Have you ever like… watched a really good movie and then for some reason completely forgot about its existence and then years later you discover the movie again and remember that you liked it but forgot everything else about it and so you rewatch it and basically get to relive the movie for the first time again?
Anyways, I fucking love Unicorn Store and if you have Netflix, please watch it 🩷🩷🩷

Hey! Please feel free to ignore but you did say to ask you about masks :P the ones I've found that are multiple layers for max protection are really stiff, which squishes my face and leads to gaps. Do you have recommendations? Thanks!
I know that there's a lot of noise about elastomeric masks but for me they're a nonstarter because of the stiffness you talk about. I think it's important to understand that most of the 94-95 standard masks that actually meet that standard are going to be plenty good enough where most people are concerned. Is it possible to catch Covid with a mask on? Yes. I've done it.
Is it likely? No. I'm immune compromised. This isn't data, but our experience has been that a combination of masks, reasonable common sense and good filtration are enough that despite having a school-aged child, a husband who travels for conventions, and me, immune suppressed, with a college student living in our house, I have only had covid twice, the first time was an unfortunate collision of me going to a store at the wrong time where a clerk had both covid and the flu and gave them to me, and the other one involved a family member not using a mask at a public event while eating. Even then, when I caught covid and the flu at the same time and isolated immediately with filtration and everyone coming into my space being masked... not one other person in our house caught it, and when someone else caught it a year later, the only people who caught it were sharing sleeping spaces. Our roommates did not catch it, and everyone was masking from the moment of the first positive test. When my kid got half-assed about masking at school, he immediately got flu and strep at the same time. I pointed out that his lack of care about it could mean a lot of missed school for him and serious health impacts for both of us, and he started wearing a mask again, and did not get sick for the rest of the school year. He HATES the masks that go behind the head and wears Armbrust kn95 masks exclusively (dark blue, lol) And it's pretty clear that without the masks he was getting sick a lot and with he just...doesn't. He is wearing them all day except for lunch through full school days, so that says something. Armbrust will send little behind the head doohickies to keep them off the ears but he never uses them. At $2ish per mask they're not the cheapest but he uses one mask for multiple days so it's not too bad overall cost wise. They have kid sizing, but he's in the regular adult size now at 11. Now, I'll talk about Armbrust for a minute because I really like the company. On pretty much every mask they sell you'll see a video of one of their people reviewing the mask and going over testing data... but they ALSO have reviews of almost every other mask on the market, bad, good and in between, and if you find a mask on Amazon or something and want to know more about it, search the mask name and "armbrust" and the youtube video and product data page will pop up. I've found several special masks for very particular needs by looking through their database for combinations of breathability and shape that weren't even masks they sold. So if you are struggling, take a look at the database, eliminate "failed" masks, look for the ones that meet your needs and then watch the video to see what he says about them first. There are some VERY inexpensive masks out there that work very well, and some masks that are incredibly breathable or incredibly high filtration and a few unicorns that are both.
Now Hubby is okay with the same KN95 masks that our son likes but he exercises and his lungs get a little touchy sometimes so he needs maximum ease in breathing, so using that database I found Dr. Puri masks. Here's the Armbrust review. Here's the listing I found them on. Hubby LOVES them. He also prefers behind the ear. About $1.50 each.
I *hate* behind the ear with a hot hate, they bug me. But I can't just use one type of mask all the time because I have EDS and neck issues so pressure there can be awkward, plus I get short of breath sometimes anyway (history of pulmonary embolism that long predates covid) and I have sensory skin issues.
Bar none the most breathable mask I've ever tried, which also does not fog my glasses, is the Drager mask. These are soft, extraordinarily easy to breathe through, and have a unique strap that makes on/off very easy, and lets you pull the top strap and let it hang around your neck if needed. Unfortunately it has a VERY snug fit across the nose and leaves marks on my cheeks, or it would be perfect, but it's a good option, and possibly someone with a smaller face would have an easier time. These are possibly the best filtering and most breathable masks on the market, so for high risk situations this is the mask I would use. They filter 99.7% in testing. They're a little more expensive at about $1.25 per when I checked today. For a good intersection of fit and comfort, but a little less breathable, are the ACI N95 surgical respirator duckbills. These do not leave marks, don't fog much, good seal around the face, and the single most comfortable head strap I've ever seen. The fabric is very smooth, it is sensory good, but the breathability is not as high. It's not hard to breathe through, it's just not as easy as Drager or Dr. Puri. But... They could probably pass an N99 standard by Armbrust's testing, as they filter >99.4% of particulate, where the standard is 95%. These are also incredibly cheap. If you get their subscribe and save discount (you can do every 6 months) you can get 50 for $25, so 50 cents apiece.
