I rather dislike Harry Styles but I have decided that it's honestly a waste of my energy to get mad about him and I think I'm one step closer to achieving inner peace
#i could not give two shits about him#what i've heard from his music is rather mediocre and his image feels inauthentic#i don't think he's ''queerbaiting'' because that's not something individuals can do#unless we assume he's teasing his audience by being ambiguous and stringing them along with half assed gender nonconformity#but like even if he is the straightest guy to ever straight it's still not a crime for him to be dressing the way he does#and celebrities don't owe you shit so he has every right to not label himself or be direct about his sexuality#i just think we give him wayyyyy too much credit for being a straight up poser#especially teens who think he made some kind of big breakthrough for gnc men in the music industry and brought androgyny into the spotlight#while they ignore the plethora of actual queer and gnc artists who came before him and did a fuck ton more for the lgbtq+ community#so all in all harry styles has done very little. i'm not saying he shouldn't dress the way he does but it's not groundbreaking#and i also just don't like his music lol but that's subjective innit
