Most Scenic Spots In Champawat, Uttarakhand
The land of rivers and forests, this verdant district is famous as the hunting ground of Champwat Tiger. But I found my slice of heaven in the offbeat spots that make up this Kumaon region Dotted with temples, Champawat district has beckoned solitude seekers and spiritual masters such as Swami Vivekananda. It falls under the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. For the uninitiated, the northern state…

I know Wa-Lolita is a whole subset of goth lolita fashion aimed at kind of applying the gothic design principle to more traditionally Japanese garments, but I'm sad there was never some kind of, like, convergent evolution of goth subculture that did to Buddhist cultural touchstones what the goth scene did to christian ones.
Like, the whole corny satanist slant makes sense in the context of embodying the attitudes of an anti-religious-establishment scene, and I get that Buddhism never quite had the same sort of oppressive hegemonic grip over a general population, but certainly there are values of moderation and restraint, and a lot of Confucian "know your place" sorta rhetoric that you'd think some edgelords would have loved to have railed against by adopting some kind of intense Asura inspired aesthetics of self indulgence and pleasure and ego over quiet modest repression.
What little unexplored overlap there is(okay admittedly there's a huge blind spot for me here because my familiarity of these all gets narrower and narrower in every direction anyway but especially in India, so who knows maybe there is in fact a big Indian Buddhist(or Hindu) goth scene already... I sure hope so) between the goth scene and Buddhist cosmology just kinda slaps the existing goth aesthetic overtop of some superficially Buddhist iconography, but I want, again, like... a convergent evolution, where you just put it through the same blackbox process, rather than fuss with the material components of the things going in or out of said box.
like in the same way a buncha corny goths went so far as to make the whole satatnic temple and live the rebel egoist lifestyle embodied by lucifer as a character not as a god, where are the like let your emotions empower you, embrace your inner deva, or something...

The dream rn would be a remote job with a fairly good pay (EU/American junior level pay) so that I can finally start my India tour
The idea would be to stay at a place for a month if the usual tourist stay time is a week or two
Work from there and go around and explore everything every other day.
Hidden places, underrated, unexplored
Food, adventures, conversations, sunsets, desserts, treks, views, beauty and so much more
Someday.... Someday..

Hidden Gems of India: Unveiling the Unexplored Treasures of the North and South
Introduction: Are you tired of treading the beaten path and following the hordes of tourists? Do you yearn for something unique, unexplored, and just a tad sarcastic? Well, you're in for a treat! Welcome to the world of underrated destinations in India, where we'll navigate the road less traveled with a twist of humor and a sprinkle of sarcasm.
Why should I care about underrated destinations in India? Well, dear traveler, if you enjoy being herded like cattle in overcrowded tourist spots and waiting in never-ending lines, then this article might not be for you. But if you crave unique experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and a dash of sarcasm, keep reading.
Can you please tell me where to find these hidden gems? Of course! But remember, if you're looking for signs pointing to these destinations every few meters, you won't find them. That's kind of the point, right? Here are some uncharted territories:
Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh: Where Google Maps Gets Confused Let's kick things off in the remote corners of Arunachal Pradesh, where even Google Maps takes a coffee break. Tawang, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, is a place where your phone signal plays hide and seek, but the landscapes play no games. With the Tawang Monastery as your starting point, you'll wonder why you didn't ditch the crowded hill stations sooner.
History: Tawang is not just a picturesque destination; it's also steeped in history. It's home to the famous Tawang Monastery, which is the largest Buddhist monastery in India and the second-largest in the world. The monastery, dating back to the 17th century, offers a glimpse into the region's rich Buddhist heritage.
Culture and People: The Apatani tribe, the indigenous people of Tawang, add a unique cultural flavor to the region. Their traditional customs and festivals offer visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the local way of life. The warm hospitality of the locals will make you feel like you've found a second home in this remote corner of India.
How to Reach: Getting to Tawang is an adventure in itself. You can take a bus or shared taxi from Bomdila or Tezpur. Alternatively, you could hire a cab from either of these points and let the spirit of adventure guide you through the winding roads and breathtaking vistas.