All of these masks are pretty soft, easy to wear, and very good at what they do.
The TL:DR though.... The important thing is to find a mask that you will wear consistently and correctly every time you need it. A mask that hangs on your face and slips is not a good mask for you. A mask you hate so much you make excuses not to wear it is not a good mask for you. A mask that breaks easily or makes it hard to breathe so you end up taking it off is not a good mask. If what you have isn't working, there are LOTS of things that might.
Last Armbrust plug: THEY HAVE A SAMPLER PACK. You can buy a pack of a zillion different types and styles of mask and try a bunch! And order the one you like best! If you aren't sick, one sampler pack can be tried by the people in your household so everyone can figure out what works for them!
Also, I used to get sick very very often and now I just...don't. Not from contagious viruses, anyway. I don't understand why people are so cavalier about it. I've been sick less since 2020 than in any given six month period in my entire life. Despite being on immune suppressants.

Good Morning! Super excited for these next set of eps to review.
We’ve reached the iconic and pivotal DOD eps. I’m nervously excited to review these. I want to do them justice. They are momentous for not just Chenford but the entire series. Rosalind Dyer is one of my fav recurring baddies. I loved Annie from Castle as well. Was psyched she would be joining The Rookie. This was a rare one where I got to use all the gifs I wanted to. Yay. Kid in a Chenford candy store haha Thank you to all the wonderful gif makers out there. You are the real MVP's. Let’s get this started :)
2x10 The Dark Side
We start with Lucy and the guys out for a post work drink. Armstrong is there as well. They’re talking about Jackson dating a celebrity. Asking how that is? Lucy says they’re happy if he’s happy. Nick calls her bluff and says ‘Liar.’ LMAO Lucy cracks and says men suck ha They sure can. That the single men in LA suck. That whenever they find out she’s a cop they freak out. (To touch on not dating a cop bit. It is only a mistake when it’s not Tim. Let’s be real.) Especially while she's still a rookie just not a good idea (cough Nolan cough) He was never a good decision though....not even a little bit. I'll die on that hill haha
Armstrong joins the convo and comes in with some solid advice. ‘Those aren’t men they’re boys. Real men are not afraid of a strong woman.’ Your real man just isn’t ready yet my dear. Nor are you. I really love this scene though. I enjoyed Nick a lot as a character. Poor Lucy she goes on her 'Sister Officer Lucy Chen' rant ha Classic. Oh the irony of this convo. In S5 she definitely isn't in a nunnery anymore heh. That is quite awhile away from this point though. Have to note how pretty she looks in this scene. Her outfit is simple but she looks stunning.
Lucy leaves the table to get another round. That’s when Lucy runs into Caleb….really unfortunate that’s his name. That’s my BIL's name haha He seems normal enough with his flirting with Lucy. Both of them being ignored for another drink by the bartender. He's making her laugh and appearing nice and kind. Ugh run Lucy run…Their moment gets interrupted by Lucy noticing a guy stealing tips. She walks away from the convo and apologizes. End ups arresting the thief. The way she takes him down is bad ass I have to say. (Tim would be proud) Says 'Surprise I’m a cop’ haha
Roll call comes around and they find out about Rosalind Dyer. A rare unicorn in their world. A female serial killer. She’s agreed to show them the 3 bodies that were never found. In exchange she gets life with no parole instead of the death penalty. Everyone’s day is now centered around this. Tim and Lucy discuss her past murders. Lucy telling Tim she was in college when they found the first victims.
That it was all anyone could talk about, wondering how a woman could be so barbaric? Tim shares his own story about it. How he worked a scene for the 4th victim. That he was advised not to look at the body. How he wish he hadn’t… The hindsight of watching this scene unfold right before they run into Caleb. It’s bone chilling to think about. Their convo being framed around this before he shows up.
