Another work anniversary, another reason to fund a Zutara commission. The fantastic @umweiss granted my wish* to show a behind-the-scenes moment for the Tempest in a Teacup "ribbon chapter".

*This very much downplays the process since my wish was a lot of incoherent babbling, while her response was a product of ASTOUNDING prettiness and delight. Seriously, go look at her tumblr and tremble with glee. Do it. Do it now.

☆ I'm always a sucker for fake marriage to falling in love, and this fic does it so well. The reason they get engaged feels so realistic to the world of Avatar. I love how to fic takes the time to explore the post-war Fire Nation, since one can't simply change 100 years worth of resentment and propaganda in a day.

Take My Hand, Wreck My Plans by burst-of-iridescent

Renegade, Renegade by cinderellaphant (miraculous ladybug, renegades)

☆ As a fan of the Renegades novel, I felt this fic did a great job of combining aspects of the two worlds into one.

A Legacy of Brambles and Thorns by c-rose2081 (ever after high)

☆ I already loke the dilemma of destinies and the book in eah, but this fic takes it to a different level of danger and choice, and is such an engaging read. I love how well a toughened Briar works as the main character, she knows the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows once a person has fulfilled their story, so she doesn't take anything at face value.

I kissed a girl...(and she woke up!?) by c-rose2081 (ever after high)

☆ I never thought I'd be a Darling x Briar shipper but here I am rooting for them to admit it's more than an arranged marriage. They're in love your honor.

whose woods these are (I think I know) by reiagi (miraculous ladybug; ladrian)

☆ The writing style truly makes it feel like you're reading an old fairytale.
