Submission Summer
The NZ government are still trying to push through bills/considering other bullshit. Here are things we can do on my radar, please add to this post if you know of anything else/have any additional resources. I don't believe you have to live in Aotearoa/be a citizen to make a submission for any of these.
Crimes (Countering Foreign Interference) Amendment Bill
Submissions are due midnight 16th of January (today!!!!)
Here is the Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa's (PSNA) submission against the bill
Make a submission here
The Ministry of Health/Manatū Hauora are conducting a review on restricting puberty blockers for takatāpui, trans and non-binary young people
Public consultation closes the 20th of January at 5pm
The Green Party have put together a thorough resource page on this and it's full of community-led submission guides
It is possible to submit to Manatū Hauora through their online survey, but the Greens recommend emailing [email protected] instead as the survey sounds super biased
Employment Relations (Pay Deductions for Partial Strikes) Amendment Bill
Submissions are due midnight the 30th of January
Unfortunately I couldn't find any submission guides for this one, please shout out if you have more info

Crimes Legislation (Stalking and Harassment) Amendment Bill
Submissions are due midnight the 13th of February
Aotearoa is getting its first ever law against stalking and harassment. The aim is to make it as strong as we can.
Hopefully more info on this one to come, I don't know enough about the gaps in this bill to make a submission myself yet.
Tamatha Paul is running an information at the Auckland Women's Centre tonight at 6pm if you're in Tāmaki
Make a submission here if you feel ready
