So much about Ferengi is fun, and could be SO fun and funny. If it weren't for all the spaces for cool stuff being filled with the boring fantasies of weird sex pests
#berman and his spawn who was even worse#and their constant catsuits and weird sex things#it ruins my fun#i cant enjoy ferengi because almost the entire time they're in the federation until like the finale of ds9 they just ARE slave owners#which is illegal#unless the slaves are all the feeeemales#who are also required to be naked by law so they can never leave the house#cuz we love a good sexist joke here#but that just makes them slave-owners that the federation is cool with#it fucks up the tone and logic of the series so bad#but we can throw out ANY basic worldbuilding and tone foundations if it means i get to write a society where women and girls are#chattel slaves kept permanently naked#i fuckin guess
