A Danger Room mishap leads to the manifestation of Illyana’s powers, and for the first time we see her conjure up her soul sword and cut straight through Kitty even when she’s phasing. God damn why haven’t they gotten this kid into therapy! It’s been months since she got back from being trapped in hell for her ENTIRE CHILDHOOD. They’re just going to let that shit sit? Doesn’t Professor X want to play psychiatrist and hash some of that shit out with her in his study? Maybe get her some meds or something? Fucking ridiculous these people. Rogue finally arrives at Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. And her demeanor could not be more different from the last time we saw her. No longer the brash, belligerent, violent young woman who beat the shit out of the Avengers and the X-Men on separate occasions, she now seems like the lost little orphan we knew her as in the movies. OK! Looks like Rogue is finally going to suit up and join the team.
