Z Money – Shawty Paid –A calmer release, less ignorant than the previous one. Nice Gucci guest verse to boot. Need a few relistens.

Dj muggs and eto – hells roof – Not much interested in Eto. A Marciano feature though.

Larry June – Trap Larry – Generic.

Kool John – Up All Night 2 – Pretty fun for what it is.

Philthy Rich – Big 59 – Philthy is in the top form now. He def won his beef with Mozzy with this one.

DJ Fresh – Late Night Freeway Vibez Vol 1 – Decent.

Rockin Rolla – First Quarter – Boog helped on this one. Nice. Rough.

Queen Key – Eat My Pussy Again – I eat all kinda shit, pussy included but this feels more like faux black feminism served cold. Without video it’s listenable.

BandGang Lonnie Bands – KOD – King is back though I’d argue he may not be a king. Excellent as usual.

Westside Gunn – Fourth Rope – Have nothing to say about this except it has a Roc Marciano feature.

The Mekanix – Donuts – Kinda uneven. And I’m not into donuts anyway. I’m not a cop.

[Electro] Alavux - Repetitor EP

As a run up to his forthcoming full-length album release, Alavux releases the Repetitor EP, four slices of dark electro techno vibes. One of Serbia's most prolific producers and electronic activists, I've been following his music from the beginning and seeing the raw vibes and energy that were displayed so early on come to fruition with top notch production skills by a seasoned veteran is a pleasure. But don't get it twisted - knowledge on the boards hasn't resulted in any slick digital sheen wrapping itself around the cuts - this music is raw, it pulses, it vibes and most importantly it will get played in the clubs.
