uni_dayz episode two part two

I came down to visit my dad for the weekend since I finished my weekly assignments early. I also invited Laura and Chloe over so we could catch up. I thought I would discuss my upcoming activities.

Dakota: I’m so glad to see you guys. It’s been so long.

Laura: Yeah, I know. Sorry about ditching you as a neighbor.

Laura was accepted into a special arts school in the city, so she no longer attends britechester.

Dakota: Its fine. I’m happy you got into your program. It suits you so much better.

Laura: I love it. Its 10x better than britechester… no offense.

Chloe: *Laughs*

Dakota: That’s okay, Chloe has been a great neighbor.

Chloe: I love living next to Dakota, she has everything.

Dakota: So, you only like me for my things?

Chloe: Wait I didn’t mean it like that.

Laura and Dakota: *Laughs*

Dakota: Hey, guys. I wanted to talk to you about something.

Laura: What’s going on Koda?

Dakota: So, on Theo and I’s anniversary, we’re gonna…… do it.

Laura: Oh my god Koda, are you sure?

Dakota: Yeah, I am.

Chloe: Your first time with Theo. So glad he’s hot.

Dakota: Well, who else would it be with?

Chloe: Is Theo a virgin?

Dakota: No, he’s not. He lost his virginity in HS before moved to Copperdale.

Laura: Was that his only time?

Dakota: No, it was a few times.

Chloe: That means there’s a chance it won’t be terrible.

Chloe: I remember my first time…. I hooked up with one of the frat bros….

Dakota: Girl, OMG?

Chloe: Yeah, it was horrible. He was so full of himself, and I definitely didn’t orgasm. It was also….

Laura: That’s embarrassing….

Dakota: I’m terrified now.

Chloe: Don’t be! Your first time is with someone you love. It will be special.

Laura: My first time was with a woman, so I had a different experience…

Chloe: Yeah, pleasure.

Dakota: *Laughs*

Dakota: Look, I am not expecting my first time to be this magical, movie made experience. I just want it to be special, memorable.

Laura: I’m sure it will be Koda. Like Chloe said, it’s with Theo. You’re lucky.

uni_dayz episode five: sophomore year

Freshman year was…. a year. It wasn’t bad. It was different than I expected but not bad. I passed all my courses with A’s so that’s good. I met a lot of new people and made some new friends.

Theo and I got closer, even though at times it felt like I never saw him. We made it through though. This year, I’m excited for what it is to bring. I am hoping to work a clerkship sometime this year or next.

Theo and I plan to attend a campus career fair, so maybe I’ll find something there.

When we got upstairs, Theo had the room decorated so intimately. He had rose petals, candles, and some kind of fragrance because it smelled great. Not too strong but soft and sweet. So far, this is better than anything Chloe experienced so I’m not as nervous anymore.

Dakota: I’m going to go in the bathroom and change really quick.

I picked up a cute lingerie set when we were downtown. Theo was looking at shoes while I bought them, so he hadn’t seen it yet.  Okay, I think I am ready to go back out there….

Dakota: Well….

Theo: Wow.

Good response.

Theo: Are you sure you are ready. I promise if you aren’t it’s okay. We can wait.

Dakota: I’m ready.

He lays me down on the bed and tells me to relax.

……… needless to say, I had the best anniversary.

uni_dayz series premiere : freshman year

Today is move in day! I’m so excited. I’ve waited for this all summer. Theo is helping me move into my townhome as he has already settled into his dorm. He actually lives in the same dorm as Noah.

A lot happened over the summer. For starters, I started to work on the relationship with my mom. We’ve gotten to know each other better. She also was able to finally talk to my dad and they hashed things out. Come to think of it, I’ve seen her with my dad…. A lot. They actually sent me off this morning, and my dad was holding on to my mom very close….

Theo and I are bringing in the last few boxes to my townhome. While we’re moving, he sparks a conversation.

Theo: You have too much stuff….

Dakota: This is most of the stuff from my room?

Theo: And it’s too much.

Dakota: I’ll be here for 4 years, how is it too much?

Theo: This is enough stuff to ACCUMULATE over 4 years….

Dakota: It’s not that bad.

Theo: Your entire townhome is decorated like you own it….

Dakota: So?

Theo: I should just move in with you.

Dakota: Yeah, my dad would probably lose his mind.

Theo: He does know that at some point we will probably live together…...and become intimate.

Dakota: He plans on me being his innocent little girl until I’m 40.

Theo: *Laughs*

Theo: Innocent… right.

Dakota: Shut up.

