In this holographic place

To walk throughout this whole entire realm

We can explore

There are unlimited pathways

my worst accidents are the ones I'm paying full attention to the ones who've hurt me most are the ones I've guarded myself against this might be while I try to occupy my time with people I care about least

Honesty is an admirable trait but it comes with a price.

it often makes you feel like a fool

making you believe the rest possess this trait too

you believed that you could trust them

as much as you know they can trust you

but that is not the case

in order to know you have to investigate

dust away the deepest corners of their mouths

record every word, every action, everything

and piece them together

add up all the clues

but the thing is even after everything

you still may not even know if they possess this trait

they can be just that good at faking it

they say the truth shall set you free

but they never say anything about the pain it causes

because it will be something you never understand.

A concept one cannot grasp

because people like us believe it is so simple

and for some reason people like them find it hard.

Being honest is bittersweet

you expect everyone else to be honest too

that is not the case

and the only way anyone ever sees this truth

is after all the hurt......
