Y’know what sucks, character archetypes I absolutely adore and love are also always the ones that (when the game has gender locked romances) are not into the gender my character is (usually they’re straight). Like? What string of bad luck lead me here. This isn’t even a “I’m always into straight guys/characters” thing, this is just me being severely unfortunate and writers not breaking tropes.

#I like my men pathetic and kinda silly #unfortunately those are also the ones thatre always straight #and I don’t play women as much as I used to #because of dysphoria #anyways #trying to decide what to do about Athel #he’s single for life or I choose two romances options I don’t necessarily love #not that he can’t be single but I didn’t make him with the intent of him being single #(in comparison to Joyce. who is aromantic by virtue of being a ranger who can’t stay still for five seconds)#Morrigan is cool but she doesn’t particularly interest me #and I like Zevran and think he’s hot. but again he doesn’t really fit with Athel #maybe he gets with Delia post game #ardean Thorne and his Dalish parents #Athel Mahariel
