Sunday blessings, friends! How can I pray for you this week? Whether in families or nations, we are always making plans for our future. But investing in a relationship with the one who holds it is the best and only path to long-term security. When we do what is right in the eyes of the Lord, he will work things for our good. But he will not suffer long with those who flout his decrees. On June 19th, we commemorated an end to an evil that added sand to the foundation of houses and threatened the survival of our nation itself. Many have opinions about Friday’s events as well, but I urge you to do your Biblical homework and pray for God’s guidance before weighing in. What is God’s desire for marriage and families? What does Biblical history tell us of the value of infants to God and the consequences of society’s treatment of them? And more importantly, how can we be ambassadors of Christ even when we disagree?