Keylong, Himachal Pradesh: When the Journey Becomes the Destination Forget about those overcrowded hill stations. Keylong, situated in the Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, is a secret paradise for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. The journey to Keylong is as captivating as the destination itself, with treacherous mountain passes, gushing rivers, and jaw-dropping landscapes.
Adventure Activities: Keylong offers a range of adventure activities for adrenaline junkies. You can indulge in trekking, mountaineering, river rafting, and even skiing during the winter months. For those seeking a more laid-back experience, there are also options for camping, birdwatching, and simply basking in the serene beauty of nature.
Monasteries and Temples: Keylong is dotted with ancient monasteries and temples that hold great religious and cultural significance. The Kardang Monastery, Shashur Monastery, and Tayul Monastery are a few notable ones that offer a glimpse into the region's spiritual heritage. The Triloknath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is another must-visit site for devotees and architecture enthusiasts alike.
How to Reach: Keylong is accessible by road from Manali and Leh. The journey is not for the faint-hearted, as it involves navigating treacherous mountain roads and high-altitude passes. However, the stunning vistas and unique experiences along the way make it all worth it.
Majuli, Assam: An Island of Culture and Natural Beauty Nestled in the Brahmaputra River, Majuli is the world's largest river island and a hidden gem in the state of Assam. This tranquil island is blessed with lush greenery, serene riverside landscapes, and a vibrant cultural heritage.
Satras and Cultural Heritage: Majuli is renowned for its Satras, which are institutions of Vaishnavite culture and learning. These Satras preserve ancient traditions, music, dance, and performing arts. Exploring the Satras and witnessing the colorful festivals and dance performances is a captivating experience that immerses you in Assam's rich cultural heritage.
Flora and Fauna: Majuli is not just an island of cultural treasures but also a biodiversity hotspot. The wetlands and marshes surrounding the island attract a wide variety of migratory birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. You can also spot endangered species like the Gangetic River dolphin.
Badami, Karnataka: Badami, situated in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka, is a historical and architectural gem that often remains overshadowed by more famous heritage sites. This town is renowned for its stunning rock-cut cave temples, which are a testament to India's rich cultural heritage. Start your exploration at the Badami Cave Temples, and you'll wonder why you didn't delve into this archaeological treasure trove sooner.
Architectural Marvels: The Badami Cave Temples, dating back to the 6th century, are carved out of sandstone cliffs and feature intricate sculptures and impressive architecture.
Historical Significance: Badami was once the capital of the Chalukya dynasty and holds a significant place in Indian history. Explore the ancient fort and the Agastya Lake for a deeper connection to the past.
How to Reach: Badami is accessible by road from cities like Bangalore and Hubli. The nearest railway station is in Badami, making it convenient for travelers interested in exploring this historical marvel.
We have a lot of opportunities to witness the hidden wonders of our homeland. It's a reminder that the world is full of surprises, waiting for those willing to step off the beaten path. India's unexplored regions have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we hope that this will inspire all of us to embark on our own quests of journey and discovery.
So, fellow travelers, keep your curiosity alive and never stop exploring. There are hidden gems waiting for you just around the corner, whether in your own backyard or in distant lands. Happy travels!

Osho’s translation of Walt Whitman’s poem PASSAGE TO INDIA :
SAIL FORTH — STEER FOR DEEP WATERS ONLY,
RECKLESS, O SOUL, EXPLORING I WITH THEE, AND THOU WITH ME,
FOR WE ARE BOUND WHERE MARINER HAS NOT YET
DARED TO GO,
AND WE WILL RISK THE SHIP, OURSELVES AND ALL.
He is saying that a spiritual seeker needs to be aware that he is going into unknown waters where no mariner has ever dared to go. And the risk is not small because the challenge is “Steer for deep waters only”… leave the shallow waters for shallow minds. Those who want to know their own depths have to steer into deeper waters.
