i’m gonna say something that might upset some of you but i find it funny how many people love the line “if you never bleed you’re never gonna grow” in the 1 but don’t realize it’s 100% a reference to a line matty wrote a decade earlier 😭

#to be clear this is not a post about shipping them or anything we all know that relationship was a train wreck!!#i just it’s interesting that a lot of people don’t know about the parallel #i’ve been a 1975 stan since i was 12 so it was the first thing i thought of when i heard the 1 for the first time #i also think a lot of people did find this out when they got together but i don’t think most swifties knew about it before that #unless they were already fans of the 1975 like me and idk that’s just crazy for me to think about #lj speaks now