Theo and I finish unpacking the last few boxes and then we relax for a bit. I’m excited to finally be on my own. I also noticed Theo mentioning us becoming intimate. I knew this time would come eventually. I was actually thinking about it finally happening on our anniversary coming up soon…...

uni_dayz episode thirteen: senior year

I finally made it to my senior year yall. I’m so proud of myself. Last year of college, I plan to finish strong. The last few months have been so good, I am hoping this feeling is here to stay.

First, I had sooo much fun with Theo in Windenburg. I got to see so much, and the food was also amazing. I got to see his worksite and meet some of his team. I did not Ana as she was taking the day off. We took A LOT of photos but here are my faves from the two weeks.

When we got back from Windenburg, we spent the entire summer with each other. We had a lot of lost time to make up for, and we definitely spent it making up.

This year will be a little different than before because Theo and I are now living together! Theo gave up his dorm and is now with me in my townhome. Surprisingly, this was something he decided. That year apart must have been hell for him, because he doesn’t like to be apart for too long. I’m okay with this of course. We spent the first two years barely seeing one another and the third not seeing each other at all. I’m excited to wake up to my man every morning.

uni_dayz episode twelve part five

Continuing from the previous episode.

Dakota: Theo?

Theo: Hey everyone.

Theo: Hi Dakota.

What the fuck is he doing here? How did he even know we were here?? The most I posted about this trip on social media was a picture at the airport with Laura. I never said where I was going???

Theo drops his bags and goes around to hug everyone. He finally gets to me.

Theo: Hi Dakota. I’m really happy to see you. Can I have a hug?

I think I’m being punked.

Dakota: Uh…. sure.

He hugs me a bit longer than he does everyone else, and it seems a bit tighter.

He cut his hair. It looks good. He looks good. So good. You know what, no. I am not doing this right now. This was supposed to be about me and my healing journey. Why the fuck is he here??

Everyone starts to ask Theo about Windenburg and his time there. While they were talking, I snuck out and went back to my room.  Laura seemed to follow me because when I turned around, she was coming through the door.

Laura: Koda are you okay?

Dakota: What the fuck is he doing here?

Laura: I have no clue, Koda.

Dakota: Did someone invite him? How the hell did he know where we were?

Laura: I can’t imagine anyone inviting him without telling you. They know what happened with you two.

Dakota: This cannot be happening. I wanted a peaceful vacation.

Laura: I’m sorry Dakota. I can tell him to leave.

I should tell him to leave. Who are you to come in and barge in on MY trip?

*Dakota starts to cry*

Dakota: Laura… is it bad that I kind of don’t want him to leave?

Laura: No, it’s not. If you want him to stay, that’s okay.

Dakota: Can you just have him stay in a room far from mine?

Laura: I’ll switch rooms and stay in the one next to you.

Dakota: Thank you, Laura.

Laura: Of course. Hey, it’s going to be okay.

Dakota: I just want to know why he’s here….

Laura: There’s only one way you’ll find out…

My emotions are all over the place. I didn’t plan to see him this soon, and I have no idea what to say to him. I don’t know if I’m happy he’s here, mad, pissed, or sad. I just need to take a walk and clear my head before I talk to him.

It looks like that closure conversation is happening sooner than I thought.

uni_dayz episode twelve: tomarang

We’re finally leaving for Tomarang. I don’t think I ever counted down the days for something so consistently in my life. Laura and I made it to the airport first. Noah, Chloe, and Marcus should be here soon. I’m so ready for some r&r. Junior year was better than sophomore, but still not the best it could’ve been.

I hope this trip helps me take my mind off Theo. It’s been almost a year since we broke up. I shouldn’t be holding on to something that clearly isn’t coming back. If he wanted to work things out, I’d probably hear from him.

I can’t wait to be on the beach relaxing. Maybe I’ll meet someone there. Who knows? I know one thing for sure, I don’t want to think about Theo.

uni_dayz episode eleven: first time

Noah and I are catching up on some of our homework this weekend. I can’t believe we’ve been together for almost 6 months. I can’t believe he’s been with me for 6 months and hasn’t questioned why we haven’t had sex yet. I know he’d never pressure me, but I know he’s waiting. I want to give that to him, but I want to be completely ready for it. Once we go there, we can’t go back to how we were before…

Noah: How’s the paper coming?

Dakota: I’ll never understand why professors need 10 pages for a point that I can make in less than 3.

Noah: Welcome to university babe.

*Dakota Laughs*

Noah: Simsta has been dead today.

Dakota: Everyone is getting ready for finals; they don’t have time to party and post.