SAIL FORTH — STEER FOR DEEP WATERS ONLY,
RECKLESS O SOUL, EXPLORING I WITH THEE, AND THOU WITH ME,
FOR WE ARE BOUND WHERE MARINER HAS NOT YET DARED TO GO…
Our goal is where no one has ever dared to go. “And we will risk the ship” — if the worst comes to the worst, we are ready to “risk the ship, ourselves and all.” But we are determined to explore the unknowable. It is a tremendously beautiful passage for every seeker of truth, every searcher for the ultimate mystery of existence: shallow waters won’t do. People want everything without risking anything, and because of this, there are so many exploiters. They tell you, “Just go to church every Sunday and you need not worry. Believe in Jesus Christ, and on the day of judgment, he will sort out those who believe in him. They will enter into paradise; and those who are not chosen by Jesus will fall into hell for eternity.” A very cheap, very shallow solution: just believe in Jesus Christ. Hindus say the same: “Just believe in Krishna. Just go on repeating, `Hare Krishna, Hare Rama.'”…
Walt Whitman is one of the people who is not understood in America at all — and yet, he is the only one America can be proud of.
O MY BRAVE SOUL!
O FARTHER, FARTHER SAIL!
O DARING JOY, BUT SAFE! ARE THEY NOT ALL THE SEAS OF GOD?
Don’t be worried about safety. Is not this whole existence one? Are you and existence separate? Don’t you belong to the same source, the same God? All these seas are of God, so you are safe. Don’t be worried; you can “Risk the ship, ourselves and all,” — and yet, you are safe in the hands of existence.
O FARTHER, FARTHER, FARTHER SAIL!
Go as far as possible. Don’t leave any place unexplored.
He is not saying these words about the outside world; he is saying these worlds are within you. When he is saying, “farther and farther,” don’t misunderstand him. His meaning in the whole poem — this is only a passage, a part — is to go into the inner and risk everything — “the ship, ourselves and all.” And there is no need to be worried about security, about safety, because all this is part of one whole. To see this whole existence — outside and inside — as one, is an immense insight; only very rarely does a poet rise to such heights. He had something of the mystic in him. Although he was born in America, he had something of the East in him; hence, this PASSAGE TO INDIA. India has been for centuries the symbol of the inner journey. It is not just a political entity — it is a spiritual phenomenon. As far back as we know, people have been coming to India from all over the world in search of themselves. Something is in the very climate, something is in the very vibe, that helps.

JOSEPH AVDOL FRIENDSHIP!!! please talk their friendship it's SO underappreciated and unexplored. possibly the biggest missed opportunity in canon when it comes to p3 relationships (thinking on it most of Joseph's relationships are)
you get me like no one else anon
i agree it's a very underutilized relationship. the only time we get to see them interact for a long period of time is when avdol and joseph were affected by bastet and welllll i think for obvious reasons that i wish that wasn't the only time is all
but i do think about them... i think about how joseph met avdol two years before he even got hermit purple. i imagine how they meet is like, joseph is in egypt for some speedwagon foundation event or another and something happens in the street, probably a robbery or smth. the thing is i think the robber was using a stand (i wouldnt be surprised if it was one of the standusers that later serves dio considering a) how many stand users there seems to be in egypt and b) how avdol knew them beforehand) so avdol, seeing this from his fortune telling booth, goes after the guy...but so does joseph. even though joseph doesn't know what's going on cause he can't see stands yet, he still goes after the robber. i think it kinda struck avdol. i dont think he quite liked it at first tho LOL i think he was like "you need to sit down youre gonna get hurt" and joseph is like "nuh uh" anyway the thief demands their attention and whuh! they actually work quite well together. i think after the fight joseph asks avdol if he wants to get a drink and avdol is like oh i don't drink alcohol so they go to a cafe instead and jsut talk. i think avdol kinda tells joseph's fortune there (less to josephs' face and more ruminates over his cards himself) and what the tarot cards tell him is that joseph is a very interesting guy. so even though joseph isn't a standuser (yet) avdol wanted to remain in touch. so i think that was the beginning of their friendship basically. i know it involves a lot of extrapolation on my side but that's what i think. lol
anyway i think they both liked traveling a lot and so they did during those three years before sdc! i think avdol met suzi during this time and they became friends as well. joseph "big bucks" joestar basically was able to take avdol anywhere he wanted to go and it was nuts. i think when joseph got his stand avdol was abso-fucking-lutely elated despite the circumstances of it manifesting cause i dont think avdol really had standuser friends until then (sure he knew other standusers which is why he doesn't have a kakyoin case but still). i bet you anything he was the one going through all these sorta tests to see what exactly hermit purple can do. god bless him avdol is absolutely the kinda guy to get so excited he's like we need to punch a camera now. i wonder if hermit purple manifests in the first place cause joseph was reaching to help avdol but couldnt quite reach him and then boom...vine time.