Caleb shows up and Tim is immediately suspicious and does not like this guy. His face has me rolling the entire time. Gives Caleb a hard time about the word 'Perp'. His facial expressions I can not LOL Now part of this reaction is his cop gut. I truly believe that. Not trusting whoever this guy is for Lucy. His default is suspicion. The fierce protector coming out to play in this scene.
I think the rest of his reaction is him just not liking this guy being interested in Lucy. Jealously thy name is Timothy Bradford. Its seeping out of him and he can't stop himself. He's completely forgotten he's dating one of her closest friends in this moment. Written all over his face how territorial he’s being right now. I always love me some protective/jealous Tim. This scene and honestly this entire episode is full of that.
Lucy’s face is screaming ‘chill out’ the entire interaction. She's basically scolding him with her eyes above. They have a mini silent conversation with their eyes before the scene continues. If that isn't the most married look they've had so far. I love it so much. He definitely looks reprimanded in that second gif above. Tim is as transparent as person can be in this scene. Not even trying to hide it a little bit. Caleb has shown up and Tim's guard and protective nature are out in full force. Doesn't like this guy just showing up and sniffing around at all.
Caleb is clearly nervous around Tim (as he should be..) It's too funny he keeps trying regardless to talk to Lucy. Tim deftly snags the paper out of the air. She didn't have a chance of grabbing it. Caleb has to sense how much Tim doesn't want him here. He could not be less welcoming of this man. Tim reads the paper and he asks if Caleb has a last name LOL He says Wright. The irony of that last name...
I doubt our boy even knows why he’s reacting this way to Caleb. Only that he is and very strongly at that. All his feelings when it comes to Lucy are muddled and confusing for him. Yet he acts on them anyway. From the moment this guy showed up the green eyed monster was present. Tim continues to grill him. He asks what he does for a living? Says if it’s a screenwriter he’s going in a cell. He really hates screenwriters haha A theme through out the show for him.
Eric’s facial expressions during this entire scene truly is perfection. Look at the way he looks at Caleb as he leaves. If looks could kill he would be a dead man. Also you can see the mask on Caleb drop when he turns away from them (shudder). The immense distrust written all over Tim's rigid body language. You'd have to be blind not to see it. Both of their faces above are a summary of the entire scene. Lucy is happy to have caught the eye of a 'decent' guy. Tim doesn't trust this guy as far as he can throw him.
Tim doesn’t even think he’s done anything wrong till he turns around and sees her face. Kudos to Melissa for the great reaction. He says 'What?' All innocent like he didn't just drag that guy through the mud. Treat him like a criminal they deal with on the daily. She is so affronted and honestly confused as hell with his reaction. Her face basically saying 'What the hell was that?'
From the moment Caleb shows up to the moment he leaves Tim is NOT pleased with his presence. Lucy is truly confused as to why he is acting this way. She can’t put together why he was trying to kill that entire interaction. We all know Lucy included (deep down) this was jealously thorough and through. But she chalks it up to him being stressed about how crazy everything is right now. Sure that’s it Lucy…She demands the paper back with just her face and outreached hand. Tim is shocked she wants the number of this doofus. He relents and unwillingly hands it back to her. Almost rolling his eyes as he does so.
They’re driving in a caravan to the first burial site. Lucy is looking at Calebs online profile in the car. Tim snaps at her to focus. That this is going to be most dangerous day she’s ever going to spend on the job. Oh the weight of that comment when you know these eps….They both have no idea how true that’s going to be. Might seem like he’s mad when really he’s protecting her by getting her to focus. It’s his way of doing it. I also think it's a little frustration bleeding over from the whole Caleb thing. Not that he's going to put that together right now. Hell doesn't even realize how territorial and jealous he just was.
We rejoin Tim and Lucy once they arrive at the first spot. They're talking about Rosalind during this 'Hike' to find the remaining bodies. Tim asks if she’s less scary in the light of day? Lucy tells him no…but mentions how smart she must be. To have gotten away with this for so long undetected. Lucy smartly mentions there’s a play here they’re not seeing.
