Hello everyone, and welcome to Une chanson pour Banjul, the Cameroonian national final for @africavision 2018, which will place in the Gambia!

Our delegation has selected ten songs. All of the artists are really hopeful to represent our country, and they are ready to give their best. However, only one of them can get their spot in the contest... who will it be?

It’s up to you!

Here is a playlist with the ten competing songs. We’ve also made a recap to help you remember them:

Please cast your votes by using this form. The voting mechanism consists in ranking the competing songs from your favourite (12 points) to your least favourite (1 point). The song that gets the most points will be the one representing Cameroon in Africavision. Please remember you can only vote once - in case of double voting, neither of them will be counted.

The deadline is June 12, 2018 @ 7pm CEST.

Une chanson pour Banjul - Results!

Hello everyone! The HoD of Cameroon is very pleased to announce that, based on the results of our superfinal, and after a tight and exciting competition, Lucy Brand will represent our country in the edition 2 of @africavision with her song Mama Africa!

Here are the full results of the superfinal:

1. Lucy Brand - Mama Africa = 78 points

2. Askia - Ma Valeur = 75 points

3. Charlotte Dipanda & Yémi Alade - Sista = 60 points

4. Tilla - Girls U Nova Ndem = 27 points

We’d like to wish all the best to all the contestants, and of course to congratulate Lucy for her well deserved win. And now, let’s enjoy her reprise!

Une chanson pour Banjul - Superfinal!

Salut à tout le monde du Cameroun!

We’ve had ten candidates hoping to represent our country in @africavision 2, but as we kept receiving your votes, it was clear to us that four of the songs were the strongest competitors - and this is why we’ve decided to hold a superfinal!

Before revealing our ultimate lineup, we’d like to thank the rest of the contestants, and wish them the best of luck.
