Not really an AU, but consider this:

Kitsunami as a dream eater!

I mean look at them!!! Kit could look like this??!!!

The background would be simple. Due to Dream eater pets being crafted by someone, Kit could simply be Surge's Dream eater because Starline deemed her to need one. Although I don't mind him being a Chirithy either, I think a funny little pet as being his base is just too perfect!!
