#undertale idea

Hey fazgang

So ever since Undertale yellow came out I've been having an itching creative urge to also make a concept for a prequel... Been stirring in my brain for a while so here is my idea!!

UNDERTALE VIOLET!!! FEATURING PERSEVERANCE SOUL !!!! Design and more under cut!

Her name is PAIGE! And she is my pride and joy. An aspiring teen writer who dives into the underground head on for... Research purposes? On a creative writing project? Well, she is an odd one.

A concept I wished to explore was using her torn notebook as more of a mechanic than just a weapon, so with inspiration from TS Underswap, what if her torn notebook was a menu? Through it you can open saves, loads, notes on the monsters and areas you encounter, and the menu. Which realistically would be changed to items more than anything, but I wasnt thinking at the time LOL.. i didnt want explicit save loading in this game / concept, due to most likely using Flowey. And he has way more determination than this silly ao3 author. So, the concept was to "save" with either auto save, or have some sort of queue or sign to save. Like Paige thinking she should "note her findings" in her notebook, which prompts you to save your game without exactly forcing you to if that makes sense? Though saving and loading is a very integral part of Undertale, so I'm unsure if this concept would exactly work out. If you guys have any ideas how I could do it, please share!

Monster ideas?? Npcs?? New areas?? Um. No idea. I'm not the best with designing non humanoid characters and writing them diversely... And even worse with areas. Ans how will this game be played???!!! Well! If this even does get to become a game, I took inspiration from our lord and savour Racheldrawsthis (praying I got the name right) for a visual novel RPG of sorts! I thought it might be more interesting due to wanting Paige to have more personality, more dialogue and overall be more of a character, so showing expressions was important to me, which is why I designed this shitty example concept LOLL

This format would probably be for everyone, though I'm unsure if every single monster would have a sprite or not. Maybe just Paige? Maybe all important npcs will have a few sprites and expressions to showcase their feelings and personality, mannerisms, etc. a random froggit doesnt get a sprite. 😔

If anyone is interested, I'd love to have help developing this concept, amd perhaps turning it into more than just a simple concept! It would be based mostly off conjoined twins!

So far I only have a drawing of the red half of the switch soul! Soon I'll start on the cyan side of it! :)

I wanna talk about my own AU I made so here I go:

Long ago on the surface basking in the sunlight sharing it with the humans, over time things changed in the small village they all lived in. A sickness struck, humans started throwing up blood dark as the night and lives were lost. Monsters were blamed, first it was verbal then later turned violent. It became a war. Lives were lost on both sides. Toriel, queen of the underground at the time, talked to the humans and reached a peaceful agreement. The King of monsters, reluctant as if the fight continued, both lives were lost. A powerful spell using the sun and the moon to create a barrier trapping the monsters, but the curse from the moon struck the monster population.

201X, tragedy struck as 3 deaths occurred and more fell into place the kingdom fell into anger in despair, the need, desire to leave the underground and kill all of humanity. 

Years passed since the monsters were sealed away and tragedy after tragedy has wracked the kingdom. The King of Monsters, Asgore Dreemurr in his anger and grief made laws and increased the military power of the Royal Guard. Human after Human fell, many have died and 6 souls emerged from the onslaught as their souls were more stronger, even after collecting them, humans decided to fall down to avenge or try to help but ruthlessness was met, and stories came out about the mountain, humans never learning truth regarding the monsters and what happened to the fallen humans previously. As much as tragedy struck the monster world, the human world was struck with it as much. Friends and parents never finding out what happened to their children and pals, hearts and souls yearning for the answers that will never come to soothe the pain they are in. The monsters take their anger and inflict it on falling humans in the form of their pain.

The year 202X, one human has fallen down. The 8th Fallen Human. Their reason was unknown but what was known was their name. Frisk. Unsure about everything but what is known is that they were greeted by another human but their body seemed transparent, Chara. They were confused on why they were revived, unsure about everything. But one thing was known, they had a feeling that they had to protect and guide the human based on that feeling. Start of the journey through the remains of a broken kingdom, Chara guiding the human to save the underground, show mercy, teach the monsters forgiveness, help them change and move past mistakes or slaughter everyone in the way, leaving a wasteland filled with dust and blood…

I just though what the Purple Soul from undertale would look like if they were still ya know alive and I came up with this. She is a child, African American with dark reddish brown hair with glasses who wears a suit with a purple tie. She also carry around her trusty notebook and is the class president of something. Super organized but somewhat good at improvisation and she is a natural born leader. She is also very expressive and strikes poses and makes hand gestures when she speaks.

I may make a blog about this in the future I don't know

I love undertale yellow, especially the launcher trailer. The animation was so good, at this point @fwugradiation could make a series. But what kind of series?

Well I think a undertale sequel. Let me set the stage.

The show would be called undertale Viridian. And the new soul the main character be the empathy soul.

Our main character would be named Emily. The reason she would fall to the underground is because she was picking flowers for her sick grandmother, and sees flowey, thinking it's a normal flower, she dashes to pick it up, but trips on flowey.

And I know what your thinking, true pacifist is thr canon ending, meaning monsters would be set free. But Don't worry I have a solution. Since frisky soul is still with her, and theirs one soul left, the spell would be weakened, meaning some monsters are still trapped in the underground.

Flowey tricks Emily but instead of Emily panicking, she just puts flowey in a pot to bring with her. Thinking his smarts would help her. A few more characters would join Emily on her journey.

And yes this show has a villan. We all renember this line in original undertale

Well I'd like to think the wizard was banished to the underground, Killing off monsters to stay immortal, if Emily defeats him, she can set free all the monsters

Undertale Fan Game, but i still learning to programming a game....

I have this weird idea, i don't know if it already exist or not...

Okay this is the idea, it was in genocide route you already kill sans. In original undertale you can reset and Flowey mad at you. I don't know mad is the right word or not for that reaction. I feel like why not created another option, search for alphys? i want to make sans doesn't die by that blow he get. so we search for alphys in the true lab. Where alphys sees sans dying. She got no other option to fight you... Sans denied because if she fight us you she will dies in one blow. but after Sans tell her we talk we don't want to fight and wanted to bring back everyone... But sans say "why you don't just do what you always do?" You still don't want to because you know if you reset this timeline is still exist just like Storyshift chara story. (It fangame so i want some imagination from me but some Cannon too, Like i feel sans doesn't know about real Reset just know it. True nature of reset i mean not true nature but yeah you get i think) And after that Sans and Alphys other Monster still evacuate because still scare about you. So you wonder around underground again to search for lost friend who doesn't get the evacuation right. After already get that monster you get Sans who already Recover and again trying to fight you because "You still late to be pacifist..." No one there so, no one stop sans to fight you. And after that i don't know what next. i get this idea in the night wanted to sleep i just noted major detail...