Tim tells her it’s just to jerk them around. Oh my love it is far more than that. Lucy is so sharp to observe this hike has to be more than just her deal. She is proven right when they find a fresher body in one of the grave sites with the old one. It’s obvious she has a partner on the outside they just don’t know who…
Lucy is looking at Caleb’s “profile” again. Watching a video of him with a puppy. Jealous/Protective Tim makes his next appearance. Could not be more obvious if he tried. Not a fan of her being enamored by this guy. He makes a snide remark saying I bet that’s not even his puppy. It’s scary how spot on he was with Caleb the entire time. It’s mainly from jealously and being protective of her, but it’s frightening how dead on his cop gut was. He turned out to right about everything with him.
Lucy naturally gives him push back and says she just wants to enjoy a cute puppy. That it’s been an awful day. Can't she just do that? Jealous Tim won't agree with her. So he is a little shit and says 'This your first decomp right? ' Watching her face go from happy to grossed out LOL Oh Tim. He knows how bad this smell is going to be for her and is enjoying it haha The way she follows after him is too funny. Melissa is also amazing at expressing so much as well.
The eerie part of this scene is it’s them being the ones to discover the DOD tattoo… There are so many forewarnings in this episode for her. For them. Literally smacking us in the face with them. That could’ve been her if things had gone wrong... Ugh my heart. They find out the newer victim was suffocated…What an awful way to die. I’m asthmatic and it gives me a pre-asthma attack just thinking about it.
A light hearted part of this scene is once again the lack of personal space. Ah personal space. They don't know her and never will. We're all ok with this notion. Nolan ends up getting Rosalind to lead them to the second site. They find a new body in it with a DOD Tattoo. The freshest one yet. They realize it’s every three months. That 12/09/19 is the the next DOD. John notes it’s 12/08 they have a day to find the next victim.
Tim and Lucy join Armstrong at the jail to search Rosalind cell once again. Trying to find some connection. A way her and this person have been communicating. Nick asks where her books are and they say they sent them back. He asks for every book she's read in the last 6 months.
They’re searching all the books and of course Lucy is the one to crack the code. I love it. Finds something in the binding. Its a coded piece of paper. She figures out the cypher fairly quickly. You know Tim loves how damn smart she is. He’s impressed. She figures out a name from the code. My girl. Bryan Coleman. Funny that doesn’t sound like Caleb Wright….
Harper and Nolan end up saving the next girl. They find out he’s been using the old abandoned zoo as his staging ground. What kills me is them saving her condemns Lucy. They stopped him from scratching that sick itch. Grey tells them all to go home and rest. Lucy spins around and tells Tim she’s just going to go home and crash.
Tim tells her that’s a mistake and gives her the advice that will haunt him in the next episode. Hell for quite awhile if I’m being honest. He will carry this moment with him for a long time. Says after a hardcore assignment she needs to blow off some steam. Find a way to decompress. If she doesn’t she’ll never get any sleep.
Lucy is super cute asking if he's really telling her to go get a drink instead? He tells her yes. Preferably a strong one even with another human being. We all know who that human being is going to be….Side note I adore the fact that he always opens the door for her. Doesn't even realize he's doing that. Just does it out of habit. Her real man standing right in front of her but it is far too early for that hehe
Literally makes me sick to watch her scene with Caleb. My skin crawls knowing where it’s headed. He took advantage of Lucy with her guard down. Her cop eyes we're retired for the night. Just trying to decompress. We go back to the station where Grey tells John and Nick they found a body at the old zoo. Bryan Coleman. Which can only mean one thing as we go back to Lucy. That Caleb is the apprentice….
She goes from giggly and relaxed to sheer terror in a matter of moments. He drugged her and Lucy is slowly realizing the situation she is now in. He also snags her phone before she can use it. Sadly she is over powered easily due the drug he gave her. Then sticks her in the trunk of his car. The ep ends there.
It’s a crazy stressful two-parter. So damn good though. I remember when this first premiered how hard it was to wait for the next episode. I’m pre emotional just thinking about analyzing the next episode. Can’t wait to do it though.
~~~~
Side Notes-Non Chenford
Wopez good scenes not many but really good. Wes clearing not handling his post traumatic stress well. Mixing his prescription with alcohol. Angela coming home asking if he was trying to kill himself. He says I don’t know… Not a great answer bud.
The whole Rosalind SL. It’s so dark but so good. Getting a deeper look into Nick and seeing some chinks in his armor. What he sacrificed to catch her. It’s very good. I enjoyed his character a lot and getting more depth with him as well.
