So maybe you follow my hunting account @mattdevitohunts and maybe you dont. If you do, then you saw that I spent the last week in Maine on an epic bear hunt. If you don’t then here’s some pictures to show you what happened! On the last day of my week long hunt over hounds, I was able to harvest the biggest bear I’ve ever shot! He was an old warrior, all scarred up, and ran for over 2 hours. I took him with a @henry_rifles Big Boy Carbine in .357Magnum loaded with @underwoodammo and @lehighdefense 120gr Xtreme Hunter rounds. He ended up being over 6 feet tall from snout to tail and well over 400lbs. One well placed round of the @underwoodammo and @lehighdefense ammo did the job. Last week I posted a picture asking if an M1 carbine is still a viable defensive weapon, and if the .30Carbine is a viable defensive round.
