· CRS (Corrosion Resistant Steel) – CRS bars are made by adding considerable proportion of Copper and Chromium to prevent from the rust and corrosion. Copper would be helpful for plugging the pores of the rust and by adding Chromium into the Steel, increase the passivity of anions. The presence of Phosphorous acts as a reducer of anodic reactions. The Steel is made to withstand the onslaught of corrosion from seawater, acidity and also from saline environments thereby making it extremely durable and malleable in harsh climatic conditions. CRS bars are compared differently from the FE 500, however, the extra higher cost is neutralized when higher maintenance cost is considered.