Thank you as always to those that like/comment/reblog these reviews. It’s means the world to me. I love doing these and they take time to assemble. But they’re so worth doing to enjoy this rewatch together. I’m also enjoying the hell out of analyzing these eps and our beloved couple. I’ll see you all in 2x11 :)
🎭💥 The Quirky Adventures of Exposure Therapy for Body Dysmorphia 💥🎭
So, I've been diving into exposure therapy for my body dysmorphia, and let me tell you, it's like starring in my own reality show where the only contestant is me—and the judges are a bunch of overly critical, imaginary fashion critics. 👗🎤
First up on the docket: facing mirrors. I walked past one and thought, "Hey, let’s try looking at my reflection with a fresh perspective." What I actually saw was an entire committee of my insecurities huddled around critiquing every pore, wrinkle, and stray hair. I’m pretty sure they’re drafting a strongly-worded letter to my self-esteem. 📝😅
Then came the “selfie challenge.” You know, the one where you take a bunch of selfies and try to be okay with how you look. My phone’s front camera is now convinced it’s auditioning for a role in a horror film. 🎥📸 Every snap was like a close-up of an extra from The Ring. I ended up using filters so strong I looked like a digital unicorn. 🦄✨
And the pièce de résistance? Wearing something that’s not my “safe outfit.” I put on a pair of jeans that weren’t “approved” by my internal fashion committee. The result? A full-on existential crisis in the fitting room. I’m pretty sure I spent ten minutes trying to convince myself that yes, the jeans do fit, and no, the fabric wasn’t conspiring against me. 👖🙈
So here’s to continuing the journey, one awkward mirror glance and selfie filter at a time. If you see me out there, adjusting my clothes and giving myself pep talks in store windows, just know I'm working on it. And maybe, just maybe, learning that my reflection doesn’t need a review committee after all.
Today's review: Marvel legends Deadpool!
CAPTAIN DEADPOOL! Nah, Just Deadpool...
Any who, where to begin with this guy. I had wanted a Marvel Legends Deadpool for the longest time and, since he was only available before in a 2 pack with incorrect guns, I waited for the inevitable re-release that would come. Now Deadpool finds himself as part of the Marvel Legends Legacy line so, like many people, I was not to miss out! Essentially, Legacy is going to be a collection of figures that will always be on shelves. Popular characters that should always be available to buy; Iron Man, Spider Man etc. All the top sellers and most popular basically.
Deadpool has excellent detail all over. Not one thing from his belt to his face is improperly painted. The only thing I've seen fans gripe over is that half the hands have the DP2 silver backing whilst the other half have the DP1 black backing. Makes no odds to me, really. The sculpted details are spot on, as well. His mask has a nice material finish and his chest has the damage to it we see on screen next to his right shoulder.
Articulation in this figure has allowed me to execute tonnes of onscreen images above. Double jointed neck, butterfly shoulders, excellent ab crunch, waist joint, double jointed knees and elbows... he has the lot you'd hope for. All making the playability of this figure as good as could be expected.
Accessories are abundant as well with Deadpool. He has both katanas, which store on his back, both Desert Eagle guns and his dagger to round out weapons. He also comes with 4 sets of hands (sword hands, gun hands, closed fists and expressive open hands) as well as his unicorn plush for... yeah, for that.
I give Deadpool 10/10 - complete bargain for the price and well worth it if you don't already have this nutjob!
