 yearly salary

100% remote but must have significant overlap with 9am-5pm EST workday. Can also work at our HQ in Ann Arbor, MI
