wait okay while we're on the furries i have to be honest. on any given day lately i find myself thinking deeply about writing actual character study and angst fic about kon's time on furry island. head in my hands. it is an absolutely bonkers arc but i have to give it that it made me laugh SO MUCH to read, and also it's... like genuinely really fucked up???? i think its placement in the overall story is my biggest gripe with it (bc it happened instead of any actual repercussions from kon discovering rex leech had just been using him all along, and then that plot just got dropped bc he just fucked off and kon never talked about his feelings about that betrayal to anyone). BUT ALSO. HE WAS DRUGGED TO THE POINT OF COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT, HUNTED FOR SPORT, AND ENSLAVED FOR TWO MONTHS??? and then he was so lonely he IMMEDIATELY FORGAVE THEM FOR IT??!???!?!?? there's so much to dig into here genuinely like it is So fucked up but then they drop lines like this

and i lose my mind. AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY OR NOT. HELP