It’s Toy Time Tuesday! With ShimmerCorns Sparkle Makeover Galaxie! Not only is TTT on time this time, but it’s got a real digging in review. First to note is that this IS a ‘kiddie toy’ and I only got her because she was 5 dollars. If she looks big, she is, she’s a bit over 9 inches tall. To sum up the whole line and the idea of this: An Interesting Idea That Didn’t Quite Do It You can SEE what they were going for, first in the name “oh a shimmering unicorn” but they broke up the word and YES everywhere will try to sell you literal ears/cobs and cans of corn when searching. It makes “Corn” too much a part of the label. So the name idea but then it didn’t execute quite right. The Eyes There is a ‘crystal’ faceted shape of transparent plastic over the eye paint which was an attempt at being ‘Twinkle Eye Pony Like’, however it distorts the eye’s details when viewed right-on, and looks like odd goo from the face-on direction. It makes the eyes confusing to look at. The hooves: They’re pointed like a high heel shoe, but they have random faceting all over to make them ‘crystal like’ but making the only very-smooth and elegant part of the horse be lumpy for any reason isn’t...the best? The face: At least the eyes are on the side of the head! It may have the face of a silly fish, but at least they weren’t trying to make it into a dog. (Finally) The name: They tried to name her but then they just spelled Galaxy in a different way that manages to sound exactly the same as if it was spelled normally. Again it’s another ‘not quite’. The gimmick: It’s a kids thing, so you use the greenish stencil to use the markers on the paper wings. However, they’re taped into the box plastic & they are simple thinner cardstock so 1 wing will always have tape on it, or rip. You can then store the stencil behind the wing (last photo) and mount the colored paper over the wing as seen. Box differences: Notice the horn was originally green (did it glow?) And the eye makeup/stars were pink instead of gold. Also if you have to display part of the toy behind itself so that people can see the toy better...it might be something to think of. I kind of mind how close this got to being something really cool? Like the dark purple with glitter plastic is fantastic, 2 colors of spray that goes with it really well (ankle & nose) the almost mechanical look of the removable wings, the neck symbol, hair tinsel/amount of hair, and added 3D detail for the tail and neck. It’s all great! A gimmick that doesn’t ruin the toy (infinitely replaceable paper & re-use-stencils that aren’t attached) They’re all really good. I consider this like a ‘fairy horse’ where it’s a totally different thing that isn’t/shouldn’t expected to look like a horse, but a “horse-creature”. I would not have bought if this was whatever the suggested retail was, like 20 dollars or something (comes with lots of parts, markers, etc) because I don’t like the sculpt that well, but for 5 dollars I wasn’t going to say no. (Always the question: What is so wrong with horses that they want to make toy horses that DONT look like horses? What is the point of this? It happens all. the. time. “I want a horse toy that doesn’t look anything like a horse”--then what are you wanting! )
Idk if it’s because I’m old school. But lunar tides hair dye fucking sucks. 1. It’s expensive. Including shipping it’s nearly $25. That’s a lot.
2.The box it comes in isn’t discrete. So anyone can come and steal it knowing it’s hair dye. This is just a personal issue, it’s why I hate amazon too. I just think things should be in bland packaging.
3. It doesn’t come with gloves. Literally so confused by this. I don’t think I’ve ever bought hair dye besides Unicorn hair (but that’s because I bought just the pot in store) so you’re paying nearly $30 for just hair dye and they can’t even give you simple 30 cent cheapo gloves?
4. The color. Yes, they have a lot of color! Love that, but nothing on their website shows an accurate photo of what the color will come out. Like what so ever. It looks like a diluted ashy version. Yeah it looks good but only if you use a ring light, but even then it’s not the same color as they advertise.
5. It makes my hair feel soooo dry. I have very thick hair, it doesn’t damage with dye and bleach even when you use 60 vol. I didn’t even bleach my hair this time, but my hair feels like it needs to be soaked in oil.
6. The bottles???? Full of fucking air. I had this explode on me several times when trying to get dye out causing dye to get EVERYWHERE. Like I’ve used bottles like that before, and not once have they ever farted so big that it got dye on my legs. Not to mention I even noticed when I unboxed it there was a good half inch or even full inch of zero product at the top. This caused the bottle, when I opened the sanitation seal, to start to ALSO spurt dye because it vacuumed itself and now wanted out.
Like I’m genuinely confused as to how this shit is so popular. For rich white kids who want shitty hair maybe. The pros of it are definitely: has many options for color, has many options for size, and has good coverage. But other than that????? Get fucked I might as well use splat because I can get all of those pros AND I don’t get any cons.
Is it possible I got a bad batch??? I hope so. Because I genuinely haven’t seen ANY negative reviews.
Introduction/Rules for my blog
Name: Mila
Name pronouncing: mee-la
Gender: Female (she/her)
Username origin: Got it from the side of a Kellogg’s Unicorn cereal box where you search for your “Unicorn Name”. My name begins with an “M” and it was next to the word “Violet”. My birthday is in October, and that was next to “Feather Wind”. It’s also where I got the idea of giving myself purple feather earrings, even though I don’t own any.
