⁣ Canon EOS 250D ⁣ Taken on 08/05/2022.⁣ ⁣ *⁣ Hidden away ithe Monte Subasio Park, halfway between Armenzano and Collepino, is an enchanting village, unknown to many: San Giovanni di Collepino.⁣ ⁣ Known as the paradise of pink stone, San Giovanni is a place of peace and silence, the perfect refuge to disconnect from the traffic and chaos of big cities.⁣ ⁣ It has nothing touristy: there are no shops, groceries, bars, restaurants, no services. ⁣ Canon EOS 250D ⁣ Taken on 05/06/2022.⁣ ⁣ *⁣ The 'Cascata delle Marmore' – the Marmore Falls – is a magnificent sight to behold.⁣ ⁣ Water from the Velino river surges through the hills before bursting over verdant cliffs and plummeting into the valley below.⁣ ⁣ Surrounded by trees and greenery, the tiered waterway looks like a fabulous force of nature.⁣ ⁣ In reality, though, there’s nothing natural about these falls. At 83 metres high, this waterway is the tallest human-made waterfall in the world.