Noah: Oh well this is interesting.

Dakota: What?

Noah: Looks like Theo has a new friend.

A new what?

Dakota: Oh yeah, good for him.

Noah: You don’t want to see?

Dakota: It sounds like you want to see how I react Noah.

Noah: I was just asking.

Noah: I’m gonna grab some water, you want one?

Dakota: Yeah, I’ll take one. Thank you.

I do want to see, but I didn’t want you in the room to judge me...

Wow, she’s pretty. Not shocked.

Noah: You could’ve just said you wanted to see Koda.

Dakota: I’m sorry, I didn’t want you to think I was jealous or upset…

Noah: Are you?

Dakota: No, of course not. I have you. I hope he’s happy.

Noah: Okay, good.

Noah: Let’s go get something to eat.

Dakota: Can we go get sushi?

Noah: Are you not tired of sushi?

Dakota: Fine, you pick this time.

Noah: We’ll go get sushi princess.

Dakota: Yay! Let’s go.

uni_dayz episode nine: junior year

So, this has been a very interesting year in my life. As you know, I am now single. It’s been about 4 months since I became single and I am in a good place I believe. The first few weeks were rough, not going to lie. A lot of crying and anger. Theo was my first serious relationship and we were together for 4 years. It’s kind of tough moving on from that but I did, and I’m good. Speaking of Theo, in case you’re wondering if we speak at all; not really. Every so often, he’ll send me a simtok post and I react to it, but we don’t actually speak. I think he wants to maintain some kind of friendship but that may take some time for me. I mean you kind of broke my heart dude… Any who, I still hope he’s doing well. From his simstagram post, he seems to be enjoying it oversees.

I completed my first clerkship this summer. It was awesome! I got to work on a big case thanks to my hard work and attention to detail. I met some new people and learned so much under Steele and Hart. Although I still have some time, I have been studying for the bar. I want to ace it the first time.

I spent a lot of time with Laura and Noah this summer, more-so Noah. Him and Laura were really there for me after the breakup. Noah checked in on me every day, and made sure I had eaten and slept. He even helped me clean up and reorganize a bit. It was actually nice, because I didn’t get to spend much time with him before. Him and Laura are supposed to be coming over Friday to hang out a bit.

I also learned how to make sushi this summer, so it’s been my go-to meal for the last few weeks. Look how great this plate looks! Call me Chef Wiles.

Anyways, I’m interested to see what junior year brings. I won’t say cheers just yet. Let’s experience the year a bit.

I’m still processing the news from Theo. To be honest, although I’m pretty sad he’ll be leaving, I’m more upset at the fact that Theo didn’t even talk to me about it, at all. He talked to everyone but me.

I’ve been avoiding him for a few days to clear my head.

I want to be so selfish and tell him I don’t want him to go……….

I’m halfway though my sophomore year and I still don’t know if I should take that internship or not. I don’t want to leave Dakota, but I also don’t want to miss out on that kind of opportunity. I know Dakota wouldn’t give me an ultimatum, but it feels like that’s what I’m dealing with. If I stay, I potentially miss out on experience that could benefit me in the future. If I go, I may lose the love of my life and I definitely don’t want that.

uni_dayz episode four: raegan

Theo is taking me to Foxbury commons today. It’s the first time I’ve ever been on campus truly. Foxbury is nice and modern, but I like the historic feel of Ubrite. While he’s showing me around, Raegan approaches us.

Raegan: Hi Theo! I see you brought a buddy to campus today!

Theo has told me to work on my reactions to things. I am trying to be calm.

Dakota: I actually go to school here now. Just transferred.

Raegan has an unsettling look on her face.

Theo: *laughs* she’s just joking, but yes, I am giving her a tour of campus today.

Raegan: Well, aren’t you just the sweetest boyfriend.

Mhnm. So, so damn sweet.

Raegan: Anyways, I stopped you to remind you about the get together the club is having before we head to the competition. You’re coming tonight, right?

Theo: Actually, I have plans with Dakota tonight.

Our plans consist of eating dinner and watching DC movies. I’m so pumped.

Raegan: Oh no Theo! You have to come. We’re all going to be there.

Shut up Dakota, Shut up.

Theo: Yeah, well I’m spending time with my girlfriend tonight.

Raegan: She can come too!

Why is she talking like I’m not right here??? Also, you have to be fucking kidding me.

Raegan: The more the merrier.

Theo: Uh… let me talk to Dakota about it.

Raegan: Cool, just text me to confirm you’ll be there.