Goals: Creating an independent animation studio where I can create original projects/becoming an animator
Personal animation preference: 2D animation that is traditionally hand drawn/detailed. Doesn’t matter the art style or medium. Nothing rigged, puppeted, or limited.
Likes: Cartoons (mostly western), animation, Hot Topic, comics, alternative styles (like grunge, goth, scene, punk, etc), boys’ clothing, animals (such as puppies, frogs, manatees, small birds, axolotls, Guinea pigs, etc), cyberpunk style, sci-fi, techno music, big band music, jazz music space themes/aesthetics, musicals, original songs, creating original characters, hanging out with friends, talking about interests to my friends, when people respect my likes and boundaries, soda (no diet or zero), junk food, cheese pizza (depends on where it’s from, I’m picky), going to the movies, traveling, sketchbooks, art stores, soap, having my hair straight, when my face is clear, singing, and plushies (there’s tons more, but here’s what I can think of😅)
Dislikes: When people don’t respect my dislikes and boundaries, making noises/showing me stuff/talking about stuff I don’t like/playing something just to tick me off or see my reaction, being taken advantage of, people being ***holes online (and irl), when someone says their opinions are facts, when people use their race/ethnicity as an excuse for how their parents raised/treated them (or just about anything that has nothing to do with their race), people pushing their agenda on to people, corporal punishment, people forcing their religion or beliefs onto others, politics, when people don’t take me seriously, being ignored, when people say my opinions and preferences are wrong, when I say that I have never seen/heard of/been interested in a certain genre/food/movie or show and they say “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! SERIOUSLY?! HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW/LIKE THAT?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!”, feces humor, creepy crawlers and insects (like spiders, hornets, bees, flies, wasps, yellow jackets, beetles, roaches, etc), getting water in my ears and nose, acne, when something I wanted to buy being sold out, when I can’t find what I’m looking for at a certain store, needles, rude people, ableist people, when people tell me: “Well, that’s life for ya” or “That’s just life, get used to it” and stuff like that, when people don’t flush the toilet or don’t wipe the toilet seat, artificial intelligence (AI), when bots follow me, creepy people online leaving weird messages, untrustworthy people, and promotional comments (oof! That’s a long list!😅)
Transform Your Child's Space with Creative Kids' Wallpapers
Decorating your child’s room is one of the most exciting and creative aspects of parenting. The right wallpaper can transform a simple space into a magical world of imagination, inspiration, and comfort. Whether your child dreams of exploring outer space, living in a jungle with friendly animals, or floating among clouds, kids wallpaper offer endless possibilities to bring those dreams to life.
Why Choose Wallpapers for Kids' Rooms?
Wallpapers are not just decorative elements—they are a gateway to creativity and expression. Here’s why wallpapers are a great choice for kids room wallpaper:
Visual Stimulation: Bright colors, whimsical designs, and fun patterns can spark imagination and boost creativity in children.
Personalization: From dinosaurs to princess castles, wallpapers let you design a space that reflects your child’s unique personality and interests.
Ease of Update: Kids grow fast, and their tastes change. Wallpapers make it easy to update the room’s look without major renovations.
Popular Kids' Wallpaper Themes
Adventure and Exploration: Think maps, spaceships, and pirate ships. These designs inspire curiosity and encourage your little explorer to dream big.
Nature and Animals: Bring the outdoors inside with wallpapers featuring lush forests, jungle animals, or serene underwater scenes. Perfect for nature-loving kids.
Fantasy and Fairytales: Unicorns, castles, and stars create an enchanting atmosphere, perfect for fueling bedtime stories and magical dreams.
Educational and Fun: Wallpapers with alphabets, numbers, or world maps double as decor and learning tools, making study time more engaging.
Minimalist Patterns: For a timeless look, choose simple patterns like polka dots, stripes, or geometric shapes that can grow with your child’s evolving tastes.
Tips for Choosing the Right Kids' Wallpaper
Focus on Durability: Kids can be messy! Look for washable or scrubbable wallpapers that are easy to maintain.
Choose a Focal Wall: Instead of covering all the walls, use wallpaper on one wall as a statement piece to create a balanced look.
Consider Color Psychology: Bright colors like yellow and orange promote energy, while soft pastels like blue and lavender create a calming effect.
Involve Your Child: Let your child pick their favorite theme or pattern to ensure they love their new space.
