Some music appreciation for a talented singer/songwriter @vincentthebeholder. Vincent’s performance for @underthetrackslive premiered early today. I love this song of his called, ‘When It’s Raining.’ Being a songwriter myself, I get excited about the intricacies of the craft. This song flows like a story and a confessional at the same time - that’s really tough to do. Also, I’m impressed with how Vincent uses words such as ‘lies’ in one verse, only to return later in the song with the word ‘white’ in a different context altogether (white lies). It makes me appreciate how much intention goes into achieving an overarching theme, while also taking care to keep each line as meaningful as possible.