Raegan: I mean both of you.

Theo: Okie dokie.

Raegan walks away and Theo pulls me to the side.

Dakota: No way in hell.

Theo: C’mon babe. They did really want me there.

Dakota: And I really wanted to watch DC movies with you.

Theo: She did invite you too.

Dakota: She only invited me because she wants you to show up Theo.

Dakota: You know what, you go, and I’ll stay at home.

Theo: No please. Come here.

Theo: How about if you go with me tonight, this weekend we’ll spend the entire day and night watching DC movies until I turn into the joker myself.

Theo: Please baby….

I hate it when he does that. He knows I’ll say yes.

Dakota: Fine, whatever. We’ll go to this damn party.

Theo: Alright, I’ll let the club know.

Dakota: Don’t you mean your little girlfriend…

Theo: Omg stop, come here.

Theo: I love you, stop being so jealous.

Dakota: *GRUNTS*

Theo: I said I love you.

Dakota: I love you too, even though I’m annoyed.

Theo: Come on, I’ll take you to eat. You can get whatever you want.

Dakota: That was going to happen regardless.

Theo and I head off campus to get lunch, and then I guess were going back to my place to get ready for this “get together.” I better at least have some kind of fun….

uni_dayz episode three: the data club

I noticed I am seeing Theo less and less as the first year goes by. He seems to spend most of this time in class, with the data club or studying. If I’m lucky, I may get to spend the whole weekend with him, otherwise we end up doing very short meet ups like this. He brought over some coffee before he was due for class. My class was canceled this morning, so I plan to get some things done around the house. It’s nice I can finally sit down with him.   

Dakota: I feel like I haven’t seen you in a while. I was starting to wonder if we were still dating.

Theo: That’s a bit dramatic.

Dakota: Is it though? Tell me the last time you saw me this week.

Theo: Well…. we were together… uh.

Dakota: Exactly.

Theo: My schedule has been so full lately. I’ve been so busy with the club, and we’re working on this project that we want to submit for a competition.

Dakota: That sounds fun.

Theo: It is, I took the lead on it since I knew more about the sequence than the rest of the club.

Dakota: Oh, that’s why I don’t see you.

Theo: Koda…

Dakota: I’m just saying, I don’t.

Theo: How about this, Saturday night, we have date night?

Dakota: I would love that. In fact, I would like to cook for us!

Theo…... you’re gonna cook?

Dakota: Yes. I’m gonna pick one of the meals I have saved on Simterest.

Theo: Now I can’t wait to see this.

Dakota: What? You don’t think I can cook?

Theo: I’ve never seen you cook anything.

Theo: *laughs*

Dakota: Well, you’re gonna eat your words when my meal is delicious.

Theo: Maybe I should cook with you.

Dakota: *laughs*

Dakota: Now that is hilarious.

Theo and I continue to banter until he has to get ready for class. I can’t wait for Saturday. It feels like we haven’t had a date night in weeks.

uni_dayz episode two: anniversary

Theo and I have been busy with classes this week, and we finally got some time to spend together. We went for ice cream at a neighborhood store. I wanted to talk to him about our anniversary and the events that I would like to take place.

Dakota: Your ice cream is so pretty. You always order pretty food.

Theo: Its pretty taste too.

Theo: Speaking of tasty food, I made a reservation at your favorite restaurant for our anniversary.

Dakota: Yay! I’m so excited. It’s been hard to get in there lately.

Theo: It’s because of that Sim Tok post.

Dakota: I know, I hate it when restaurants go viral.

Dakota: So, Theo… I was thinking about our anniversary….

Theo: What about it?

Dakota: I figured it would be the perfect time for us… to you know….

Theo: For us to what?

Theo: Wait, you mean......

Theo: REALLY?

Wow, he’s excited, isn’t he?

Dakota: Yes, that.

Theo: Are you sure Dakota?

Theo: If you feel pressured, don’t. I only want to do this if you are ready.

Dakota: I know. I’m ready.

Theo: Okay. I’ll set up something special then.

I can see the excitement in him. He is horrible at hiding it.

Dakota: You can show your excitement Theo. I know you are.

Theo: I’m just happy.

Dakota: I can tell *laughs*.

Theo and I finish our ice cream and head downtown to walk around and maybe buy a few things. Maybe I can find something to wear for the night….

uni_dayz series finale: graduation

Our parents are hosting us a graduation party. Theo’s graduation is the day before mine, so we’ll get to attend each other’s. Its so nice to see everyone together. It’s also nice that every one is here because Theo and I have to tell them we’re moving. I’m hoping it goes well….