anyway i also think about joseph seeing avdol bloody in the street in india and scared he's going to have to bury another dear friend and while avdol was older than caesar he wasn't even fucking 30 yet he was so young and when it turns out avdol is breathing ohh i think joseph collapsed honestly. absolutely got at that bitch with some hamon and then ensured his private healing on that island. wagh.
anyway idk i jsut think theyre very silly together. i think joseph brings out the goofy side of avdol he tries so hard to conceal and i think it's quite relieving for avdol. avdol of course is a kind and reliable guide for joseph and he doesnt mind whenever embarrassing things happen and he still stands by him despite everything, both good and bad, stupidly absurd and morbid and serious. i think that in kind relieves joseph a lot. i dont think they really had a father-son relationship per seeeeee but i think it was a family bond. yeah.
anyway this got long sorry anon just. i have thoughts baout them. they were sooo close wah

4 Gipsies Started My Pahadi Dukan From Zero, Now Funded By OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal Along With Many Others
The summit is what drives us, but the climb itself is what matters.”  – Conrad Anker.
The mountains possess an enchanting allure that beckons to our souls, murmuring captivating tales of adventure and unexplored possibilities. And this very pull leads some to places where they transform their lives and even impact thousands of others. For one remarkable individual hailing from an average and humble background, the magnetic pull of the Himalayas proved irresistible, leading him on an extraordinary journey and he named it “my Pahadi dukan”.
The story of Himanshu Dua, who happens to be the co-founder and CEO of “My Pahadi  Dukan,” which is a unique e-commerce store, is one of those real stories that have origins in the mountains and have impacted thousands of individuals living in the remotest areas of the Himalayas. It deserves to be told to the world.
Tumblr media
It is the story of Himanshu Dua and his three friends, who were wandering to find motivation, and they found their life goal in the mountains. Today, he and his three friends, Shubham Tandon, Mohammed Anas Zubair, and Rohan Sehgal, have created a platform called ” My Pahadi Dukan” where people from far away in the mountains are able to showcase their products not only to the people living in India but also to an international audience and make a better living.
Tumblr media
The Journey of Himanshu Dua from a Student to “My Pahadi Dukan “ Founder
Dua belongs to Bahadurgarh, which is a small town in Haryana. He graduated from the botany field and holds a master’s degree in forensic science from Delhi University. However, since his childhood, he has been exposed to travel. During his school days, he got the opportunity to visit Leh, Ladakh.
The awe-inspiring landscapes of Leh and Ladakh seemingly whisper their enchantment to him, forever captivating his heart and igniting and seeding an unwavering passion for their tranquil beauty and the simple people living there.
A Prodigy of our own, Phunsukh Wangdun( AKA “3 Idiots” famous character) institute
Apart from his degrees, he has also done 2 fellowships at the Himalayan Institute of Alternative Ladakh(HIAL), which is famous for its founder, Sonam Wangchuk, the person on whom the fictional character of Phunsukh Wangdun in the 2009 film ‘3 Idiots was conceptualized and played by Mr. Perfectionist Amiri Khan. It seems “Himanshu” took the lesson “Knowledge ke piche bhago, success jak marte huye piche aayegi” (Gain knowledge and success will come automatically) seriously and put his soul and sweat into finding something where he can make a difference in people’s lives.
Tumblr media
How did the Idea of My Pahadi Dukan come into existence
Tumblr media
So he came up with the idea of opening an e-commerce store dedicated to selling these hidden treasures from remote villages to domestic and international customers. This idea was original and had the power to transform people’s lives by allowing them to earn money simultaneously.
Tumblr media
Himanshu and his co-founders felt it was a great opportunity to create something sustainable and profitable. Naturally, their first motivation was to create something to help people living in these regions. And boy, have they delivered? Today, their startup has the backing of IIT Mandi Catalyst, Mr. Ritesh Agarwal from Oyo Rooms at IIM Kashipur, and they have secured financing from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare.