Where to Find the Best Kids' Wallpapers
Many brands specialize in kids' wallpapers that combine fun designs with high quality. Look for options online or at local interior design stores. Remember to read reviews and choose best wallpapers for home made from safe, non-toxic materials.
Final Thoughts
Kids wallpaper are more than just decoration—they are a canvas for your child’s imagination and a tool for creating memories. Whether you go for playful animals, dreamy skies, or educational themes, the perfect wallpaper can make your child’s room a happy and inspiring place to grow.
[flufftober day 6, wc: 673] - pumpkin pie baking contest gone wrong : p. hanni
THE LIFETIME MISSION that you decided had been assigned to you the day you met pham hanni (which was at the ripe age of six and a half), is to make her happy no matter what. so far, you think you’ve been doing your best to make your girlfriend’s life the best and enjoyable it can be.
it is fall, the season of pumpkins, horror movies, trick-or-treating, and arguably the time your clothes start disappearing from your closet, only seeing hanni wearing a suspiciously-familiar hoodie a day later. not that you mind, but it is getting a bit breezy without your outerwear. the sleeves are too long for her, so she inevitably gains way-too-cute sweater paws, and if your girlfriend wants to steal your source of warmth forever, so be it. you’d do anything for her.
and if she wants to compete against you in a pumpkin pie baking contest, who are you to deny? it doesn’t matter if you’ll lose anyway because you’re inept at baking, because of the fact that it will not fail in making hanni happy.
earlier this morning the two of you went to the grocery store to grab ingredients for the contest. it was nothing unusual, just the regular short jokes, and her saying she’ll definitely beat you (which is true, but it’s not fun if you accept your defeat so openly), and the fight over who pays.
now you’re in your kitchen pulling up someone’s grandma’s “best pumpkin pie” recipe off of the internet, with a whopping 1.1 thousand five star reviews. unsure of how it’ll turn out, you put your full trust into grandma esther. ‘please, grandma esther. please don’t let this be the recipe you use for the son-in-law you hate.’
“what are you praying so hard for?” hanni comes up to you, nudging you by the shoulder, making you jump. she snickers, and you flick her forehead.
“i’m praying that my end result won’t give us both food poisoning.
her eyes soften, and she intertwines her fingers with yours, squeezing your hand before smiling. it melts you in a burning pile of rainbows and unicorns, and that’s okay with you. “i’m sure it won’t be that bad. not enough to beat me, but not bad.
“okay, bro.”
you’re basically done with the recipe. grandma esther’s aesthetic touch is a joy, and you’re truly grateful because now you stand a chance against hanni. probably. maybe.
you feel a light tap on your shoulder, and turn around only to get whipped cream smushed on your nose.
of course, hanni is the culprit, grinning devilishly at you with remnants of cream on her index finger.
“oh, it’s on.” you were not going to lose in this situation.
and that is how you end up pinning hanni to the floor with whipped cream all over your face and hands. your girlfriend is sporting a similar look, but with more of a mess on her face because you obviously won this fight.
determined looks disperse into giggles, and you’re pushed down by the back of your head to the crook of hanni’s neck. it’s warm, like heat emanating from a cozy campfire on a cold night. it feels like you need this warmth, her warmth, to live.
you nuzzle into her neck. “han.”
“what?” she strokes your hair gently, pressing a light kiss to the top of your head.
“i won the biggest prize.”
“you didn’t win yet, though.”
wrong. loving hanni is the biggest win in your life. “mine is already better than yours. i put all my faith in grandma esther.”
you feel the vibrations from hanni’s laughter buzz against your nose, and it tickles. it’s almost liberating; it’s how you feel after a small part of your lifelong mission is completed. home.
“we’ll still have to see if this grandma esther’s recipe lives up to your expectations.
you don’t say anything after that. instead, you push yourself off from the warmth of hanni’s neck, stare lovingly into her eyes, and let your lips take hers.
flufftober masterlist!
Johnny Sokko And His Flying Robot 1967 Episode 25 Review
The Poshest French Musketeer Vampire Ever!On paper, in Manga format, I’m sure this story actually worked… Maybe. But it just falls apart in love action. All things considered. A UNICORN Agent in random driving around patrol is lured into a shrine of some village by a woman. Who turns out to be… A badly done vampire. Really? They could have bought better prop gangs from a novelty store for…