Dakota: Thank you everyone for coming. We’re very excited to finally get the hell out of college.

Theo: Yeah, we worked really hard and got through some rough patches.

Dakota: VERY ROUGH PATCHES.

Theo: But we made it, and we’re happy you guys are here to celebrate with us.

Ellis: We’re all so proud of you two.

Noah: Cheers!

Juniper: And we (Ellis, Dana, your dad and I) have a gift for the both of you!

My dad hands me and Theo an envelope. Its kind of small so I assume its like a gift certificate or something.

Theo opens it and it’s a check.

Dakota: A CHECK FOR 20,000?!

Theo: Holy shit. What is this for?

Dakota: Where did you get this kind of money???

Ellis: Well, part of it is the rest of your college fund. Koda you got so many scholarships; you didn’t use it all. So, its yours.

Umber: And your mom and I had this for you when you decided to get your own place, Theo. Something to get you started.

Dakota: Oh my god, this is great.

Theo: Yeah, we’ll need it since we’re moving.

Dana: Moving?

Goddamnit Theo.

Dakota: Oh well… we wanted to tell everyone while you were here.

Theo: Graham is retiring from the OptiSim program. He offered me the position.

Umber/Juniper: That’s great son!

Dakota: Which means…. we’re moving…. to Windenburg.

Ellis: You’re serious?

Dana: Dakota baby, that’s so far.

Dakota: We know mom, but this was a great opportunity for Theo and I wanted him to take it.

Umber: What about Steele and Hart?

Theo: She actually still gets to work for them, just at their Windenburg office.

Dana: Are you guys sure about this? Its your first time out on your own, and you’re moving across the country.

Dakota: We have to grow up one day, mom.

Theo: Isn’t that what you guys have been preparing us for.

Ellis: Wow, you guys already sound like adults.

Dana: I just feel like I just got my family back and now we’re being separated again…

I know where I get the dramatics from now.

Theo: We’ll come visit still.

Dakota: Yeah, and we still have facetime, zoom, all of that mom.

Dakota: You’ll still hear from us all the time.

Theo: We promise.

Juniper: Wow, they’re all grown up.

Theo: Mom, please don’t cry.

Ellis: Well, we are happy for you guys.

Dakota: Thanks dad.

Umber: We’ll have to plan an annual visit for the whole family.

Dakota: Sounds like a plan.

Sheesh, I’m glad we got that out the way. Now we can go back to the party. I still can’t believe we have all this money. I’m going to talk to Theo about getting our first house maybe? We’ll see….

uni_dayz series finale part two

WE DID IT!!!! AGAIN!!

We both finally made it across the stage. I’m so damn happy to finally be done. University was a chaotic, unpredictable, but also eye-opening. Theo and I both graduated with honors. I attended Theo’s graduation yesterday, and he attended mine today. We’re now taking pictures on campus with our families.

Theo steps away for a second to take a phone call.

Steele and Hart are being so gracious with me. I will be working in family law. I have a very nice office located in the middle of town. Theo as stated will be taking Graham’s spot in the OptiSim program. He was given a very nice signing bonus.

Theo is heading back over to me.

Dakota: Who was that babe?

Theo: Graham.

Dakota: Is everything okay?

Theo: Yeah. He called and asked if there was anyway we could come sooner.

Dakota: How much sooner? We planned to leave in three weeks.

Theo: He wants us there by next Friday.

Dakota: A WEEK?

Dakota: We had things planned with our families babe.

Theo: I know. I told him, and he’s now offering me an additional bonus.

Dakota: Do you think it’s worth it?

Theo: Unfortunately, yes.

Dakota: Here, put you hat back on. We still have another shot or two left per the photographer.

Theo: If you don’t want to leave yet, we don’t have to. I can let go of the bonus, its fine.

Dakota: Yeah, but we could use that money.

Theo: Especially if you want that house.

Dakota: We’ll just have to pack this weekend and then spend the next week with them.

Dakota: So, more work for us.

Theo: Are you sure? Again, I can call him back and tell him he’ll have to wait.

Dakota: Yeah, I’m sure. I want this to go well for you.

Theo: I appreciate everything you do for me baby. I love you.

Dakota: I love you too Theo.

Dakota: Now, call him back and tell his ass this is the last exception.

Theo: Yes ma’am.

Well, it looks like we’re leaving sooner than planned. I know this job is worth it, so that’s why I accept it. I just hope our parents will be okay with us leaving earlier.

Now, we have to pack. UGH. I hate packing……………