What products do they sell, and where are they sourced from?
Tumblr media
The platform has a customer satisfaction rate of almost 98%, and they are able to dispatch their products all over the world, including India, because of their unique style of working, where they take preorders as well as deliver fruits and other products in good shape by using vacuum -free packing.
Tumblr media
What is” My Pahadi Dukan “  aiming for in the future?
Tumblr media
He concedes that there are challenges, and maintaining a business is not a small task. However, he thinks his ideas are noble, his efforts are honest, and he will accomplish his targets in the future. And he has no reason not to think in this manner and aim for the sky. Because his passion is pure and his purpose is noble, and with the knowledge and support of partners and co-workers, “My Pahadi Dukan” will undoubtedly fly high.

Aashmi Haria
What can you tell us about yourself?
My name is Aashmi Haria. I recently graduated as an architect. I’m based out of Mumbai, India. I am an avid traveler and I am constantly on the lookout for the unexplored. I love learning about the world, through any media possible, which is why I am always watching something, reading or listening to something.
A recurring but necessary question is how did your interest in photography start?
I took up photography in high school, as a means to capture moments of my life and the lives of others around me. It was simple stuff like documenting school events, parties and such. During my time in architecture school, I was fortunate enough to travel and experience various cultures, which has helped mold the way I perceive the world. A need to document my travels and the way it shaped my worldview is what pushed me to take up photography as something more. I have never been very good at explaining myself through words, which is why I started relying on visuals to do my talking for me. I use photography as an escape, as an exploratory device for my own mind.
How would you define your style? Who or what has influenced you?
I don’t think I have a particular style; having a definite style would mean to restrict exploration, from letting myself be whoever I want to be, which usually is a little all over the place. I am very instinctive, I photograph when I feel like doing so. Within the parameters of subjects and context, I feel the process of photography should allow for the end result to be open ended. A recurring theme I have noticed in my images is detail oriented minimalist.
My “style” has mostly emerged from experimentation and learning on the go. I find inspiration all around me. I am highly inspired by the works of other photographers like Ansel Adams and Chris Burkard and a number of architectural photographers. Architecture itself is very inspiring to me, with its detailed visuals and ability to create something. I am continuously inspired by monographs, books, films and music.
How do you feel about sharing your work on social media? Does it have the impact you want?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have always been a little reserved about sharing my work on social media, which feels like an over saturated market now. Social media feels like a factory which is continuously churning out images for people to consume, and is very trend driven, which to me feels a lot like putting myself in a box. When I started using Instagram and Tumblr, I was very set on it just being a corner of the Internet for me to share a figment of my mind, something like my own little virtual personal space. I do believe that social media has become an integral part of our lives now, and helps connect people with similar interests. It is a great way to start off, but there is limited growth here. Through photography, I share my outlook of the world. I love listening to people’s interpretations of my work, and social media has helped with that.
What do you want to show with your photography?
Through photography, I share my outlook with the world, like a Figment of my own mind. I want people to feel something when they look at my work, to invoke something in them. I like frames which allow you to recreate feelings that the subjects felt in the moment. Expressing beauty, wherever I see it, is of utmost importance to me.
Thanks to @sassyphotographerjpeg!

Curatorial Text:
CALIGRAPHIC POETICS OF ASÉMIC WRITING
                                                         por Tchello d’Barros*
“Asemic writing seems to be a gigantic, unexplored territory.”
                                                                                                                                                    Tim Gaze
The exhibition “ESCRIBAS – 1st International Exhibition of Asémic Writing” presents a collection of works in images with abstract spellings, in the language that is becoming known as Asémic Writing. The set, made up of creations from different parts of the planet, also reveals the plurality of techniques and resources for the realization of these works, transiting between calligraphy, abstraction, engraving and even Visual Poetry.
This show promoted by Instituto Imersão Latina in partnership with The Virtual Museum of Visual Poetry, features 26 works by artists from 18 countries in the V Beagá Psiu Poético program, setting up the first international collective exhibition of this modality held in Brazil.
Spontaneously arising in different cultures throughout history, consolidated as an artistic language at the end of the 20th century, the Asémic Writing still very rare, has been gaining visibility, whether with exhibitions, publications, epistemological studies or placement on the Internet. This hybrid art, which transits between word and image, survived the typographic tsunami of the digital age, privileging handwriting (mainly), albeit abstract, as an expressive manifestation.
The works are made up of often invented letters, words that keep calligraphic remnants, sentence fragments that form thought-provoking abstract figures, configuring every movement that has thickened its network of supporters on all continents. It is an art free of academic labels, institutional immobilization and shallow public cultural policies for the promotion, collection and dissemination of experimental languages. Drawing, painting, infogravure, collages, digital art, interventions and photographs are just some of the resources present in this type of creations, presented here from a perspective of diversity of styles.
It is said of the works of Asémic Writing, which are purposely emptied of meaning – because they are absent of enunciation or message – which does not prevent them from making sense, from the perception of those who observe, since there is a silent dialogue between such contents and the entire lexical and imagery framework of those who immerse themselves in viewing these images.
Theorists of Art in Expanded Field or Expanded Poetry, usually place Asémic Writing in the broad scope of Experimental Poetry. So, provoking reflections on the poetic phenomenon in aspects that strain the limits of language, questioning aesthetic aspects of the hybridity characteristic of contemporary art and provoke the debate about where the compass of poetic making points in our time, are some of the premises that guided the curatorial process for this show.

All about disputed Sir Creek, the place PM Modi celebrated Diwali with jawans | Newest Information India
https://www.hospitalitycareerprofile.com/?p=26562 Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali on Thursday with personnel from the Border Safety Drive (BSF), Military, Navy, and Air Drive close to the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat’s Kutch district. PM Modi reached the disputed Sir Creek space and distributed sweets to jawans. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the course of the Diwali celebration with Jawans, in Gujarat’s Kutch.(PTI) All about Sir Creek Sir Creek is a 96-km-long tidal estuary between Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch and Pakistan. Named after a British consultant, it extends into the Arabian Sea and roughly divides the Sindh province of Pakistan from the Kutch area of Gujarat. In line with the officers, the terrain is extraordinarily difficult as summer time days are extraordinarily sizzling and winter nights are extraordinarily chilly. The realm is disputed between India and Pakistan resulting from various interpretations of maritime boundary strains. Sir Creek is taken into account one of many largest fishing grounds within the subcontinent and is believed to carry unexplored oil and fuel sources. What’s the dispute? The dispute traces its origins to the provisions of the 1914 Bombay authorities decision, which sought to demarcate the realm between its Sindh and Kutch divisions. Paragraph 9 of the settlement states that the boundary lies “to the east of the Creek,” implying that the creek belonged to Sindh, now a part of Pakistan. Put up-partition in 1947, Sindh and Kutch divisions grew to become a part of two international locations, India and Pakistan. Thus, the dispute must be settled in line with worldwide ideas of maritime legislation, referred to as the Thalweg precept. Sir Creek is a 96-km-long tidal estuary. It extends into the Arabian Sea and roughly divides the Sindh province of Pakistan from the Kutch area of Gujarat. In line with the Thalweg precept, a boundary may be mounted solely in the midst of the navigable channel. This meant the realm needed to be divided between India and Pakistan. Pakistan claimed that Sir Creek was not navigable, so the dispute couldn’t be settled in line with the Thalweg precept. Nevertheless, India cites that the realm stays navigable throughout excessive tide, and the boundary ought to be determined in line with worldwide norms. India has additionally cited Paragraph 10 of the 1914 Bombay authorities decision, which states that Sir Creek is navigable “many of the yr.” New Delhi has constantly used this paragraph to argue that the boundary must be mounted in the midst of the creek. Talks over Sir Creek After the Indo-Pak struggle in 1965, Prime Minister Harold Wilson persuaded the 2 international locations to arrange a tribunal to resolve the dispute. The tribunal verdict granted roughly 10% of the realm to Pakistan. Until 2012, 12 rounds of talks have been held over the problem, and the 2 international locations haven’t reached a decision.
